When you pulled it off, did you verify the head came out?
Jacob Barnes
Yep.
William Ortiz
Google images. You will see more Lyme disease than you can handle.
Christian Young
Did,but they're talking like 1 week after a bite. This shit is instant. Wtf is it?
Charles Roberts
Yeah then you've got something. Not sure if lyme disease or not. If you do have to get Doxycycline, ask specifically for generic Doxycycline Monohydrate Capsules. It treats the same thing as Doxy Hyclate tablets, but they are much much cheaper.
Eli Ramirez
That is common for a tick. Lyme disease can remain dormant for years. Best thing to do is see a doctor.
Anthony King
It's not lyme. Lyme will have a target lesion in addition to systemic symptoms. This is a tick bite granuloma in the making. Very common to have a rxn at the site. If concerned see your pcm for a prophylactic dose of doxycycline tomorrow, or just ignore it for a few days and let it mature to see if it becomes anything more.
Samuel Garcia
I read that you can put tea tree oil on them somewhere
Nathan Phillips
Pic of tick. Def deer tick, shit lighting. Head seems intact...
But srsly can that actually happen in under 48 hours? Every timeline for everything says like 10 days or whatever
Michael Clark
Any idea how long the tick was on you? Transmission of lyme is unlikely if less than 48 hours.
David Bennett
Going by the size of it's badonkadonk I'd wager less than 2 days. There's a chart somewhere.
Nathan Lopez
Go see a Doctor user, from the looks of it you have Lyme Disease, No b.s. make an appointment asap
Nicholas Sanchez
Too big for a deer tick
Parker Adams
...
Jayden Parker
I retract my previous statement,
You're fucked mate
Jaxson Nguyen
It's an infection. You left some mouth parts of the tick in you because you were an impatient idiot and decided it was best to just pull to fucker out.
I have no idea how to fix that.
Christopher Morris
Wtf does Lyme disease even do?
i've been bitten by deer ticks and have had the 'early symptoms" (like the bite area looking like OP but worse)
And that was it... if i google the bites i get them like that all the time, but nothing else
Cameron Walker
See
Camden Carter
Lays dormant, gives you the flu and then turns you into a drooling loonie
Jason Hernandez
doctor dude, pay the money
Ryder Murphy
:^(
well im an adult now and i been getting bites like that since i was little, immunity??
Brody Flores
Get healthcare, idiot.
Michael Flores
that's a fucking target rash if i ever saw one. you one hundred percent need a doctor and antibiotics. go to the E.R. under a fake name.
Grayson Perez
>no health insurance.
So happy I don't live in the US
Jonathan Moore
supposed to use alcohol before pulling off with tweezers. That shit infected.
Cameron Bailey
Suuuure I'll just go to the healthcare store and buy a healthcare!
Just because mummy still pays for yours, doesn't mean I can afford $500/mo for that shit.
Brody Carter
save the tick and see how much it would cost to get it tested for lyme disease.
Ayden Ross
pulling it off is what retards do the best way to get rid of ticks is to use a hot matchhead, or to heat up something metallic and touch the tic with it. it'll let go on its own every time
Ryder Rogers
You don't go to a doctor for financial advice. You see a doctor improvement of life. I know it sucks not having health care, but it happens user
Nicholas Carter
Anyone?? :^(
im not OP but id like to know :^(
Josiah Adams
Or apply heat while holding with tweezers so shit doesnt leap into your eye.
See the legs all burnt up? Yeah.
Grayson Morales
Sometimes it's asymptomatic.
Noah Jenkins
>I don't have health insurance
Oh you Americans, I swear.
Joseph Lewis
go die by muslim
Parker Kelly
>Lyme disease? I wouldn't worry unless you are in the north-east that is probably an infection from the tick's head pulling off while still in you
next time you get a tick, smother it with olive oil until it detaches on its own
Benjamin Hall
New England. Was up in Maine.
Joshua Cox
Use tweezers, always. No hot matchstick, no alcohol. Just tweezers
Leo Bennett
>Pulled a fucking deer tick off 2 days ago.
Are you fucking retarded dude? Your lymph nodes are probably swollen up. Being bitten by a deer tick can lead to cardiovascular disease. Go to the fucking doctor.
$150 for walkin, $4 for generic antibiotic
Jackson White
Go die by a curable disease. :^)
Nathan Williams
Those are co-pays, you filthy nigger.
Do any of you fucks even pay for your own health insurance?
Ryan Phillips
If you have lyme disease you need to get it looked at asap man.. that shit is nothing to play with. It can kill you.
Dominic Collins
Exactly.
OP if you live in the Northeast US, definitely go to the doctor.
My ex got Lyme on our first date lmfao. It's no big deal, but hers wasnt brown/black like yours is.
Could be something worse. Ticks can carry most bloodbourne pathogens.
Carter Bennett
Yea I have obama care bronze, my deductible is $6800. You can go to the walk in clinic for ~$150.
You can get an antibiotic from the $4 list, ask for one from the $4 list.
>Do any of you fucks even pay for your own health insurance?
