I'm 28 so I grew up with the internet coming into my life in very formative years. When I was little, I used to work for my knowledge and look up things in the Encyclopedia whenever I had a question. I would pour into topics and memorize data. Now, in the instant information age, I can easily google any bit of info I may be curious about. I typically don't store this silly data in my head because I can always easily recall it. I think this has negatively effected my memory in general.
