>World War Z 2
I actually can't wait to see this

Let's hope more stuff from the book is included

>Wonder Woman
This one will be intriguing to see if it is praised for having a lead female along with a female Amazonian military fighting WW1 soldiers.

>Wonder Woman - Average
>Spiderman Homecoming - Good
>Thor Ragnarok - Good
>Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - Great
>Fast 8 - Great
>Transformers 5 - Good
>Pirates of the Caribbean 5 - Good
>World War Z 2 - Great
>The Wolverine 3 - Great
>Cars 3 - Good
>The Lego Batman Movie - Great
>Despicable Me 3 - Flop
>The Mummy - Good
>Beauty and the Beast - Flop
>Power Rangers - Flop
>Fifty Shades Darker - Flop
>Alien Covenant - Good
>Justice League - Great

World War Z2 won't make it in time.

>Justice League - Great
Depends. Will we see a lot more action or will it be like BvS where we will get an hour of introducing the characters with political arguments? Nothing wrong with that but just that majority of the audience will just wanna see action (which is why the Marvel movies do so well because they cut it to make sure that there is an action scene every 10 minutes - that is also how Force Awakens was compared to the Star Wars Prequels and even Empire Strikes Back which had a lot of slower scenes).

BUT please DC do not butcher the film in the editing room like you did with Suicide Squad

>>Despicable Me 3 - Flop
Not likely. That is like the only good children's film series (not counting Marvel super hero flicks) at the moment.

>Wonder Woman
Will perform decently, but critics will think it's amazing.
>Spiderman Homecoming
Won't perform well at all, will barely break box office.
>Thor Ragnarok
>Guardians of the Galaxy 2
Both will perform admirably, the latter moreso, but they'll never break Deadpool.
>Fast 8
>Transformers 5
>Pirates of the Caribbean 5
These three will perform moderately but the critics will abhor them.
>World War Z 2
Meh
>The Wolverine 3
Will perform very well, critics will probably dick ride it too.
>Cars 3
>The Lego Batman Movie
>Despicable Me 3
Kids will easily keep these afloat.
>The Mummy
Flop
>Beauty and the Beast
Flop
>Power Rangers
Will be about the level of Ghostbusters, flip flop with people unable to decide if it flopped.
>Fifty Shades Darker
The vagina moistness will keep this afloat.
>Alien Covenant
This will be excellent, but perform lukewarm and critics will hate it.
>Justice League
Will perform well, but critics will loathe it.

Flop
>Power Rangers
>The Lego Batman Movie
>Fifty Shades Darker
Underperform
>Wonder Woman
>Spiderman Homecoming
>Thor Ragnarok
>Despicable Me 3
>The Mummy
>Justice League
>Beauty and the Beast
Box office success
>GOTG 2
>Fast 8
>Cars 3
>Pirates of the Caribbean 5
>Alien Covenant

won't be watching any of those

well maybe alien covenant

>Wonder Woman
>Justice League
Any day now, the DC cinematic universe will just die.

>The Mummy - Good
I am hoping for this to be amazing.

From the behind the scene images, this looks great and the casting of Sofia Boutella is a 10/10.

Even if they follow the plotline of the 1999 Mummy with Tom's character going to the desert, bringing home artifacts or something which makes the new Mummy haunt and plague his city (it looks like it based on the leaked photos) then I am all okay with this. I just hope it doesn't turn into a CG fest and hope that a lot of practicals is used.

It's Based Tom anyway so I expect some great practical stunt work

>Spiderman Homecoming
>Won't perform well at all, will barely break box office.
Dude it is Spiderman... Spiderman will sell big time to all countries

>Despicable Me 3
Wait a second, hold the phone, they're making ANOTHER one? I would say it will be a flop, but it will probably be a success because of all the stupid kids throwing their money at those yellow tic tacs.

>Any day now, the DC cinematic universe will just die.
I fucking hope not because then we will never see Affleck's Batman movie.

