>Hello, Man of Spiders. I have noticed that my rent is late, yet again. You have been spoken to about this many times, and many times you have not paid rent. Maybe a story, a story from the old country will inspire you. >Bosnia is cold in winter. When I worked the rape camps, we would warm ourselves by finding a young woman and entering her via any orifice we could. Three men could warm themselves up with one village girl. In war, noble men do barbarous things. I will never stop hearing the screams, and I have a distaste for killing...But not for rape. Here, today, in America, I do not let my men kill...But I will let them rape. >Man of Spiders, if rent is not paid this month, you need not worry about your door. I will keep you warm. And perhaps, if the wind howls loud enough...my men will keep Aunt May warm as well.
>Dosvedanya, Man of Spiders.
Raimi had to go to some seriously dark places to make this movie.
Jose Roberts
>its a Truman makes a raimiposting thread episode
Nathan Wright
>Harry tells me you're quite the science whiz. You know, I'm something of a scientist myself. I like to pee on ants and watch them swim around in it. I sometimes wonder what they think of the mysterious yellow rain. They panic at first, mandiples flaining, running into each other, trying to escape the warm, bitter stream, but eventually the come to accept it, maybe even enjoy it. Really puts things into perspective. So Pete, if you ever find yourself in doubt, just find an ant hill, and pee on it. You'll thank me later.
There were lighthearted, yet insightful parts too.
Brody Morris
>the scene where Peter Parker wordlessly watches 9/11 conspiracy videos, which are presented to the audience in their entirety with the subtitle "QUESTION EVERYTHING" on the bottom of the screen
What did Raimi mean by this?
Benjamin Morris
>Do svedanya >Every Slavic language is Russian
Bentley Wilson
>implying eastern Europe is any more than Europe's Mexico
These people don't matter.
Joseph Reyes
>those fucking 9/11 flashbacks of Spider-Man saving people, knowing he'll be unable to save them all and trying to reassure he'll come back for them >that scene where he takes off his mask ontop of the empire state building and screams "DAMN YOU GEORGE BUSH!" from the top of his lungs Really powerful stuff
Wyatt Collins
>the scene where Norman Osbourne has a vision of mudslimes destroying America household by household then begins to harness the power of the sun to eradicate them all in one fell swoop
what did raimi mean by this
Leo Reyes
Truly a visionary director ahead of our time

>Tommorow's headline: NORMAN OSBORN RESTARTS AUSHWITZ!!
Jesus. I was a clueless kid.
Cooper Price
>Fix this damn door or I break your daughter's birth hole with an Auschwitz prisoners train! What the fuck, how was this PG-13?
Matthew Johnson
Why is Raimi the only guy who can truly do CapeShit flicks?
When will he come back to save us from Zach Snyders ans Russo Bros of the world ?
Jack Butler
Because Raimi wasn't trying to set up some shitty expanded universe. He just made self contained super hero movies.
Daniel Carter
>When I worked the rape camps, we would warm ourselves by finding a young woman and entering her via any orifice we could. Ok so to sum that up: when you worked in the rape camp, you raped people.
>Three men could warm themselves up with one village girl. [...] I will never stop hearing the screams What screams? She obviously had a dick in her mouth. Maybe muffled screams. >and I have a distaste for killing...But not for rape. Here, today, in America, I do not let my men kill...But I will let them rape. Why would you let them kill in the first place? You always talk about rape and stuff. As far as I know, you've never killed a man. >>Man of Spiders, if rent is not paid this month, you need not worry about your door. I will keep you warm. Wait, if raping keeps you warm, and you want to keep me warm, does that mean you'll let me rape you? >And perhaps, if the wind howls loud enough...my men will keep Aunt May warm as well. But she doesn't have a dick. >>Dosvedanya, Man of Spiders. Isn't that Russian? I thought you're from Bosnia
Jaxson Flores
>Gunshots keep killing niggers dead >And just like Hitler I won't >tol-er-ate the Reds >Marxim's not for me >No I ain't ever gonna stop the Jews from complainin' >I'm freeeeee >No niggers ever neaaaar >Meeeeeeeeeee
Raimi painted a more relatable side to the American Nazi Party, and I for one appreciate it.

