A time you enjoyed wasting is not a wasted time.

Delete

17-22 are not the best years for a man

Those are the best years for a woman

>youth is not the best time for a man

but ah yes I'm sure a bright future at mcdonalds awaits a man who wasted his youth.

the people who work at mcd at that age are women

What do men at that age do

Don't be dense. The best time for a man is his late 20s when he has the capital and standing to do whatever he wants while being able to fuck women in that college age range - all while still being in physical prime.

manage mcd

Go to college?

>where he has the capital

oh right.the capital he amassed during his early 20's from posting on Sup Forums and playing videogames?

>standing

Ah yes the standing he amassed as a NEET?

I spent my best years having panic attacks to attend college, I was hell but it was the right thing to do.

Just because you're worthless doesn't mean the rest of us are.

literally me

The OP clearly said he wasted his time.

And that's the case for most users of this board. You might be roleplaying or new but highly ambitious people who become successful by late 20's as you said don't tend to be the same crowd that posts on Sup Forums

I've been posting in this pile of shit for 11 years, and I know a lot of people who also use Sup Forums regularly.

They've done better for themselves on average than the general population. That being said, I don't know anyone else that's ever posted on this board regularly, most of them post on boards that deal with specific hobbies and interests, whereas this board is mostly just shitposting.

Why would a successful person or anyone truly results-driven ever spend time on Sup Forums?

>your best years (17-22)
lmao, r u grill?
Life for men starts getting good from late 20s onwards, so stop being a bitch :^)

>Wasted

Speak by yourself :^)

Because the people here share my sense of humor and the socialization is entirely optional and without consequence.

Are you ebin larper or honestly this mentally ill, leaf? I can't tell sometimes.

If you're trying to measure success in wealth, I promise you, you will NEVER be happy. Everybodies journey is different, stop all the self flagellation and trying to keep up with the Joneses.

(Spoiler: you're right, since you're posting here constantly and have mental issues you'll never be """a success""" in the way you percieve it)

t. knower

>sense of humor

What sense of humor is that? Posting retarded "memes" day-in day-out? Posting things just for the purpose of being offensive and getting replies?

Sup Forums is pretty mainstream, it's not your sekrit club.

Yes, but mostly the last bit.

Do you generally equate being successful with being a good person? Because I don't.

never heard of him.

>Do you generally equate being successful with being a good person? Because I don't.

Good is too subjective so no I don't. But I really don't see what a well-adjusted person would ever get out of this website. Take this board for example. It literally consists of:

>Generals (and many of them)
>Flag roleplay
>SHART
>Easter?
>Porn
>Homosexual threads
>Trap threads
>Calling people niggers
>Loaded questions

I didn't say it was sekrit? I said it was a complete shithole devoid of any value for anyone.

Well we have to ask the question, what role does Sup Forums fulfill in someone's life?

What does this website do better than other websites? What does this website do better than other uses of time?

Besides being a great place to shitpost, it serves absolutely no value and isn't better than anything else. Unless you're going to say that shitposting is great and peoples' life goals have Shitposting as a major feature I think we can reach a consensus here.

This place makes me happy. I like shitposting. Stop being so autistic.

:^)

You said that there's no reason succesful people would visit this place for some reason, it's just a discussion board like the billion other ones out there, except anonymous so you can spout shit without getting fingers pointed at you personally.

Posting on Sup Forums doesn't mean you're a NEET, that's just a mocking stereotype, this site is far too popular today with millions of hits per month to represent its users like that anymore, except maybe /jp/ users.

>enjoyed
Speak for yourself laddo

So you were just a roleplayer pretending to be successful?

What part of this site makes you happy? Is it the "I'm depressed and i want to kill myself" threads, the pictures of engorged black penises, or the dozens of generals?

I didn't say you had to be a NEET but this website is definitely one of the more toxic and pessimistic/nihilistic ones on the internet.

Even if you're just doing it for "le funnie banter and shitposting" what do you think the possible effects of constantly reading garbage, usually even 1-sentence long shitposts has on your thinking patterns?

Make up for it by having 40 children.

same

>you've spent your youth in the golden age of memes and internet
>mfw now the normies are trying

It's a great place to feel social and somewhat connected to others without needing to take any risks since it's all anonymous and mostly disposable.

>what do you think the possible effects of constantly reading garbage, usually even 1-sentence long shitposts has on your thinking patterns?
I definitely agree with you there as someone who only casually started visiting this board this week (I used to use it when I was a bit younger but that was years ago) I definitely a slight effect on my thinking patterns

Joke's on you, I'm 25

>If you're trying to measure success in wealth, I promise you, you will NEVER be happy.
>t. poorfag

>best years (17-22)
Your best years are 15-25, you still got time

It does this too. I agree with the first response. Time enjoyed isn't time wasted. Life is short.

>Wasted
Sup Forums is better than real life here that is for sure.

you're not connected to anyone here.

