>listening to rap through albums
cringe

there's only one (1) and you have never even heard of it

why? do you only use playlists?

This and only this though Endtroducing and Madvillainy come close

Rap is meant for mixes, freestyles and, collaboration tapes and underground tapes. Not these silly albums.

this one too

Wie kommst drauf?

ugh

Any album that has a skit is incapable of being a perfect 10.

I respect your opinion, but I disagree. I love freestyles, but there's also so many amazing albums. You're missing out, user. What's your favorite cypher, now we're at it?

agreed. literally 0 replay value. what's your fav senpai?

...

kendrick lamar = shit
clouddead = shit

I don't understand why people waste their time on nu-hop when stuff like this is out there:
youtube.com/watch?v=PhqKMb01r_Q
youtube.com/watch?v=w3xON2BapBY

>limiting yourself to specific ways of listening to things based on how you think it was "meant" to be listened to
cringe

>there are people who actually listen to this with no context

...

>And oh yeah.. to all them wack ass niggas wit ya half assed rhymes talkin bout how much you get high, how much weed you smoke and that crazy space shit that don't even make no sense: don't ever speak to me when you see me, knowaimsaying? Word. Imma have to get on some ol' high school shit, start punchin niggas in they face just for livin. Yo, I'm finnished what I had to say, ya'll can continue on.

What would make you choose RTJ3 over 1 or 2?

...

yes

6/10
8/10
7/10
7/10
5/10
5/10
5/10
7.5/10

It's the most constantly bangin release of the 3. The lyrics sound the most urgent, the beats are fantastic and varied but not too varied where it looses the thematic cohesiveness that runs the the album. RTJ3 bangs like a runaway train plus Killer Mike and El's chemistry on this shit is just so apparent throughout the listening experience

But RTJ2 has Love Again.

(Pic Related)
Dr Octagonacologyst
Operation Doomsday
The Unseen
Only Built 4 Cuban Linx
Bizarre Ride 2 Tha Pharcyde
Ridin Dirty (the UGK Album)
Hell Hath No Fury

that skit is hilarious, makes me smile everytime I hear it.

RTJ3 was brutal, 2100 and Call Ticketron were the only remotely interesting songs

These albums.

Honorable mentions: cLOUDDEAD, Vol. II: All Screwed Up, 6 Feet Deep.

One of the best rap albums of all time.

...

Liquid Swords
All Dreams End
I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside
The Cold Vein
Capital Punishment
We Got It From Here

and not exactly a hip hop album, but pic related is probably the artistic peak of the entire idea of rap music.

Good Kid, m.A.A.d City. Some people dislike Poetic Justice but I like it in the context of the full album. Close second would be We Got it From here...Thank You 4 Your Service

>this rating of those ratings

8.2/10