>russian >bosnia
Americans are really this dumb.
Jose Clark
Yeah it's like saying "Guten Tag" and thinking it's English. Both are Germanic languages (as you can see by how similar Guten Tag and Good Day are) just like Bosnian and Russian are Slavic
Gabriel Torres
There is no such thing as 'bosnian'. Bosnians speak serbian, croatian and serbo-croatian.
Ayden Bell
>It's Bruce Campbell gets high and shitpost on Sup Forums
I'm onto you Bruce
Evan Edwards
Man, Raimi really activates my far-right feelings after viewing his films.
Jackson Lewis
>Dammit Parker, I need pictures of Spiderman, not Aunt May's prolapsed anus!
Wow Raimi, wasn't this supposed to be a family film?
Brody Jackson
Blurring the lines between villain and hero in an eerily prescient adaptation of the present anti hero trend we see in modern capekino. The way he presents Osborne as a bad guy to get past the (((censors))) but winks approvingly at his actions was a masterstroke of white nationalist art.
Ayden Ross
this majmune neobrazovani
Benjamin Brooks
>they don't know that Mr. Ditkovich is an ex-kgb Russian mercenary who travelled the world in search of conflict and women to rape before settling down and renting out studio apartments in NYC
Holy shit I knew no one in these threads actually watched Raimi's Spiderman
Charles Moore
If you read the companion comic, it's clear he went into landlording to ensure a steady stream of young vulnerable women. The linoleum and countertops he chose were specifically designed to prevent fingerprints, ostensibly for "ease of cleaning". The guy was playing chess while everyone else was playing checkers.
Michael Young
>mandiples flaining Always knew these threads had literal retards
William Sanders
Really upset we will never see Spider-Man 4: Ditkovich Rising
Ethan Powell
>AND THEY SAY THAT A FUHRER CAN SAVE US >AND BURN ALL THE KIKES AWAYYYYYYYY
Damn, I didn't remember Nickelback being so aggressive. Raimi really had an interesting soundtrack for the movies.

Deep character building. Can Snyder even compete?
Caleb Perry
Sam raimi is a mad man
Julian Sanchez
>Spider-man, Spider-man >Go to China like Japan >Rape of Nanking >Makes me sing >I hate Chinese more than anything >Look out! >Japan did nothing wrong!
I had no clue Raimi was such a supporter of Imperial Japan.
Anthony Adams
>You look like a fucking pig in heat and if you get raped by a pack of niggers it will be your fault!
So was Mel quoting Raimi, or Raimi quoting Mel here?
Charles Reyes
I can't breathe
Colton Jenkins
>Miss Brant: Boss, your wife's on the line, she said she lost the baby. >J. Jonah Jameson: Thanks for the good news! I get that Raimi wanted to show that JJJ didn't want kids, but he made him a bit too happy about it.
Aiden Wright
Best one I've ever seen.
Gabriel Clark
They had to inform the audience of what Spiderman's webs were made of somehow, it was a little hamfisted sure, but at least they respected the Silver Age adaptation of Peter's web fluid.
Jaxson Smith
underrated full circle post
Luis Wilson
Batman 1989 is not only self contained it has the origin, joker fight and death, solving his parents crime in the same movie.
1989 did what stuff that 3 movies to other people.
Jace Johnson
I can understand being relieved over not having to bear the burden of children, but it was really over the top when he sold his wife's aborted baby batter to Harry Osbourne.
Apparently in the director's commentary Raimi and Franco both insist that it was the others' idea to make Harry a cannibal with a hunger for placenta in this adaptation, though they both settle down and admit it was a bold direction to take the character.
Cameron Murphy
>oh god I've become everything I've fought to protect this city from .... A nigger
Raimi was the king at showing the downfall of a protagonist
Aaron Thompson
Most powerful thing ever
Daniel Anderson
This is fantastic. Didn't think anything could top the first "Man of Spiders" post but this comes damn close
Justin Ortiz
Because we live in a different era
On those era, The Hobbit one self contained movie. Modern Hobbit is e movies with no reason other than money, and they were right.
