My vote is Bronx Tale.
That soundtrack, great characters, set entirely in one neighbourhood, great humour... I could watch this movie so many times.

>love actually
>comfiest Christmas movie

Correct answer, coming thru...
A Christmas Story

This is literally objectively objective in an objective sense.

Nonono, Die Hard is the best christmas movie. But it's not the comfiest. There's NOTHING comfy about watching McClane get his feet torn up.

They're both my only Christmas mainstays, which is going to make this year's christmas sad as fuck.

>muh nostalgia-choice

A Christmas Story sucks. It's just forced like It's A Wonderful Life, except it's got an annoying kid to boot.

>no HP

Pic related is maximum comfy, extra comfy points when watching it high

Now, that's what I call C.O.N.T.R.A.R.I.A.N!

DUDE

>nostalgia choice
>>>>comfy thread

So should I suggest Texas Chainsaw Massacre, because I've got comfy nostalgia-memories of watching it with my nan? Of course I shouldn't.

Unless there's something wrong with the person they should be able to get comfy watching Back To The future without having nostalgic memories of watching it. Same with the goonies. But there's no chance of that happening with It's A Wonderful Life or A Christmas Story, because they've been FORCED into being the movies people remember always watching with their family in the already-comfy setting of Christmas, instead of the comfy deriving from the movies themselves. It's a Pavlovian response rather than a genuine comfy quality of the movie.

I think you need to settle down, user.

>so I should suggest Texas Chainsaw...
Sure, I think Black Christmas is a comfy movie. In fact, I think lots of horror films are comfy. And if it's because of nostalgic purposes, then that wouldn't discount the film for me.

>you think that A Christmas Story is a comfy film because of a Pavlovian response
This is the most half-cocked theory I've encountered in a while.

By its very nature, the entire point of the film is to create a warm, safe, familial environment in which life is as pristine and Rockwellian as it gets.

That'll do, pig. That'll do.

Very nice, can you list more?