They really should have changed the film schedule.

Honestly I am not excited for Justice League but I am a bit for Wonder Woman (seeing the whole new beach origin with Chris Pine and those plane scenes).

I am very excited for Aquaman which is directed by James Wan.

>Shazam
>Cyborg
get rid of these films and do a Harley Quinn spin off or Harley/Joker/Batman spin off

lego will not flop lmfao

The reboot a while back did shit.

Im going to kill myself

>Wonder Woman
It'll do well in box office. Probably GotG money. Critics and audience will love it.
>Spiderman Homecoming
Will do extremely well. Critics and audience will love it.
>Thor Ragnarok
Probably do Thor 2 money. Will have slightly mixed reviews.
>Guardians of the Galaxy 2
Will make more than GotG. Critics and audience will love it, but it won't be better than the first one.
>Fast 8
Will do well in box office because normies love explosions and cars now. Won't do Fast 7 money because it's not piggybacking off that guy's death. Will be shit.
>Transformers 5
Will be shit, but makes a fuckton of money because China and normies.
>Pirates of the Caribbean 5
Will flop and be a critical failure. The audience will be more positive than negative but still mixed.
>World War Z 2
Will do slightly well. Won't be better than the first one.
>The Wolverine 3
Won't do Deadpool numbers, but will be better than Deadpool
>Cars 3
Will flop.
>The Lego Batman Movie
Less than The Lego Movie money, but it'll be nice.
>Despicable Me 3
Will flop.
>The Mummy
Basic Tom Cruise movie money. Won't be better than the originals.
>Beauty and the Beast
Will be mediocre and flop.
>Power Rangers
Nostalgia will save it. Will be shit though.
>Fifty Shades Darker
Flop and will be shit.
>Alien Covenant
It'll be good until the third half like Prometheus. Won't flop though.
>Justice League
The movie will be mediocre and reach a billion if it's not shit. Won't do Avengers numbers. Probably CW numbers.

Reminder that Despicable Me 1 and 2 are good family films. It's the Minion shit that's fucking garbage and oversaturated. Despite those fuckers Gru's interactions with the girls is great.

You forgot Blade Runner 2

>Harrison Ford
>Ryan Gosling
>Jared Leto

I am super pumped for this

Exactly. Marvel could literally release a video of paint drying, call it Spiderman, and earn millions at the box office.

Are you kidding? Is this real?

Please say yes.

Holy shit it's real.

>Lego Batman
>Flop

You must not have seen The Lego Movie, user... Normies love this shit.

"The Amazing Spider-Man" was a box office hit with $700 million worldwide. It was "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" that underperformed because the budget escalated due to Sony's attempts to jumpstart a cinematic universe.

Even Marvel can't save Sony from being Sony. They fucked up with ASM, why would this be any different?

Harrison Ford is on a mission to destroy all of his legacy. Not content with Star Wars and Indiana Jones, Ford is still searching for movies to fuck-up with his crotchety old-man persona. Last seen frothing at the mouth on the set of Blade Runner II.

This is a man to admire.

>tfw you look at that list and realize it's another year of hardly going to the cinema

This.

TASM1 was alright. Not good, but also not bad. Did well in box office.

TASM2 was complete garbage and that was the only reason it did terrible.

>"The Amazing Spider-Man" box office: $700 million worldwide
>The Amazing Spiderman 2 box office: $700 million worldwide

ASM2 wasn't a flop. I prefer it though compared to ASM1 (I hated to see a new Dr Connors as Lizard when that should have been a Spiderman 4 and ASM2 should have been a spin off and the sequel being the Sinister Six movie hence the ASM2 after credits scene).

But instead we have to get a new shitty rebooted Spiderman in the Avengers...

>Wonder Woman
More well-received than BvS and SS, but still middling reviews and a solid box office of roughtly $600 million

>Spiderman Homecoming
Box office hit and well-received by critics.

