moist vagina/marijuana

pretty much sums up grunge perfectly

Serve the Servants without a doubt

I wondered when I was in my teens that if In Utero flopped Kurt might still be alive. Today I know it's probably no, but still an interesting concept.

Do Re Mi

Damn shame we never got a studio version.

Old age.

courtney would've killed him either way

Pennyroyal Tea

Milk It

it's this

it's ''DIVE DIVE DIVE DIVE IN MEEEEEEEEE''

Negative Creep

Blew

what's the best cobain solo? I think it might be sappy

Sang that out loud.

Mrs. Butterworth

this

this, it's also the last thing he recorded ;(

Scentless Apprentice

Friendly Radio Unit Shifter

In Utero > Nevermind

Oh the Guilt

"Do Re Mi"

Sad they never recorded a full band version. I've always wanted to do it as a cover in my band, but never got around to solidifying lyrics for it (who the fuck really knows what he's saying half the time in his demos??) and figuring out other parts like drums and bass.

Fuck , I posted too soon without realizing somebody else beat me to it.

sappy definitely
desu that's like the only solo he did that feels like an actual solo instead of playing fucking random notes, except slts

smells like teen spirit. Mu knows it and wont admit it.

All Apologies

>In Utero > Nevermind

Jesus this so much. Nevermind is too pop, but there's still a couple good ones on there. In Utero is a slam dunk though.

Good responses anons.

My top 3 is probably:

1- Moist Vagina
2- Old age acoustic demo
3- Do Re Mi
Encore- Maybe Sappy or serve the servants.

sucking warts off you're aaaaaannnnnusssssssssssss

>my two favorite nirvana songs will never have studio releases

COME ON OVER AND DO THE TWIST

TRUTH
COVERED IN SECURITY
I CAN'T LET YOU SMOTHER ME

[...] AND I GOT THIS FRIEND YOU SEE

If you must
Even in his youth demo
Verse chorus verse
Very ape
Lithium

The man has a lot of great songs under his belt

Love Buzz
The Man Who Sold the World
Oh Me
Lake of Fire
Where Did You Sleep Last Night

Oh wait none of those are his songs, weird

Thats why I Listen to the Devonshire mix

it's easily frances farmer

If by verse chorus verse you mean sappy and not the other one, then i agree completely

butch vig slts is shit tho

sappy or marigold (even tho its dave)

VCV is good though

wait marigold is dave singing?

Yeah it is

it is, but I prefer sappy, it seems more heartfelt to me.
that's just my opinion though.
that reminds me, opinion is very good too, it's a pity there's no studio release

what the fuck I was sure it was kurt, he has a pretty fucking similar voice

The solo acoustic version of Sliver is objectively the best

i find they sound different, but dave sounds great on that track

hmm listening again knowing it's not kurt I can hear it
fucking better voice than kurt, I don't know if he can scream like him but for singing he's way better

Bleach > In Utero > Nevermind

There all good albums though. I think Nevermind gets underrated because everyone's heard every track on it 1000 times, but the other 2 are undoubtedly better. Bleach is the most underground and truest to their punk roots of the three, where In Utero is the most developed sonically. Nevermind is an awkward, poppy middle.

underrated

Are you me?

I also enjoy this song. Shows that despite what people say kurt really can solo

...

Agreed Bleach was a great under appreciated album.
