Tfw smoking 75 cigarettes a day

>tfw smoking 75 cigarettes a day

anyone here managed to quit smoking cigarettes?

you're gonna die soon

3 1/2 packs a day is old lady at the end of the bar level

I smoked a pack and a half for about 17 years before I quit, weaned myself down and then just stopped, psyching myself out to not think about it for the week or so it took my brain and body to stop wanting it, didn't smoke any more, besides weed

havent touched one in 6 years. started smoking cigars though.

Honestly I used to smoke 30+ a day until I got a vape. Not just any vape, I got the ultra super mega cloud blaster TurboFag Edition. I tried vaping before but it never really helped until I got a really hard hitting one.

I can breathe better and smell/taste again. Now if I do smoke a pack lasts me like a week.

>started smoking cigars

why?

just thought id try it. i dont smoke often.

you replaced one expensive useless habit for another, while you're saving yourself from the dangers of smoking, the faggotry grew strong in you instead

I AM A MONTH CIGGY FREE

BUT I RLY WANT ONE RIGHT NOW NIGGER

Smoked nearly a pack a day for about four years. One day I just couldn't force myself to buy another pack and I didn't smoke again for a long time. Tried one at a casino one night months after I quit and almost threw up.

retard detected.

Vaping is only more expensive in an upfront cost view. Over the long term, it's significantly cheaper.

Unless you're a massive faggot and vape almost constantly. In which case fuck you.

>i dont smoke
you don't smoke at all if you're doing it right

Yeah, for a year, than i lost my Computer/Network Tech job and started working at sprint for fallback.
Started smoking again my first week.

>Over the long term, it's significantly cheaper.
quitting is even cheaper dipshit

yea i guess not

>started working at sprint for fallback.
>Started smoking again
so you lose your job, and now have a reduction in pay I'm assuming, and you decide to start wasting money on cigarettes? derp much?

I work in a vape shop. I help people quit daily. It really is a healthier alternative. I see people daily with oxygen tanks, stomas in their throat etc. Not fun buddy. Do yourself a favor & stop by your local shop. If they have an endura kit that would be my recommendation.

I smoked a pack a day before quitting.

Here's how I quit:
Limit myself to 10 cigarettes a day for one full week.
Next week, 9 cigs.
Week after that, 8 cigs, etc...

At the end of each week, if I successfully only smoked (x amount) of cigarettes that week, I'd reward myself with something cheap on Sunday. It would usually be things I need for a hobby. Like small guitar cables or something I'd use for a future art project. It was sort of my way to trick my mind into wanting to not smoke + rewarding myself for the money I saved by cutting back.

I know the amount of cigs you'll have to cut back on will be different than mine since you smoke more than I do. But quitting smoking is possible for anyone who actually wants to quit. Good luck!

>It really is a healthier alternative.
It is

vaping is the best alternative for weak minded people that can't stop sucking on things

Listen to the wet pneumonia-like cough of someone dying of lung cancer. Get it stuck in your head. Think of how feeble a person like that is.

how the fuck?

Quit two years ago.
>cold turkey

All the advice in the world on Sup Forums won't help without the desire and will. Research it, read some Alan Carr.

>I usually quit once every 1.5 years, for years. About six weeks to three months into it, I'd usually have 'just one' and ALWAYS in a bar, with "friends."
>This time, I decided to not drink until I had it handled. No bars, no smoky friends.
>The only thing I like more than quitting smoking is quitting drinking.
>Ok, it's lonely to start. Drinkers and quitters are oil and water. You just stop getting invited out with old drinking buddies. And often that was the only conection, drinking.
>I feel sad and alone in a bar now.
>Outside, rebuilding my life.

So yes, quitting smoking may be a life changing experience. Are you up for it.

or throat cancer

that's how my friend died from smoking like a chimney, it's a gamble

>the desire and will

this is what it comes down to

people that don't successfully quit, don't really want to

this was true for me. i smoked for twelve years and it honestly doesn't feel much different quiting than does changing any other bad habit. it's hard yea but can be done.
