what does Sup Forums think of the rap album of the decade so far?

+great memorable production
+cohesive
+up there with lil' boat for best mumble record
+good for party background ambiance

-carti's performance is overshadowed by everything (image, aesthetic, production)
-no personality (unlike LUV and Yachty)

overall 6/10 he is definitely more of a cog than an artist but then again this is only his first tape

this guy nailed it.

>+great memorable production
>Oh look another trap beat
other that yea i agree

...

weh/10

Pierre Bourne tracks are standout.

Carti is lyrically weak, he needs more features or at least some strong verses to balance out the pointlessness. I know that's the appeal of the album, but it becomes overbearing. Adlib game is unmatched and his songs are definitely a lot more catchy and long lasting (Magnolia is still fire). disagree with the personality thing, he's up there with LUV, Yachty is so bland to me.

Stronger verses, perhaps more duo tracks with ASAP on his next album, will elevate him

>+great memorable production
>+cohesive
>+up there with lil' boat for best mumble record
No, no, and no

It is good party background music though

3/10, anything by Uzi or Future is better

1. impossible kid
2. honor killed the samurai
3. so the flies dont come

too bad this genre sucks

New Choppa slaps HARD, everything is subpar.

5.5/10

Not gonna listen

>+great memorable production
i literally don't remember anything about it

it must be a trash decade, or you've listened to no other rap albums

>up there will lil' boat
>implying lil boat is anywhere "up there"

>rap album of the decade
>doesn't rap
Really makes you think

You only like listening to ""lyrical"" and ""alternative"" rap so of course you don't like the genre faggot

>he only listens to 'good' rap
>he's a faggot
nailed him

nah dude, I don't like the genre because rappers are write retarded lyrics about the same subjects over and over with albums that despite having 40 different musicians involved never earn their hour+ of runtime

You just outed yourself as a downie that only likes intentionally bad pop

im ready to be disregarded for making a typo

Future is about as mundane as you can get

Not one project dude. MAYBE 56 Nights

Before I was familiar with Drake, this looked really promising to me.

>because rappers are write retarded lyrics
i mean, you don't deserve any better.

The first time I heard Drake I thought it was just Lil Wayne doing a gay voice
