Jared is by far the coolest looking

I think Drew was the best by far

That wasn't the question, retard.

there is no single Joker characterization

the original Joker acted nothing like the silver age Joker who acted like modern conceptions of the Joker

That said. Leto's performance felt forced, what little we saw of it.

Nicholas Cage's attempt

I'LL SHOW YOU A FUCKING HOTHEAD MAN!

...

None of the above. Only Mark Hamill does it justice. I don't care how fedora it sounds.
But I guess among live action, either Nicholson or the guy from the 60's TV show. Leto was probably closer than Ledger, although Ledger was definitely better as a performance anyway.

The comics have been going on since before your grandparents shat your parents out. There is literally no possible way for one screen performance to encapsulate all of a character like the joker. Not to mention all the one off stories and odd variations.

Heath>Hamill>Nicholson>Romero>Meme Joker>Leto

The comics have varied the character over the decades, so a subjective opinion is as good as any.

I will state for the record: Jack Nicholson is the only great actor to play the role.
He brought depth to the Joker. He was menacing and actually funny. He was ruthless and self-absorbed. He destroys the Flugelheim with a smile, dancing to Prince.

Freaking awesome.

Heath's performance, which the younger set adores, is one-note: has no sense of humor, raving, dangerously insane. No depth at all. Just "I'm dangerous. Try to stop me."
Heath doesn't stand up to repeated viewings.

Just mix them all and we get the perfect joker

>Jared is by far the coolest looking
i hope this nigga is trying to troll the peeps

confirmed 13 year old vampirefreaks user

Jokah Baybee is the correct answer

Literally anything is better than Leto's Joker. Melvin is better than Leto's Joker

>heath above hamill
now just wait a minute...

>has no sense of humor

He did in the hospital. Right down to his delivery of "Hi" to Harvey Dent.

And that's the problem. It's so jarring and different people just take it as him being a twisted pyscho fuck, but it's the only part in the entire movie where he is the Joker.

>its a Joker is a deep character mang Sup Forums delusion
He's a gangster who dresses like clown, fuck right off

>Jared is by far the coolest looking

It's pretty close for me user, but lightning only strikes once and despite this boards contrarianism there is a reason Heath was praised and it wasn't just his death he was so damn good he kind of ruined super hero movie villains to this day as we are still recovering from people trying to copy the shit.

I think Hamill almost just nearly edged him out in this scene, it's so Kino it hurts my dick to watch. youtube.com/watch?v=Etst4t3ES8Y

It's obvious

Hamill is the Joker, can't be included in this because it's an instant win. When I think of the Joker, I think of BTAS and his voice.
Loved Nicholson at the time, that crazy motherfucker inceptiond me playing himself playing the Joker but it worked. He was great.
Heath, great performance, but not Joker. Also overrated because fucker is dead.
Minority, but I liked Leto. I can't have a complete opinion because it was literally too little and badly edited together. I'm on board with that kind of approach though.

what a joker

Doug

but he had le one bad day XD bazinga!

Depends on which age of comics and which your perception of the "joker" originates from. But technically, all of them are Correct

This is the best shot of The Joker in any of the films

your post would make sense if we were on 2007-2009

VF and all the edgy teenagers community™ is dead

TDK Joker was way, way fucking edgier than JokerLeto, let's not kid ourselves. Hipsters love that shit and they outnumber the guys who'd cosplay as SS Joker (mostly for their girlfriends).

Anarky Joker has been a plague that spawned obnoxious, faux philosophical retards that still thrive to this day.

This.

Two-Face is the best Batman villain but everyone ignores him in favor of le epic anarchist clown guy

Even director David Ayer wasn’t safe from Russel's twisted vision.

“One time I yelled ‘cut’ and Drew turned to me and said ‘what if someone just stood in the middle of a casino and yelled cut? Maybe then they'd forget to gamble and get in deep with the SHARKS’ My jaw hit the floor and it never really came back up. That’s when I thought, is he getting in character to play Joker, or is Joker something that’s been in him all along?”

“Sometimes i would go to look into the cameras, and I noticed Drew had put something in the lens. It was stuff like ‘Well hello beautiful. Wanna know how I got these scars?’ and ‘Lights. Camera. Baby.’ I had to ask him to stop because I was getting too scared to direct.

