Two days ago someone got into my room through my patio door and stole a lot of things in my house. I had renters insurance and when I first signed up, I bought an Apple Watch Edition which was 12,000 and had extra protection on the policy for this. I ended up not keeping the watch, but never took it off my insurance. I provided the reciept, photos, and serial number to the insurance company. Do insurance companies really go into investing if something was returned after they have pictures of the item? Will they call apple to investigate the watch or is this something they wouldn't do? I have never had a claim and I have had my insurance for over a year.

Yes

Insurance Fraud is a felony. Are you willing to risk it?

no, if you've got proof of purchase and serial numbers, and those serial numbers are not already on the police database then you're good to go.
the main fraud faced by home contents insurance companies is multiple theft of a single item.
retards will claim one year, then a few years down the line attempt to claim a second time for the exact same item with the exact same serial numbers.these are the ones the insurance companies want/need to catch.

There's nothing that will allow them to see if it was returned though? Why would they ask for a serial number in the first place? What did they want to use it for?

your dishonesty makes baby jesus cry

Serial numbers are logged into the central police database, when they raid some thieving niggers house they can then match serial numbers to stolen items and return them to the rightful owners, that is all, nothing more.

Jesus was against usary, insurance is nothing but usary, Baby Jesus would be proud of OP

>Serial numbers are logged

should really have read " Serial numbers of STOLEN items are logged.

only stolen, not returned or otherwise.

For 12k the insurance company will do what it can not to pay you.

I wouldn't risk a felony.

You must be rich as fuck to afford 12k watch. Which makes you a dirty jew cunt for trying to swindle them.

Fuck you kike.

Okay thanks so much. Last question, one of the receipts has my order number, because I had to order it online. If you go to apples website, and go to check order status, and then put in my order number and my email, it shows that I bought it, then returned it a week later. Will they look into that possibly or not at all?

loss adjuster here, I would not eat that 12000.

Many will write off 5K max without aggressive investigation, but 12k? I'd rather see you in jail.

why would they do that?
think about it, they have the reciept, they have the photos, they know you purchased the watch.
it's not within their remit to chase up order numbers.

ok explain exactly what kind of aggresive investigation you'd delve head first into.

vendors are not obligled to hand over clients details in any shape or form, they may oblige but most won't. customer confidentiality is utmost at Apple.

Or porn shop!

>Spelling intentional

Won't take much to type in your order number, or call apple to see if it's reported stolen.

You're a theiving little jew cunt I hope you get caught.

Apple would have to allow you access to it's client database, not going to happen.

You can ask them if a serial has been reported stolen. They will answer.

ins companies are wise to op's tricks.

It's never been reported stolen until now tho. I'm just asking if insurance will look into seeing if it's been returned. I've never reported it stolen before til the other day

no they won't, anyone saying otherwise is yanking your chain

You actually bought a fucking apple watch?

>I bought an Apple Watch Edition which was 12,000
>I bought an Apple Watch Edition
>I bought an Apple Watch
>which was 12,000
>Apple Watch
>12,000

Are you fucking retarded?

It's not worth your insurance company's time to investigate something as small as as an apple watch. The only time they do that is after big stuff like a total loss house fire. That being said you're a shit bag for committing insurance fraud, and the reason everyone's rates are so damn high.

I wouldn't try it, but if you want to it *seems* safe enough.

Unless anyone from your insurance company is in the thread

Reported

I got to "bought an Applle Watch" and quit reading.

fuck yourself.

Is 12,000 still small to them?

12k Is a chunk of change. I pray to god this faggot gets caught.

You know tat you sign documents allowimg them to get that information as part of your policy?
