Decided to listen to "Journey" demo track. If I was digging such a sound I would be sure to fall in love with it but indeed I do not like that kind of music. One major thing to keep in mind - sometimes synths are quite harsh on the high end and feel quite unpleasant which I think you already got by now. The composition itself has a bit of a start which is way too slow and clunky in my opinion but when it gets there it does with a nice punch.
Umm, well. Okay, this sound isn't for me. However the rhythmic section is such a torture even though the mixing is quite fine. Those "military steps" and the usage of found sounds could be wildly improved. Also, I feel like, at least when listening to speakers, this track sounds like in a vacuum which is always troubling. If you were to go and made some more atmosphere rather than focus on the very bland and basic rhythm maybe this would do itself right at the end. But it doesn't. Which is a shame since I'm really thought this could have some potential.

In response to yeah, i think i agree with everything you said. it needs a lot of work or i might just scrap it. but what about it made you think it had some potential?
Joshua Morales
Well done texturing and mixing. Also, the idea behind the work is quite good enough
>rain sounds >tape delay >overdrive distortion >too much reverb >older songs are soft ambient pieces >newer songs are higher energy and textured

Nice flow man. The beats are pretty cool too. The mix is pretty well done. Pretty wild. I love how choppy it is. Good song, but it could use a little more variation.
