>"indigenuous robots", who have their entire infrastructure and existence to owe to humans, are resentful of them after leaving >entire ideology and way of life based around blaming humans instead of themselves for their post-human predicament
So Fear of a Bot Planet is meant to be a metaphor for post-colonial Africa, right?
Alexander Edwards
Yeah but their world didn't look like a shitshow after they got rid of the humans so it's a weak link at best
Christopher Harris
No. It's based on Stanislaws Lem's story.
Bentley Reyes
The title makes the reference obvious
Angel Howard
Yes, but when the humans save them at the end the robots change their views, could you ever imagine niggers doing the same?
Jack Torres
i thought it was obvious
Zachary Bailey
>humans saving niggers In the first place
now THAT'S science fiction
Nicholas Turner
black people hadn't invented the wheel before we turned up m8
Nathaniel Reed
They didn't need to. They could fly.
Leo Anderson
WHOOSH
Caleb Harris
Blacks in North Africa and Ethiopia most definitely had the wheel for thousands of years. Chariots were popular in Egypt thousands of years ago, you don't think their neighbors, many of whom were black, would adopt that? Just because you find hunter gatherers in Africa even today doesn't mean the whole continent is like that
Aaron Hall
Sub saharan Africa did not have the wheel, they didn't even have writing systems lol
Juan Carter
>indigenuous robots", who have their entire infrastructure and existence to owe to humans, are resentful of them after leaving
>Whites come to Africa
>Didn't cared for their culture so instead colonized them and took all their resources and slaves
>kill them off with guns
>dominate their countries for hundreds of years until they create puppets as dictators to still have control over their resources (Diamonds, gold, oil)
Doesn't matter when you had to colonize them afterwards . Might as well consider it robbery
Ian Reed
This sounds like BLM faggots to me
Kayden Peterson
There were no horses or any animals like that to actually make use of a wheel in that part of the world, so they didn't use it. Wheels only appeared in parts of the world with domesticated horses, really nobody except for the Mesopotamians and Chinese invented it themselves, even Europeans took the idea from elsewhere. They had wheels in Ethiopia and North africa because they weren't isolated from the world. Same reason why American tribes didn't use the wheel: no horses. Can't really blame a society for not having the most useful pre industrial animal on the planet to power their empires.
Henry Ward
>American tribes didn't use the wheel: no horses.
>There were no hoarses in Americas until the Euros came
What?
Henry Morales
Horses went extinct in the Americas like 10-14 thousand years ago, they didn't get horses again until Columbus brought some Spanish horses with him. Europeans reintroduced the horse to the Americas when they came, this is common knowledge and you would have learned if you paid attention in history class when they explained the reasons for why native Americans were underdeveloped compared to other parts of the world, and the main reason is almost always the available animals for domestication and the environment.
Joseph Lopez
One of the main reasons the conquistadors were able too defeat the Aztecs at several battles was because the natives were terrified of and unprepared for cavalry charges because they'd never seen an animal that big being used in warfare. Hell, they'd probably never seen a war animal period, all they had was llamas. There are accounts of them running away and surrendering at the mere sight of Europeans on horseback, they must have looked gigantic and extremely intimidating.
Levi Reed
ahahaAHAHAHAHAHAhahaha tee hee
This is what limp wristed left wingers who have read Guns, Germs and Steel ACTUALLY believe
Jason Robinson
why even bother arguing with this retard. He probably thinks the world is only 5000 years old too.
Gavin Anderson
you do realise you are literally defending someone who has just regurgitated what they read in Jared Diamond's book, right?
Grayson Robinson
The lack of good animals is their excuse for not having domesticated any animals, it is not why they weren't advanced. There are a ton of primitive innovations that had nothing to do with animals that would have helped them develop.
American tribes weren't advanced because they didn't need to be. They had a ton of room that could support their small amounts of people so it was inevitable that they'd just sort of chill out.
Isaiah Hernandez
>really nobody except for the Mesopotamians and Chinese invented it themselves, even Europeans took the idea from elsewhere.
>he doesn't know Google "oldest wheel"
Carter Jenkins
Pretty much every group in Africa north of the equator had guns and written language by the time european colonialism started. You look at africa today and cities like Lagos, Nairobi, Windhoek, Gaberone, etc. have millions of people living in them and are just as modern as cities in Europe or the USA. The whole "hurr durr niggers all live in mudhuts and wear loincloths" meme is just the perpetuation of racist bullshit from idiots who like to talk about africa without knowing anything about it. There are laplanders in scandinavia that still live in fur tents and travel on reindeer sleds and nobody pretends they represent all of europe.
Sebastian Bailey
Except for all those kingdoms in Ghana and the Sahel. Fucking idiot.
Jonathan Anderson
>kingdoms

Mansa Musa is considered the richest person to ever live. That image is describing trade routes across the sahara that made a literal monopoly on the gold/salt market from the fall of the Roman Empire into the Renaissance.

Oliver Perry
conquistadores didn't defeat the Aztecs. Cortes was utterly btfo during La Noche Triste and by the time he regrouped and came back for round two everyone had died or was dying from smallpox.
Liam Stewart
Is there anyone more conceited and cringeworthy than Futurama/Simpsons writers?
I can feel the virgin salt with every line, it's like they're butthurt that the world thinks their shows are terrible.
Wyatt Morgan
>La Noche Triste I would give my left nut to see Mel Gibson direct that movie
Camden Rogers
>Lagos, Nairobi, Windhoek, Gaberone, etc. have millions of people living in them and are just as modern as cities in Europe or the USA Kinda sounds like you're the ignant one here m80. Never been to Lagos, huh?
Lucas Nguyen
Actually the reason the conquistadors were able to conquer the Aztecs is because the Aztecs were total cunts who had made enemies of literally every tribe in the region. So everyone rallied around the Conquistadors and the Aztecs got btfo.
Leftists always try to coverup the fact that most Hispanics are descended from the people who collaborated with the conquistadors and when they have no other choice they pretend that the Spanish "betrayed" their Spanish allies somehow. The fact that most of the native royalty were granted titles and assimilated into the Spanish aristocracy doesn't really go with the narrative so it gets swept under the carpet.
Henry Ramirez
This, Cortez had a few hundred cavalry, not a huge shock advantage against tens of thousands. The biggest edge Cortez had was knowing the Aztecs broke after their general died. So his tactics were to cut his way through aztec lines to the fancy feathered mexican.
Jace Allen
>Egypt >black WE

why would they need the wheel, they had starships
