Does anyone else have ibd (colitis/chrons/whatever else)...

Does anyone else have ibd (colitis/chrons/whatever else)? Maybe we can help each other out or at least get some feelings out.
Pic kinda sorta related

lol you genetic defect

Yea I've wanted a family since I was little but feel bad creating children with a high chance of a chronic disease.

dont worry about it as you can see with
people with a much worse condition also have children

Honestly I appreciate you

That drawing is adorable.

Have uc, none of the shit they put me on worked so I had to get infusions

I live in a state with medical marijuana which I'll probably try. I've read some medical studies out of India about Kratom to manage UC. It's legal to buy online in most states. I've used it to calm down flair ups of my UC

Not my oc but some online friends I have make them. I'm not into mommy gfs but I maybe you are

More likely what we would encounter..

Id date this.

When I was in hospital for a flare I had a joint with my friend and it decreased the pain.

My dad is a cop and still believes marijuana can kill people, doesn't help my sister died of a heroin overdose, so it's gonna be a while before I'm on my own insurance and can try it

I'm glad someone posted this thread. I have something wrong with my digestion but I'm not sure what the hell it is.

All the time, my lower stomach sticks out like a hard pooch, like in this picture. This isn't me in the picture, it's someone with a similar case that I saw on a forum, but my stomach looks exactly the same. Anyway know what this could be?

I'm glad this brought you potentially happy thoughts. Cool dubs by the way :)

I have no idea what this is. My best bet would just be really bad bloating. Is your poop weird?

It's illegal here so I guess I'll get dicked by the pharma industry, also sorry about your sister

Not really. But I have a diarrhea attack at least once a week.

Fuck pharmaceuticals for real man, the whole business of it is messed up. I'm taking dicyclomine rn for cramping and I'm so dizzy I can barely walk, definitely can't drive or attend classes. And thanks for your condolences, I actually hated her while she was alive and only recently realized how much better my life would be with someone to walk me through it.

I would go to a doctor, I know it can be embarrassing but you gotta. My shits were 100% liquid, lots of blood, 3-4 times a day before I went to the doctor. I was at a point where I had no warning, I had to get up the moment I realized and Sprint to the bathroom. Trust me you don't want to wait for more of a reason.

I'm was on immune suppressent steroids and they gave me a fuck tonne of ance but they kind of worked

my mom left me so this is my kind of gf

I was hospitalized a little bit ago, steroids didn't give me acne but I was eating 5+ full meals a day and I'm a skelly

Really sucks that your mom left but I'm glad I could hook you up with a relevant gf

Oh I love these.

Quit taking lactose, you stinky, flatulent, twat!

I have Crohns. It doesn't really do much, except I get the shits on occasion and around once a month or so when I shit, my asshole bleeds for a couple days.

So basically, I get periods. Awesome.

My doc has referred me to a GI specialist. Unfortunately I have to wait a couple more months before the appointment.

Did your symptoms gradually get worse over time? Or did they all kind of come on suddenly?

My symptoms have gradually gotten worse over the course of 5 years.

Mine gradually got worse over a few years, has good times in the middle so I always thought it'd just go away

Same thing, maybe not 5 full meals though. Had a lot of anger as well

As OP I delcare this a dual cute-gf/IBD thread

I was never angry until I got diagnosed. Ever since it feels like I'm constantly at my boiling point, no clue why, I am incredibly laid back and calm. I'm used to being numb so I don't even know how to deal with it.

Ah good thing I'm getting this checked out then. Hopefully they find something when they give me a colonoscopy.

Another question for anyone here with stomach issues. Were any of you on accutane? I've heard that it can cause crohns and uc

I shit like 5 times a day cause I drink so much

Tumor

I was not but I think mine was either caused by a lot of stress or by vaccines. I was working on my eagle project with tons of pressure from every adult I know when things really started to become apparent. I ended up quitting the project and honestly have no regrets, so much weight of my shoulders

Might be something to do with your serotonin, the gut plays a big role in producing that. I just find breathing and clenching my fists helps, I've broken a lot of dry wall so I had to learn to be clam.

