I was born there.
It is not a georgian territory.
It never was georgian before ussr.
In ussr stalin connected abkhazia to georgia, after ussr abkhazia started to be independent again.
For now it territory with russian citizens and kind of pro-russian (but without profits for russia). Probably will be part of Russia and everyone in Abkhazia will be glad to connect.
