I can't in good conscience say that that's true. I do think that they were on occasion just as good. Ram is certainly better than any Beatles album, but that's not credited to Wings (even though it feature's Wings musicians).

There isn't another universe where Wings are better than the Beatles, but in the shower this morning I was thinking about how rad the Venus & Mars/ Rockshow/ Jet intro at concerts is.

They're not. But Paul's solo career is definitely the best. Followed by George. John had some good stuff in the first couple years, but for the most part Yoko killed him artistically. And of course Ringo doesn't count.
