Jesus fucking christ are you pooteenists still making these sad generals? Literally nothing is happening. Its likely nothing much more will happen.
Assad only has support from the Shia minority. Its impossible for him to recapture Syria. America/Sunnis continually funds the rebels. The only solution for the Doofus of Damascus would be Russian ground deployment But St Pooteey hadnt the balls.
Carson Rivera
So what happens when Iraq defeats ISIS? Will they push into Syria?
Brody Phillips
war with the krg maybe if the kurds go full independence

Curious: is the SAA as completely out of manpower as I assume? To mount any sort of offensive it's all Iranian troops, right?
Theres no actual Iranian army soldiers, its all militias
And no, not really, still plenty of SAA left. Not an infinite amount, but plenty.
Many offensives are supported by militias in Aleppo city support is often Al-Quds brigade (Palestinians) for example near Palmyra theres been Liwa al-Fatemiyoun (afghanis)
Latakia battles are usually all Syrian. Desert Hawks, SSNP, NDF, SAA Deir Ezzor is all Syrian, SAA+Republican Guard Qaryatayn and Dumayr seems to have been mostly SAA too
Just a random list from memory
Jackson Hughes
>have brit friend >when ever London is brought up he calls the city a shithole and then says about its mayor "you know that cunt has connections to the triad?"
Tyler Thompson
>still plenty of SAA left what they don't have is reinforcements, something like germany near the end of ww2.
that is not to forget there are a few thousand Iranian IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) soldiers, theyre not regular Iranian military but they are Iranians
its pretty much an army, to say they are militias is silly
Robert Hall
Free of ISIS, but then the SAA, FSA, and K*rds in Syria will have to fight the bulk of them. Would not surprise me if this were to happen. I hope and pray the assyrian people are not wiped out, they already are having their homes bulldozed by the KRG.
Carson Gomez
WHY?

I got my timeline wrong, it's 4 months; but still, no greater syria... probably will not be able to bless /sg/ with Greater Syria for Christmas and New years eve.

Good luck man. I joined the Army National Guard to get an ROTC scholarship. I no longer have the scholarship and wish I had just went Navy or even active duty Army instead of one of the reserve components. I'm going to try to get a conditional release from the Guard to get into the Navy, so maybe I'll see you someday.
If Navy boot camp is anything like Army basic training, just know that everything is like 90 percent mental. I know you've probably heard that before, but you need to just forget about everything else and make friends and keep a good attitude. The first part is going to suck the worst. It doesn't get easier, you just get used to it if you try to get used to it. Don't think about home - it isn't going anywhere. Make great friends, have your adventures, and everything will be waiting for you when you get back.
Matthew Sanders
but dozens of them have died in the war
or were those just embedded as commanders in militias?

iran has Army, Militant army(basij), the Quds that ensures and protects the revolution. They don't trust in some cases the regular army and it is its own thing. If your regular to /k/ and Sup Forums and Sup Forums you should now this. All the talk about hezb and quds etc.
