How do libertarians deal with the physically challenged individuals inevitably born in any society?
Shouldn't we have taxes and a welfare state for them?
If we accept that isn't it just the logical extension to consider being a dumb nigger a disability and give them welfare too?

>Shouldn't we have taxes and a welfare state for them?
No, that's what private charity exists for. The USA led the world in giving to charity far before we ever even considered having any welfare.
David Johnson
They don't have an answer because they're autistic and follow a flawed ideology.
Libertarian < Far left < Liberal < Conservative < Somewhere in between conservative and liberal i.e. you don't ignore empirical evidence and follow out-dated rules and traditions for the sake of it.

Family support, looking after your own. If your child / nephew needs support you give it, not the State.
The only thing a State is good for is standardising things like voltages, plugs, road travel, train lines etc.

who cares? I have a classmate who is a yernie supporter and she's like "all of this around us is only possible because of government"
I honestly think that somehow; economic proclivities have been confused with government
I think it's through the "united states is best" propaganda, and because of that, people associate business with the government
Xavier Harris
Yeah I would bang it no question

The same way we do now? By charity and family.
The only thing the state does is mandate that buildings need to have access for the handicap.
Without the state the only thing that would really change is less businesses being handicap accessible. Something that hits small size places more than cities.
Now those who become disabled by job is a different story.

Families and charity. Ideally, we would be able practice eugenics and have abortions and post-birth euthanasia for them. If someone wants to be an idiot and raise a slobbering, paralyzed idiot then that's their issue. When they can't care for them then at least their misery is their own and everyone can see their example and not repeat their mistakes.
Jace Bennett
...and that is my fetish

Abortion. If the parents choose not to abort then the person is their responsibility. If supervenient disability, then family support, insurance or charity. The disabled could also seek working according to it (intellectual work for the physically disabled, simple physical work to mentally)
Camden Richardson
Yep. Unfortunately our cities have become decaying and degenerating pieces of shit.
We still have the countryside. For now

All the children in this thread who say family and charity know nothing of the real world.
theres a million reasons why family isn't always there and charities don't get funded by people voluntarily.
How would you feel if you had to depend on charity to live instead of guaranteed rights by your government.
Just drop your pretense of care for others and admit that you simply does not give a shit about others and you are not interested in having a society

You're pretty retarded, m8.
Do you think Rome, the British Empire, etc did not have societies because they didn't guarantee rights to the disabled? I'm pretty sure most feudal societies actually allowed rulers to change their heir if the first born was disabled.
Ryder Turner
No, because that's how we ended up with retarded kings

They should be put down unless privately supported.

I absolutely DO care about society. An aspect of caring about society is recognizing that sometimes the person needs to make a sacrifice for the greater good. The woman in your OP post really has nothing to offer society and will always be a net detriment. She will need to be cared for. At best, she can work in some little booth at an amusement park and answer questions for tourists and give them useful information. But how many people like that do we really need? And she'll be stuck in that capacity for her entire life. She will never move up, and some kid that could have worked that job won't get to and will have to do something else.
Same with old people. If we ever wrangle in the human population in to sustainable levels, there will be a two-child birth policy. When people get old and can no longer wipe their own ass, what should they do? Who should care for them? They will either need to be warehoused, 20 patients to one person, which will be hell, or we will develop a culture of self-sacrifice, where the old, once they can no longer care for themselves, decide it's time to go and have themselves cremated or euthanized or whatever.
I fully appreciate everything society has to offer. I just don't appreciate this culture we've developed where we subsidize the mere existence of our lowest members. I have no problem with helping people who are good or useful people in their times of need, but paying for trash to continue living and being trash? No way.

If anyone is willing to do business in a area roads will inevitably be built to transport goods. If these roads exist they will inevitably be used for transportation. IF a road is used for transportation it will inevitably attract business that will want to build their own stores along that road to funnel traffic to them. The owners of the roads will charge the businesses to connect to their roads paying for their upkeep.
If you live some place barren and remote that doesn't attract businesses not having roads is the price you pay for living away from civilization.

I wonder who puts her bra on....
In my Slavic post-communist Christian mentality they are human beings and someone should take care of them. I have visited once a place where children resembling vegetables are taken care of by the nuns. Some of the children never even open their eyes.
Yeah, I know it is easy to shout "kill'em all" but if we start killing disabled we may end one day killing those not able to solve a linear differential equation.
btw can you do it, Sup Forums?
Christopher Myers
Shut uuuuup, stupid faggot. Anything she does will be of a lower quality and slower speed than an abled person. She can't even wipe her own shithole. She can't build a house with her bare hands if needed. We certainly shouldn't allow her to breed.
She is a net detriment. A strong society can handle one of her. But you tolerate even one and then you open up the idea of allowing more of them. Then you end up with what we have now. Millions of useless dregs.
Landon Kelly

>Could you do it?
Of course. Not even being edgy, but I would choose a cold, logical "trimming down" of society over a complete collapse. I would choose extermination programs in the short-term followed by euthanasia in the long-term over what we have now, which we can all see is heading straight for disaster. Overpopulation is going to destroy the biosphere. Niggers, poo-in-loos and chinks are going to overrun the planet. There will be a lower order of civilization when that happens, and we have only ourselves to blame because we became soft, like women, and allowed our compassion to overrule our better judgment. And do you think we will be any less miserable then? Would you not choose a quick, violent death over a slow demise with a painful brain tumor?
Andrew Phillips
Whether or not a person wants to raise a child born with disabilities who will spend its entire life being completely dependent on handouts, is up to that individual. Society should be under no obligation to invest tax dollaras on a potato.

Those stumps are pretty unaesthetic desu. Why doesn't she remove them? They don't even seem to help much with movement, they're just hanging in the air
Robert King
>we may end one day killing those not able to solve a linear differential equation.
i have a disability that makes me retarded at math. literally on the other hand im absurdly gifted with music and mechanical thinking.
i still offer more than a child that cant even open its eyes. and since i ride a motorcycle ive told my family if i ever become a vegetable to yank the plug and let me die.
they probably should be killed 2bh. in a simpler time theyd have been thrown in a lake. but no i couldnt be the one to do it
Eli Thomas
It really wouldn't help much to remove them, so she decided to keep what little she had. Besides, her boyfriend might just have a fetish for that king of stuff.
Joseph Young
>instead of guaranteed rights by your government. They're actually privileges not rights. A good example is Social Security. The US government could tomorrow vote to end social security and not pay out another cent. Everyone who has paid into it to date will not get another penny out.
The above scenario is completely legal.
Rights do not stem from government. Every person has three rights: Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The government can help protect these rights or they can try to deny a person them, however these rights remain with the person despite the government's best efforts.
Charles Gutierrez
parents problem.

In simpler times they would probably die out of hunger, disease or some invader.
I do not think really disabled people can breed and have healthy offspring. At least not here.