You're not forming connections or building even the most vague relationships.

Yeah life is short. So think about whether you'll look back fondly on an anime imageboard when you're old.

>on the internet
>not connected
you are literally connected to them

Ah yes. Truly building meaningful business connections and life-long friends you can call on when you're having a problem.

How'd your Sup Forums birthday bash go?

Why spend the rest of your life alive?
Things never get better, only worse. Nobody loves you, you always are fucking up, and you can never feel happiness.
Suicide is the true path.
I intend on doing it soon, very soon.

>business connections
wow what a fucking faggot, is this what you think life is about?

Exhibit A

What relationships are you building on Sup Forums?

>what role does Sup Forums fulfill in someone's life?
entertainment, escapism
>what does this website do better than other websites?
anonymity, dissenting opinions

Everyone needs some downtime senpai. It is an addiction, but that can be extrapolated out to p much all digital interactions. Normies fucking love their book of faces.

If you think everyone here is a loser, you're wrong. I prefer to think of us as misfits. Also I made myself seriously unhappy during my twenties pinning all my ""success"" on material wealth and comparing against my peers. Also beating myself up for wasting time, just like you are now.

Trust me, happiness is way more important than success, and success CANNOT be measured in wealth.

The opposite actually, not that it matters. We're all anonymous here.

>If you're trying to measure success in wealth, I promise you, you will NEVER be happy.
>The opposite actually
Do you mind paying me for some food?
I haven't eaten anything in two days.

>tfw have an interview at GE tomorrow

Wish me luck lads I may just evolve from a wagecuck into a careercuck

>looking for a gf on Sup Forums of all places
wew lad you're further gone than I thought

>ib4 the job is transferred to Mexico

Ha well, that's the flipside. We all need money to survive, and actually more than that, toys/holidays/nice things are fun, too. My point was there is more to life than luxury, toys and holidays. Money should not be the be all end all, the reason you wake up in the morning. More a means to an ends.

Ironically it's the stuggle that often puts the metaphoric hunger into your belly for money into the first place. If you don't have that hunger, don't force it is what I'm saying. Figure out what makes you happy and go from there

>careers in current year
Dinosaur thinking.

>tfw spent ages 17-21 as a near-chad with a life and good self-esteem
>tfw started posting on Sup Forums at 21 and now a depressed, self hating loser

>>what role does Sup Forums fulfill in someone's life?
>entertainment, escapism

Escapism is a self-destructive coping mechanism. You still have all the problems you avoided only they're generally made worse.

>>what does this website do better than other websites?
>anonymity, dissenting opinions

>Anonymity
That's not a good thing. That just means people shitpost nonstop because there's no standards and it's hard to ban when you can restart a router and go at it again.

>Dissenting opinions

You mean perpetual cynicism?

I wouldn't say typing LEAF/chink/pajeet/POO/SHART/cuck/nigger/fag/jew/non-white/subhuman/kike/retard/degenerate/nigger/jew/cuck/sjw/faggot ad-nauseum to be dissenting opinions that are valuable.

>If you think everyone here is a loser, you're wrong. I prefer to think of us as misfits.

Oh yes. I'm sure non-losers spend everyday calling people niggers and debating who's white or nonwhite and talking about how they want to die (but never actually kill themselves because they always come back to make a thread the next day).

And I'm sure an even bigger audience of nonlosers reads the posts.

>Also I made myself seriously unhappy during my twenties pinning all my ""success"" on material wealth and comparing against my peers. Also beating myself up for wasting time, just like you are now.

I literally never said anything about material wealth.

The idea I'm getting across is that this website is useless except for shitposting and you will NEVER regret spending too little time on Sup Forums.

>Trust me, happiness is way more important than success, and success CANNOT be measured in wealth.

Never said it could. But are people truly happy here? The constant "tfw no gf", neet threads and "I'm depressed I want to kill myself" seem to paint a slightly different picture.

>
>The opposite actually

He said you're being social and connected here. I'm curious what connections are made through anonymous shitposts.

>Figure out what makes you happy and go from there
I need to survive first.
I am actually serious, I'm unemployed and looking for a job, due to economic crisis, and government cuts make it impossible to get job from government agencies or even welfare, I wouldn't be asking for money for food on Sup Forums.
Sup Forums is the activist board so I usually ask there. I see Sup Forums is not so helpful haha. Sorry for bothering you.

Projection: The post
RE the >i-i wasn't meaning material success, see
you constantly make these awful posts. Beating up yourself and others.
If it's so bad.. Do like a Canadian and leaf.

I'm sorry, I didn't realise. I don't hold any crypto and don't feel comfortable sending an user paypal.. Any ideas?

Material success is always an implicit part of it, no one wants to be living paycheck to paycheck in a meme job which will likely get automated soon.

I mean yeah your right, success is subjective and I'm sure lots of people are very happy living with their parents with no money to buy anything.