>Thor Ragnarok
Solid box office, in the $700 million wheelhouse, mixed to positive reviews.

>>Guardians of the Galaxy 2
Massive hit, probably will break $1 billion. Very well-received by critics.

>Fast 8
Mixed to positive reviews, massive box office hit.

>Transformers 5
Scathing reviews, massive box office.

>Pirates of the Caribbean 5
Mixed reviews, will underperform slightly.

>World War Z 2
Won't happen.

>The Wolverine 3
Mixed reviews, solid box office.

>Cars 3
Box office hit, mixed reviews.

>The Lego Batman Movie
Box office hit, positive reviews.

>Despicable Me 3
Solid box office and reviews.

>The Mummy
Mixed reviews, solid box office.

>Beauty and the Beast
Box office hit, positive reviews.

>Power Rangers
Underperform. Mixed reception.

>Fifty Shades Darker
Underperform. Scathing reviews.

>Alien Covenant
Great reception, moderate success.

>Justice League
Shitty reviews, but will break $1 billion, though it still won't do Avengers numbers.

You forgot about Jumanji!

imdb.com/title/tt2283362/

>TASM1 was alright.
That was almost garbage

>TASM2 was complete garbage
That was a great film for me. I loved the new Goblin design and the actor who played Harry

ASM2 was a flop, bro. It was way more expensive than ASM, but barely passed it.

>people thinking Cars 3 will do well
Friendly reminder Cars came out in 2006 and kids who loved it are now teenagers

>Fast 8
No Paul Walker = DROPPED

Probably power rangers or cars 3

Dear lord the film industry is in absolute shambles.
>more superhero movies
>more fucking remakes and unnecessary sequels

That's literally all this list is, and I'm sure they will all do phenomenally at he box office.

I may check out alien just because I trust Scott as a director, but I'll definitely be waiting for reviews to come out first.

There's honestly about 3 people in Hollywood who still know how to make an original idea and not rehash shit that came out 5 years ago. It's honestly saddening.

At least Nolan has a new film coming out in July. Woot.

Wonder woman will flop mostly due to feminists self hate and pop culture hating Zionists

Transformers 5 will flop because even Marky Mark can't save it.

Z2 will be a bland sequel that pit and company will shamelessly shill on a ghost busters level and still flop

Fifty shades .. will probably break a flopping record

And the rest will do fine

>Power Rangers
Why the hell did Cranston have to become a meme actor when he could have been a great dramatic actor: continuing roles like Breaking Bad but instead he decides to do this shit...

>cars 3
>success

After The Good Dinosaur flopped and seeing as how everyone sees Pixar on a visible fast decline and everyone fucking hated Cars 2, I don't see it performing well.

>implying feminists are going to praise a movie which stars a skinny white women
yeah I know how the reviews for Wonder Woman will be

Cars 2 still made a shit ton because of all the merchandise they released. Its the reason why they're making a third Cars

Probably will make around 600 Million the same as Monsters University

Pirates, Wolverine, Power Rangers and WWZ 2 will underperform.

Beauty and the Beast, Cars 3, Despicable Me 3, Furious, Transformers and Fifty Shades will go their usual ways of success.

Thor will be okay, it'll be the first Thor movie to be critically acclaimed. Spiderman will do fine aswell.

WW will be the first success of the DCEU, great buzz and box office numbers.

Alien Covenant will be the surprise hit, the Fury Road of 2017.

Guardians will be the first Marvel movie without Iron Man to reach a billion. Based Gunn and all that.

Lego Batman and The Mummy could go either way.

I have no idea with Justice League, it will rank in some cash, but other than that I've got nothing.

>more superhero movies
Are you just memeing or have you been living under a rock?

>This list is old and some movies on here have been cancelled

If the trend of this year will continue, anything that isn't made by Disney/Marvel will flop.

You know, what is going to happen after Pixar releases Cars 3? Again, everyone knows Pixar is just turning into Dreamworks 2.0 and Cars 3 certainly won't help change this belif. Basically what is Pixar going to be doing by let's say 2020?