I don't think consuming a lot of water would cause that tbh, unless you have a really unbalanced diet. But I could be completely wrong as I'm not medical professional

My stomach has been like that for 5 years. If it was a tumor it would have killed me by now

No, but I was on dyoxcylcin. It's an ance medicin as well and I've always suspected it of causing my colitis

That makes sense. I also use psychedelics and have been on SSRI's in the past so there's probably a lot factoring into that.

i have a verified gluten intolerance (multiple blood panels and immunoglobulin tracking) When I used to eat anything with gluten in it sometimes I would constipated. But a majority of the time I had a low immune system so I was always sick and up until 4am with diarrhea that hurt so bad I would cry. and I couldn't gain any weight. I feel for you user. A specific diet really can help a lot of the time with at least reducing your symptoms depending on your disease

Alcohol doofus

I've taken acid like twice, second time I was on a highish dose of steroids and I full on lost control and got taken to hospital, it was 300ug though and I'm pretty skinny

Does lots of alcohol cause frequent shits? I don't really know anyone that drinks aside for like a beer a month for a hockey game

Beer shits and liquor shits definitely are a thin m8

It is a diaretic, probably does

I've taken huge amounts of LSD but to be fair I've tripped ~150 times on various psychedelics. Kid in my graduating class nearly murdered his best friend since kindergarten 6 months ago. Beat his head in with a rock, must've been a hell of a ride.

only niggers can't drink milk

*diuretic

You're *

This though. The pain during a flair up is the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. I've had more religious experiences on the toilet than anywhere else just begging for a reason why this is happening to me.

I was sweating a ton on my lower back and ass, until I cut milk out completely. Now I can wear khakis without worry and my mind feels clearer too. And I don't have to shit every time I eat or drink caffeine. Realized it was milk after years of suffering

I've been drinking cashew and almond milk for 6 or so months, feels good to not be a baby cow

Fuck this thread is brutal

Sounds really inconvenient, good reason for me to not pick up drinking I suppose

I feel your pain user. I'll always be with you in spirit

Eh, I don't drink beer cuz I'm this guy but I drink liquor about every night. It doesn't make me shit much, especially not liquid, but I'm not a heavy drinker and I re-hydrate

Threads like this are why I enjoy Sup Forums. Made it hoping to attract some positive and understanding people and it's exceeded my expectations

Yeah I'm a huge binge drinker

Yeah, then you get into a thread where everyone is shitting on you for posting. what an odd place

how's that going for you?

Dying slowly and liquid shit a dude what part didn't you get? I love it I'll spend all my money while I can enjoy it and die at 65 but make enough dough to save 10% in case I ever wanna turn my life around or leave something to my family. I'm mid 20s no kids.

I hope this doesn't result in serious problems for you, I hope that if a time comes where you want to quit you are able to do it with minimum suffering

It is really weird lol. Up until last week I hadnt been on b for 4 years

>or at least get some feelings out.
Bathroom's the second door on your left.

>Wife has mild IBS and is lactose intolerant.
>We eat a lot of fiber to keep things moving.
>Most cheeses are still ok (no soft spreadable cheeses).
>She gets really gassy some nights and I'll leave a fan on.
>My only rule is "no farting on my balls".
>Good rule

Good luck dude. my womans dad died in his 40s from that shit. coughing and shitting blood is no joke. But the man was a damn hard worker

This is the only place my gf is allowed to fart

This caused me to chuckle

I hadn't been here for about three years, then I came back a few weeks ago.

Old habits die hard I guess. btard 4 lyfe yo

(OP) I have thoroughly enjoyed this thread and interacting with you all. If you guys want I'll just start up a general positivity thread tomorrow around 11am EST. Give you a break from the traps, lolis, trap lolis and ylyl threads.