>You still have all the problems you avoided only they're generally made worse.
>projecting this much
not everyone is like you, you know?

>I'm curious what connections are made through anonymous shitposts.
Why the fuck would I come here to make friends? Thats what my youth experience and outside are for.

What sort of fucking autistic loser are you?

>not everyone is like you, you know?

??? Did you not read the post I'm replying to or something?

>Why the fuck would I come here to make friends?

What do you come here to do then?

discuss various things. see what is being discussed. look for funnies that make me laugh. maybe read some cool shit, maybe read some dumb shit. You don't have to be up & at it 24/7

Everytime I open the catalog regardless what time of the day it is(except rarely when Mods are actually active and banning /r9k/ threads) it's just generals, dumb """banter""" (>[a silly event occurred in (country)] >[CITIZENS OF COUNTRY] WILL DEFEND THIS!), complaints about wanting to commit suicide, being lonely or depressed or a virgin.

Yes, but what comes first? Material wealth at the expense of living life, or as a result of doing so?
Obviously living at home with your parents and no money is no way for you to live. Not because it's actually bad, but because it's affecting your selfworth.

It's difficult if you've been bullied or had a hard life (I'm not making any assumptions btw) but try not to take such an advesarial attitude. If you put out negativity, that's what you'll get back.

Instead of focusing on getting rich, focus on what you need. Instead of focusing on what you "should" be doing, focus on what you could be doing. Try volunteering perhaps.

Shaln't be replying again, but I do wish you well, (You) abhorrant shitposter xx

>he is unironically miserable irl
lmao @ u (on the right)

I don't get this funny memay. You also have a Canadian flag, are you Chinese?

>Yes, but what comes first? Material wealth at the expense of living life, or as a result of doing so?

Why does it need to come first? You're suppose to be a well-rounded person, and generally these things come together.

It's not like life is a choice between being fat/out of shape and being well-read. Or Financially successful yet socially awkward and friendless.

>he's never seen trailer park boys
he really is a chink!

>he works at tim hortons

true

>tfw Sup Forums, Sup Forums, /r9k/, and Sup Forums helped flood Sup Forums with normies

I like Sup Forums, because it's not one of the "mainstream" boards here. At least I don't feel like it is.

What the fuck does that even mean? That it's non-stop shitposting?

jokes on you; there is no tim hortons where I live

Holy shit, how did you fucking know?Don't say another Goddamn word. Up until now, I've been polite. If you say anything else - one word - I will kill myself. And when my tainted spirit finds its destination, I will topple the master of that dark place. From my black throne, I will lash together a machine of bone and blood, and fueled by my hatred for you this fear engine will bore a hole between this world and that one. When it begins, you will hear the sound of children screaming - as though from a great distance. A smoking orb of nothing will grow above your bed, and from it will emerge a thousand starving crows. As I slip through the widening maw in my new form, you will catch only a glimpse of my radiance before you are incinerated. Then, as tears of bubbling pitch stream down my face, my dark work will begin. I will open one of my six mouths, and I will sing the song that ends the Earth

Exactly what it says there. You do speak English, right?

Those boards have the most people lurking/posting, and where most memes are exported.

>Exactly what it says there. You do speak English, right?

Yes i do speak english but I don't get what "normie" means in this context. Are the constant suicide threads and virginity surveys what makes Sup Forums so un-normie? Is that a positive element in your opinion?

no I haven't

and 17-22 isn't the best years for men

>I don't get what "normie" means in this context
Normal everyday people.

Certain connotations and images come with someone going on Sup Forums such as loners, losers, weirdos, anime watchers, trap lovers, edgelords, autists, trolls, Jews, racists, child porn watchers, etc.

Normies are the everyday people you might see if you go outside.

Can you imagine all the popular kids at your school coming here, and seeing stuff like "Traps aren't gay, because they have a feminine penis" threads?

5 years? What a loser.

I've wasted 10.

>Normies are the everyday people you might see if you go outside.
>Can you imagine all the popular kids at your school coming here

But popular kids are not normies, they're abnormal.

>they're abnormal
How so?

Because they are above average.

Being a normie means being fat, dumb, lazy and poor.

>Being a normie means being fat, dumb, lazy and poor.
Holy shit, /r9k/ better hear this then. I hope they feel better knowing they were always the normies all along.

so, by your own metric, you are a normie?

Prove me wrong.

>37 percent could name the Republican candidate for vice president, Mike Pence;

medicaldaily.com/i-hate-my-job-say-70-us-employees-how-be-happy-work-319928

Less than a third of U.S. employees were engaged with their jobs in 2014, found a new Gallup poll. Though engagement from 2013 was up by almost two percent (the highest it’s been since the year 2000), 51 percent were still “not engaged” and 17.5 percent were “actively disengaged.” Engagement means employees are involved, enthusiastic, committed to their work and workplace

Simply put, being a normie is being a loser

No I am above average in pretty much every area.

well retard?
