All modern "classical"

...

hey it has pianos

Morton Feldman
Eliane Radigue

I guess Aphex Twin is classical now as well

Music for 18 Musicians

Conlon Nancarrow

>I guess Aphex Twin is classical now as well
'Classical' is just a fence put up around certain music to keep the plebs out.

Kind of true but Reich is actually good

Does "art" music from third world countries count?

If so all gamelan and raga

Nah, that's "armchair ethnomusicologist"-core (aka hampus-core)

Go to RYM and look at everything labeled "Modern Classical"

try to keep it somewhat obscure guys

thanks for the recs

all of those albums are good though, although if the chart is meant to be reflective of the average listener of them then yeah I'm with you

>Brian Eno - Music For Airports
Hey this is not bad, very chill. Not classical though.

>Brian eno
>somewhat obscure
Also I've never seen anyone who listened to Brian eno, Dennis Johnson or eliane redigue say that they listen to classical. Dennis Johnson and eliane redigue come up in minimalism threads and nobody claims to listen to more than minimalism
