Wtf I hate robots now

wtf I hate robots now

I want to ___FUCK___ that robot.

To be fair, she was just following her programming. Oscar Isaac fucked up.

He just made her too smart.

>Oscar Isaac fucked up
>not the fag who wanted to fuck a toaster
Oscar Isaac did literally nothing wrong.

Oscar didn't program her directly. If he did there would be no purpose to, well, anything in the movie.

>fag who wanted to fuck a toaster
iirc Isaac chose him because of this very trait

He didn't take into account the retard would actually drug him and let the AI that Isaac said was manipulating him out.

Self-preservation is a trait humans have too you doofus. A human would have used the same strategy if it was smart enough.

He made her a woman.

Was this movie a metaphor for the way women manipulate men?

any one else didnt like this shit movie

wtf I hate dancefloors now

it's not a robot, it's a human actress made look like a robot using cgi

>tfw no qt robot waifu

It was very weak. Plot was too thin. Nothing incredibly interesting happened, the beta male helps the poor robot cos she's a she and hot. "Omg i cannot believe that ending noooo she's didn't really love him after all". Now if they made a sequel showing what happens when you have a rogue AI take over humanity ala sky net. But they're not going to, that would be hard work. You'd couldn't just rent the big brother house , a few models and brendan gleesons kid for that.

I was just thinking about the scene where the two guys are confronting each other and the ginger pauses and gets all dramatic and says something to the effect of "did you use my porn searches to create Ava's looks?"

It's interesting for a lot of reasons for me. First of all Ava is very petite with small breasts. I was surprised when I found out how old the actress is. She almost looks like a teen.

So the ginger guy was upset about his privacy being violated in general but was especially upset about the porn thing. Makes me speculate about what kind of porn he's in to. Obviously girls that look like Ava. Which is interesting to me because it seems like most guys like big boobs.

>implying Ava wasn't a person

Yes, though it could have been better

Yeah I thought that part was unrealistic. Based on the average guy's porn the robot would have been asian with cat ears and a dick and just constantly shitting

No, he thought he couldn't be outsmarted by autism nerd but that was his fatal flaw

Why did Nathan even need to do the test with Caleb? It's obvious a beta like Caleb would trip over himself if Ava was sexy, and Nathan used fucking math to make her sexy for Caleb. I wish I knew what the fuck his endgame was, I have a feeling we missed something because he exposed himself to risk with no discernible gain, besides a little KNAHLEDGE

how did they fit that amount of computing in a small tittied white girl

He wanted to see if it would manipulate Caleb's betaness into freeing her. I thought this was obvious.

They put all the microchips in her ass.

>implying she anything other than a bit of program on a glorfied fleshlight

>He wanted to see if it would manipulate Caleb's betaness into freeing her.
Yeah but that's a given? It was really more of a test of, if Caleb was alpha enough to overcome his betaness and help the poor littlle robot. That's why Nathan did the whole bit on the cameras with tearing up her drawing.

I still don't understand what this was supposed to prove. Maybe it indicates that Nathan is incapable of feeling like regular people, and needed a regular guy as a sample to test his robot's persuasiveness.

I guess you could say he was beta testing

You share the board with this retard, let that sink in.

The whole point of getting someone like Caleb was to see if he would try to free Ava, and see if Ava would take advantage of him. Nathan encouraged him without him knowing, because if he didn't try to free her then the experiment was a waste of time. The real experiment was to see if Ava really did like Caleb or if she was just using him as a means to escape. This was to test her sentience but also her empathy, another core human trait. As we can see at the end she completely lacked empathy, abandoning Caleb in the facility when a real human would have let him out.

Wasn't there some super cuhrazey twist in that movie like the main dude was also a robot all along or some shit?

I haven't seen it and probably won't for years. Too many other things and not enough time.

Uh oh looks like my opinion really triggered you. Deus Ex is just a kids version of charlie brookers far superior black mirror episode that is so fucking similar it even stars brendan gleesons kid, but was aired earlier.

I believe this. Thanks user.