Same and I'm ready for that. I did and my mom makes bank my insurance alone would take care of half of her house payments easily if I died tomorrow. In the 20 years I've got left assuming I die at your guys age I'll die without debt and a big stack for my family plus a much bigger insurance. Feelsgood

I just can't go back to r9k, it drains my will to live. I pretty much only browse x

> got that $1M life insurance plan
> didn't see the fine print about dying on drugs
just kidding, but fuck my life if there's such a thing

Glad someone besides me appreciated it.

My insurance plan has no clause for cirrhosis m9

what about dying behind the wheel with a .40 bac?

Yeah then I'm fucked. But that's what uber and taxis are for. I live in a big city no need to do that

>tfw gf is lactose intolerant
>she farts all fucking day long
>she doesn't know, or has the will-power to stop eating shit that's bad for her
I have IBS, pretty much anything I eat results in me shitting myself for hours. Feels bad because I like going for walks/hikes but I always have to end it quick or risk having an uncomfortable crawl back to my car or house. If I go hiking I usualy just bring some wet wipes so I can shit in innawoods.

>That OP pic

I've seen scat porn, but this is cutting straight into weird territory.

those kandoo wipes tho, right?

I'm pretty tolerant of most foods I think my flair ups are mostly triggered mentally. But for real man get adult diapers. It's embarrassing but it's worth it to have in an emergency

yeah, depends sure are dependable

itt: lots of people with made up problems that just want attention

Also my car is fast i won't even feel it, what happens after don't matter

...

Aw dude, you got me! I love going to the Dr. office and telling him/her that I have earth shattering diarrhea. It really sates my desire for attention

Alcohol brings the worst morning shits in your life. Especially if you don't tolerate wheat when it comes to drinking beer or have been drinking for several years.

Ulcerative colitis isn't a made up problem, neither is chrons. These are legitimately debilitating health disorders. I'm glad you got to feel edgy and cool after posting that though.

I feel for the dude that has to scrape your face off the pavement on a hot day

>mfw the toilet bowl cracks under the pressure
>have to clean the shit flake water that floods the bathroom.

I'll stick to teas I suppose

can't forget the splatter on the underside of the toilet seat and where the water comes out near the rim

Don't. He gets paid a fair wage for working a fair day. A job without skill, to scrape up my kill

good rhyme. I just wish you had devils trips and a good pic to go with it

Mfw Satan's trips
Mfw Mexican scrapes me off pavement

I didn't read the threat but this is my contribution:

I'm a 27 year old male. When I was like 9 years old I ate at a Taco Bell and got REALLY bad food poisoning. I was paralyzed (couldn't speak/move) for 12 hours. Eventually I got up and threw up about 15 hours later, and hard taco shell cut up my throat as I threw up. I never digested it.

Ever since that time, my stomach has never been the same. From ages 10-18 I spent in and out of hospitals, Mayo Clinic, literally had EVERY test done to me available.

They came back and told me I had "IBS" because they couldn't find anything else. I had to be homeschooled from 8th grade until college.

When I was 15 I was hospitalized in the ICU for weight loss and stomach issues. I couldn't eat at all. They eventually found out that i "lack an enzyme to digest anti inflammatory medicine" , which caused motrin (I had braces/headaches) to eat a hole in my fucking stomach.

Fast forward. I was about 5'10" 100lb soaking wet until I was like 24 years old. I took control of my life. Found out I have dozens of food allergies and it caused my IBS, basically. I started eating properly, cut out allergens, and now I'm 140lbs solid muscle. I'm still skinny, but my goal is 175lb and I'm working really hard at it.

Recently my stomach issues have returned, but not as bad. They still think I have IBS, and prescribed a $500 medication called Xifaxan for me. I'm going to try it and hope that it will make things better. The biggest problem is how limited my diet is between allergies and things that give me diarrhea from IBS.

Good luck to everyone out there with any disease that is similar. Sometimes the will to keep going is hard to keep up.

Great contribution, I really appreciate you sharing. I'm sorry to hear about all the health trials you won't through, seems like the doctors failed you a bit. I hope your health improves and that one day none of us will rely on pharmaceuticals to preserve the natural state of wellbeing.

crohns here. went on humira 3 months ago, doing pretty well. life sucks but not because of crohns anymore