>And I thought MY jokes were bad

>in any of the films

>DAMAGED

haha nope

>accurate to the [source material]
who gives a shit?

How can DC fuck up all their movies even though they have 10/10 cartoons?

This man is right. Harvey Two-face is the patrician choice for the best Batman villain.

>best backstory with an actual explanation for his evilness
>best gimmick
>top tier suits

what happened to his eyebrows?

Definitely Heath Ledger. And he's the best Joker, hands down.

brendan fraiser best joker

mom said don't shave your eyebrows and he did

Silver Age Joker is the baaby one though?

Ayer shaved Leto and Margot's eyebrows for reasons. He also cut his hair and Karen's.

>Lights. Camera. Baby.

I keked

>I like riddler the most
On a level I know how fucking gay that is but I can't help it.

Daily reminder that Scarecrow is Batman's most fitting antagonist.

Am i the one who hates ledgers joker? Constantly making licking noises and being philosophical...there was no realism to that character at all either he just somehow planned all this stuff outsmarting everyone with no explanation

Sploopity sploosh nigga

...

>Hipsters love that shit and they outnumber the guys who'd cosplay as SS Joker (mostly for their girlfriends).

That's because most numales look like fat shit and would look disgusting wearing coats shirtless

I don't hate him but he's massively overrated and the less Joker-ish of them all.
His whole idealist schtick ticked me off and sounded like he had fucking dentures.

You know I used to think all these capeshit threads were made just to shitpost, but now I don't know anymore. It seems there are people out there who actually enjoy (talking about) these movies and characters.

>It seems there are people out there who actually enjoy (talking about) these movies and characters.

of course we do, it's Sup Forums, the home of autistic and lonely

Can someone explain the last one to me, I keep seeing it posted.

What was once a video posted every so often has become a full blow forced meme thanks to Leto

youtube.com/watch?v=sPpWzS3nCwM

what would happen if two-face gets a dust in his eye?

We're Sup Forums, it's what we do.

It'd hurt just like his regular one, I had thought we saw Eckhart's twoface using eyedrops throughout the movie but it turns out I was wrong.

same here.

but heres the reality, if you like ledger's joker that means you're cool while if you like leto's, people think you have shit taste.

underrated

LOOK AT THE TOP OF HIS HEAD

The Best Joker is the one who gets the chix.

It terms of how close they were?
Nicholson > Leto > Ledger > meme.

The closest Joker to the one in the comics AT THE TIME, was Cesar Romero. Hands down. He was perfect as the Joker from the silver age, when the Batman series was airing.
None of the others come close at capturing any of the comic versions, especially the ones that were current at the time the movies came out.
Nicholson barely makes the top of THAT list. His Joker was a sort of catch-all portrayal. But even then he was just acting like himself.

They still haven't done a proper Bane as well, Big Guy Bane was a lackey with no real end game while comic book Bane was competent and calculated as fuck.

I don't know why,but after watching the film the i have had this feeling that these music from the film scarface could fit with the joker vary well,
maybe it is because of his gangsta style in the film, what do you guys think ?
maybe the next file could be joker's version of scarface ?
youtube.com/watch?v=vT8OU5WtfkQ
youtube.com/watch?v=FI4BrXPMeZo

Definitely Drew.

>what do you guys think ?
You're a moron.

nice i like it

...

those dick sucking lips tho. Hardy would be the perfect choice

>Bruce, good old Bruce...You never give up on me

And the closest to the comics, too.

>"Believe me... you're the only one who cares."

There will never be a proper Mr.Freeze live action interpretation.

If it wasn't for the shitty 2edgy tattoos, he would've looked great.

Why does Sup Forums hate tats so much? I know it's a numale meme these days, but they've been around for a long time.

tattoos are fucking retarded.

>hey there, how much for this picture of a tiger? I want it sprawled across my entire back. $500? For a picture of an animal scraped into my back, whom i have no real interest in other than thinking they look cool and I'll be stuck with it for life unless i decide to fork over a shitload of cash for tattoo removal which really doesn't do that good of a job?
>That sounds like the deal of a century. lets do it.

I had my own likeness tattooed over my entire body, only taller. I still consider this to be the best option for manlets everywhere.
