A town called Panic

Wreck-It-Ralph

It's such a beautiful day

Cartoons cannot be films. You might as well play video games.

...

>Mulan
GET OUT.

...

Anesthesia is the best Disney princess, try to prove me wrong protip you can't.

DIGIMON
DIGITAL MONSTERS

Pretty much all the animated films worth your while weren't made in Japan, so it's not a hard mode. Anything japs churn out can be safely discarded for their work is complete garbage.

The Lion King obviously

It was never properly finished, but The Thief and the Cobbler

Easy.

Older Disney and older animated stuff that isnt disney. Just search for any animated feature from the 80s and you're sure to find some cool stuff.

The only reply you got was your own (you) That's pretty bad bait, son.

Weeaboo spotted.

>At a party with some friends this weekend
>We start playing music from these movies
>I start talking about how cool it was when back in the 90s Disney was doing all these movies that depicted famous folk lore stores from different cultures from across the world
>"Yeah I liked these as a kid but watching them as an adult I just notice all the little things in them that are not OK" my friend says
>She mentions Aladdin specifically
>I say "Eh I think it's fine"
>She tells me that, as a white male, I'm not allowed to have that opinion

Jesus Christ. Here we are in the early fucking 90's and we have these cartoons aimed at young American kids. They feature leads of all genders and races, depicting cultures from all over the earth. This is exactly what these progressive types harp on about, but these people still have a problem with it because of vague shit. Seriously, look up their problems with fucking Aladdin. It's nothing concrete, just crap Aladdin and Jasmine's skin being slightly lighter in tone than that of other characters. Sure, none of these movies are perfect depictions of those cultures, but you can't expect them to be if they're aimed at appealing to a mass American audience. Mulan can't be speaking Mandarin and be being sold to her dad's friend's family for a bundle of corn.

When my friend started pressing her to mention something specific in Pocahantis she had a problem with, she literally couldn't think of anything.

Fuck it made me mad.

And to answer your question, Mulan is GOAT.

>this thread

Stand back plebs, the number one patrician animated kino is here

>Nobody has said Iron Giant
Fucking plebs.

THE PRINCE OF EGYPT

>that score
>that cast
>that comfy story

It's pretty short, but it was done by a single guy doing oil on glass painting. I think it took him over five years to make it?

Good stuff. Russia has some neat animation.

I really wish Dreamworks made more 2D movies. They fell into a horrible slump once they went 3D. Except for Kung Fu Panda.
