pretty decent taste user.

you i like.

so much no wave inspired stuff. contort yourself is a personal fav. as well as public castration is a good idea. and giles corey. and jesu's s/t.

fuck are you me?

just a shame you don't like magnolia electric co. as i think it is the best songs: ohia album.

you got to look into justin broadrick's Final project. I found it to be really rewarding electronic tuff, and made me really appreciate him more knowing it was something he did like 10 years before any jesu stuff.

also i think you'd like earth's hex or printing in the infernal method [pic related]. the fact you don't like more drone is the only thing separating your likes from mine.

pic didn't attach

listen to more kinds of music
make friends
be less edgy

you're making me blush user
i have given magnolia electric co. a listen or two, but i seem to prefer the lioness. i'll give it a few more listens, maybe i'll change my mind

there's this certain feeling I'm looking for, ominous but comforting idk. Kind of like Sounds of Silence, Swift as the Wind, The Wild Hunt, or other folk albums with songs that have that feeling. Almost like something that sounds good in the fall, I can't really put it in words

but any and all recs are appreciated

+a love supreme
try in a silent way

hi!

rec me something no wave if you can, i already heard branca, DNA, and suicide and i loved them.
good taste, scary monsters is best bowie
Antioch Arrow - Gems of Masochism

If you haven't given Filth by Swans a listen already, do, it's the album that basically got me into No Wave
Also check out No New York, it's a split album by Contortions, Mars, Teenage Jesus, and DNA, one of my favourite No Wave releases.

Failure - Fantastic Planet
Causa sui - Euporie Tide

Don't know shit about the rest
Pls rec me stuff that has the same glorious baroque feeling as Sufjan's All Good Naysayer, Come On Feel The Illinoise, Detroit etc...

I have been in love with pic related, can someone recommend me more stuff that sounds like this? Doesnt have to be post-rock.

The Pyramids - The King of Kings

i have a bone to pick with that elaine radigue album
it just sounds like she's holding out the same note with a Juno-6 for hours while she noodles over it with a different patch
there isn't anything "wrong" with that technique but it sounds underdeveloped to me
maybe i need to listen to it again
also i think i said the exact same thing in a different thread a while back
in any case i really like your chart, check out