Coming from someone who doesn't, rofl. If you are still in school your university will have a clinic that's very cheap for students as well.
Your last option is going to the ER and giving a fake name/ fake SSN. They will put you in the system under that name and it will never get back to you. If you have a non-profit hospital in your area that's the best bet. Pretend to be homeless.
Andrew Jenkins
lol. This is actually what retards do and there's a lot of them. When you do this they regurgitate into you which increases risk of getting whatever disease it may be carrying.
Hudson Edwards
>You can go to the walk in clinic for ~$150. He needs to go to urgent care. Insects can carry parasites, you may be fine now, but some of the shit they carry will lead to early death. We're talking heart failure in your 40s.
Cameron Barnes
You're an idiot... Don't know where you go, but an emergency room visit consult (full cost, no copay, no insurance) is ~$150. I do hospital billing... They will prescribe antibiotics, ask for a generic one, they are very cheap...
Nicholas Gutierrez
lmao I remembered your ass from two days ago. stop asking Sup Forums you retard, that's how you got into this mess. go to the fucking doctor. or at least youtube
Caleb Myers
Definitely go to urgent care. You will pay 10% of what you would pay at the hospital ER.
Juan Adams
Hes right. Youre supposed to literally dig the mouth out, but its too small fir you to do it yourself. You need ti see a doctor. Sorry bruh :/
Hunter Gray
Wishful thinking.
Ryder Smith
>but an emergency room visit consult (full cost, no copay, no insurance) is ~$150.
The problem is he spent all his money on chicken tendies, xbox games, and vape supplies.
I'm just gonna repeat myself, go to a non-profit hospital ER, pretend to be homeless, give them a fake name and fake SSN. Pay cash for the antibiotics and get them filled at the hospital if you can.
The bills will never come back to you.
Grayson Powell
This
Chase Hill
Well congrats on future underlying health problems instead of going to a medical professional!
You probably pulled it out wrong and it released lime disease.
Elijah Gray
move to one of those "socialist hellholes" where porky doesn't cuck the country's citizens
Aaron Taylor
glad you're here to "this" yourself and argue with the people giving you the appropriate advice. Go to the doctor and get antibiotics from the generic list or literally roll the dice on a debilitating disease that leads to early death. Those are your choices, stop asking us to make the decision for you.
Liam Thompson
Yeah, it's fucked up user. We are the only 1st world country without universal health care.
Adrian Hill
You the guy that squeezed the tick's entire instestines while pulling it off with a tweezer ?
Anthony Garcia
>I don't have health insurance
Ah a Trump supporter I see.
Robert Rodriguez
At least took 1g of aspirine for 1 week could help + blue methylene on that shit.
Charles Turner
1g(2*500mg) per day and only aspirine nothing else...
Lucas Brown
Do not take any medication without the proper prescription from a doctor.
Just saying, the stuff that goes in fish tanks is the same exact thing that goes into pills from the doctor. Google it.

Entomologist here: It's probably not Lyme simply due to it not being in a bull's eye or ring pattern. Also you got it pretty quickly and relatively early. Normally, you have about another month before Lymes goes into full swing. The tick though does look like a dear tick (size ain't got nothing to do with it, its all about color and pattern). I'm guessing you probably either have an infection or one of the other less common diseases ticks in the united states vector. Either way, yes, you should see a doctor.
Options: Doctor ^ Clinic ^ Urgent Care^
Or try the ER, but be ready to pay for that. Either way, from my insect/arthropod standpoint I would say that yes, you need medical attention, and no, you did not leave the head in.
Gabriel James
Oh you're fucked Laddie. Tick so have been going fucking Bonkers up here in Maine. Go see a doctor.
William Fisher
Doxycycline is cheap. Pay the $100 to see a doctor and get the script
Kayden Gonzalez
if you are the op that posted himself pulling the tick off the other day, you did it wrong and squeezed all of whatever the tick had ingested into your body. you squeezed the tick wrong and this is the reaction your body is having to it. could be any bloodborn pathogen, i would go to the doctor, op.
Carson Wright
Are you the guy that posted here a couple days ago lol
Logan Martin
It looks infected. Pay the money and go to your local urgent care and get an RX for some antibiotics.
Adrian Gomez
If you got a non-profit, or charity hospital, you don't need to fake shit. The whole point is that the visit itself is covered through their internal charity stuff. The only things you have to actually pay are for the drugs, cheap, and if you have to see a specialist. Hell, i had surgery two years back, and only paid ~$700, most of it for the anesthesiologist, cause they aren't typically hospital employees.
Julian King
go to the doctor you double nigger
Julian Richardson
Find somebody who went to Afghanistan, they'll have some.
Ryan Hernandez
Forgot I had this tab open. I originally posted about morons burning latched ticks. I did not "this" myself. If you we're wrong, google tick removal cdc. Dumbfuck
Juan Brooks
>Yea I have obama care bronze,
not a thing, summerfag. Enjoy your TrumpCare solution of just wrenching it out with the wrong tool, when you could've gone and used the healthcare you have, you fucking vector.
