I've owned it for years too but never played it. I started it and after a few hours I was bored as fuck. The desert environment + western theme everywhere you went was so fucking bland and got old really quick for me. Fallout 3 is one of my favorite games, but New Vegas just felt like a way shittier version of it.

You should do the house always wins at least once. The only truly good ending is with House, where he sets vegas up independently and begins to rebuild humanity's technology, starting on colony ships that are supposed to launch in a few hundred years.