Flopping: Wonder woman.
The mummy
Power rangers

What I hope will flop but will do great:
Despicable me 3
The lego batman movie.

Wonder woman makes me the most sad.
Why didn't they cast Gina Carano or any woman that actually looks powerful?
Gal has a very pretty face, but her model body doesn't look anything like wonder woman. She has powerful thighs and a lower body. The definition of thick. Hourglass figure. Seeing as this movie could give a generation of women and girls inspiration, I'm sad if it will fail.

>The Wolverine 3
The last Hugh Jackman Wolverine movie before a reboot with possibly Zac Efron (This film is going to be real emotional).

And the day I dread when X Men joins Marvel's Avengers...

>Wonder Woman
>World War Z 2
>The Mummy
>Beauty and the Beast
>Power Rangers
>Fifty Shades Darker
>Alien Covenant
>Justice League

>Fantastic Four 2

Are they actually going through with another confirmed waste of money, the first Fantastic Four was dead on arrival.

No that one has been cancelled

Don't forget that 2017 will also feature the return of tv Kino

>every episode directed by David Lynch
The Gods have spoken!

>>Not posting the most current version

see pic

Cars 3 still comes off from a very successful franchise and of course kids will drag their parents to that shit
If it does get shit reviews which it most likely will then I kinda see it making maybe 400-500 Million since Transformers 5 comes out the following week.

>Ant-man and the Wasp
thank God I thought it was just going to be the Wasp. I can't wait to see Ant-man again

>tfw every movie that comes out next year is capeshit, a sequel, a reboot or a remake

>untitled spiderman animated movie
the hell is this?

no reason to be outdated then

Flop
Fast 8
World War Z 2
Wolverine 3
Mummy
Power Rangers
Fifty Shades Darker
Justice League
Thor

Underperform
Wonder Woman
Spiderman
Despicable Me
Alien Covenant

Success
Guards of Galaxy 2
Pirates of the Caribbean 5
Cars 3
Lego Batman
Beauty and the Beast
Transformers 5

>toy story 5
>cars 4
>incredibles 3
>finding nemo 3
>occasionally film with unnecessary female protagonist

I'm pretty sure that's pixars schedule for 2020-2024ish

>Spiderman: Homecoming (Sony)
It's Disney now

Inhumans has been taken off schedule, and Gambit.

yes
no
no
nooooooo
nope
no
no
maybe
possibly
hopefully
yes
probably not but hopefully
yes
yes
hell yes
nope
yeah
yes

I hope Cyborg get cancelled and he just has an appearance in the Flash movie so DC can make a more important film in that time slot

Literally no audience member knows who Cyborg is

Is this post autism?

Produced by Disney but Sony still holds the distro responsibilities.

Speculation on the Fox Marvel movies next year?

I actually have literal autism so yeah

Lmao

you're being way too fucking generous to some of these movies, user.

>>World War Z 2
>$450 to $500M, will do super well in China
The first one didn't play in China. are you basing this on anything?

Minions are great. I don't want these films to stop being made.

>World War Z 2 - Great

nigga wat the first one was awful

All of them. The age of movies is over.

>Wonder Woman
Underperform. DC Universe lost so much confidence in its audience this year
>Spiderman Homecoming
Underperform. They went full Ghostbusters on the cast and its gonna alienate many people
>Thor Ragnarok
Underperform. The first two Thor movies didn't make that much and that was at the peak of capeshit
>GOTG 2
Success due to Chris Meme Pratt
>Fast 8
Success. HOWEVER if China's box office numbers are low then it might just underperform
>Transformers 5
Same with Fast 8
>Pirates of the Caribbean 5
Underperform. Nobody gives a shit about that series anymore and Johnny Depp isn't as big as he used to be
>The Wolverine 3
Underperform. The first two Wolverines weren't that successful. If it gets negative reviews then it might flop
>Cars 3
Success thanks to a shit ton of merchandise
>The Lego Batman Movie
Success given its small budget
>Despicable Me 3
Modest success. Definitely won't make as much as the previous two
>The Mummy
Modest success. Too bad this could jump start Brendan Frasers comeback
>Beauty and the Beast
Could be as successful as the Jungle Book or The Legend of Tarzan.
>Power Rangers
Flop. Nobody gives a shit about this even with the nostalgia factor
>Fifty Shades Darker
Flop. The popularity already died a while ago
>Alien Covenant
Modest success since there's not much promotion for it
>Justice League
Underperform. It'll get shit reviews and probably make less than BvS

>green lantern Coprs

Green Lantern coppers? Well I get they are space cops.

They are going to bitch it to shreds is what I'm saying. They simply will not allow it despite it being everything they claim to want in a movie.

The only movies there I plan to see in the cinema are GotG vol.2 and Power Rangers.

The rest of them sound like shit/the franchise is shit/they stink of Hack Snyder.

>power rangers

I want to see the train wreck/childhood shitting on first hand.

I'd feel bad if I pulled another Dredd and end up really enjoying the movie but never supported it at the cinema.

Fifty Shades Darker will not flop. Don't underestimate the number of elderly women who wait for shit like this.

Pirates of the Caribbean 5 is like Harry Potter. Brand recognition is more important than Johnny Depp at this moment.

>Too bad this could jump start Brendan Frasers comeback
How is that a bad thing? And no, it won't. Just look at van Damme. Even a fairly large role in a major movie won't do the job anymore.

>being unaware of neil gaiman's masterpiece about the cosmic entities

pick up your shit and leave

>Wonder Woman
it will perform well because it actually looks good and the feminists will eat it up
>Spiderman Homecoming
With bad reviews it will underperform a bit, with great reviews it will hit a billion easy
>Thor Ragnarok
It'll do well. If the Hulk is included in marketing, I could see it performing pretty greatly.
>GOTG 2
People have been clamoring for more Guardians since the first one was released, so it will do greatly
>Fast 8
Furious 7 only did well because of Paul Walker, so I think this won't do near as good of business as 7, but it's not going to be horrible
>Transformers 5
Shit domestic, amazing international. Also, a lot of the promotional materials look interesting. I don't know, I felt that was important to add.
>Pirates 5
FLOP. With all the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard nonsense and Depp doing horrible films, unless this is a big comeback for him or it gets great reviews, it's not going to do well at all.
>WWZ2
This movie is surprisingly pretty popular with normies, so I think it'll do well, underperform a bit, but do well.
>Wolverine 3
It's R-rated this time, so it's not going to hit a billion probably, but I don't think Fox is expecting that. It'll do well. I'm actually excited for it.
>Cars 3
Kids will eat it up. But, with Good Dinosaur flopping, Pixar may have another flop.
>LEGO Batman
I don't think it will do well financially, but I'm loving the trailers, so I think it'll do fantastic critically.
>Despicable Me 3
Same thing as Cars, but Minions are still big, so it might underperform but is far from being a flop.
>Mummy
FLOP. Tom Cruise could make it a bit of money, but it's not going to even have the pleasure of underperforming.
>Beauty and the Beast
It's early in the year, and live-action musicals have no competition really, and it's Disney, so it's going to do really well. I'm excited for it since BATB is one of my favorite Disney films and one of my favorite stage musicals.
>Power Rangers
Underperform big, but not flop. (1/2)

>Fifty Shades Darker
Ghostbusters type of flop.
>Alien Covenant
Unless reviews save it, big underperformer.
>Justice League
Bad reviews, it'll underperform but not flop, kind of like BvS. If it has great reviews, it'll top a billion easily.

I've heard that DC is letting Snyder do what he wants but with a lighter tone, which means that we could be getting a 3-hour Justice League movie with the tone of that trailer.
