I once saw a wild nigger

just a bag of liquified meat left

Here goes
>Dark and rainy night
>Dispatched to a two car head on injury accident on a local highway known for fatal wrecks
>dispatched short reports a possible black patient (dead)
>While en-route, heck the availability of airlift
>Initial medic unit arrives and gives size up: "Two vehicles, on their wheels blocking both lanes, heavy damage, we'll be investigating and establishing ___ Command"
"Arrive one scene and help shut the road down
>Go start walking to turn backed up cars around and put flares out
>See a white car on the shoulder
>Fucking obliterated, there is no windshield or front end of the vehicle left, totally destroyed
>So badly damaged we cant tell if the driver wore a seatbelt
>Driver of that car was ejected on impact and her body was laying in the bush
>Major trauma to her upper body, multiple deformites
>Driver who hit her was in a lifted pick up, passing in poor visibility ad didnt see her coming
>Walks by her body to hand the trooper his statement and looks at her body, seemingly unphased to the fact he just killed an 18 year old girl who had just graduated high school and gotten her first car

That's fucked up man. Are you a Paramedic? I'm studying at my local community college for my EMT cert. Is that the kind of stuff I can look forward to after attaining Paramedic cert?

>About 3 AM
>Tones go out: Respond ALS Red to a Gun Shot wound to the head
>Calls is like 3 blocks away
>As I'm pulling the fire engine out deputies pass the station and arrive seconds later
>PD: "Scene secure, aid to come in
>Walk in and see a man laying on a nice wooden kitchen floor in a large pool of blood
>Wife and daughter are sitting off the side hysterical
>Man is still alive
>Medics are working on prepping to intubate
>Sheriff deputy literally suctioning this guys airway to free hands
>I swap in with the deputy when I walk in
>The guy is still conscious and is drowning in his own blood, missing everything below his upper jaw
>I desperately try to suction his airway while the medic draws up sedatives
>Try to insert the tip of the suction catheter but I keep hitting chunks of the guys jawbone hanging on by threads with teeth attached, marrow exposed
>Guy is just looking around, the gurgling sound still disgusts me to think about to this day
>The smell of blood is really strong at this point
>Medic gets the tube and we launch airlift and head to the LZ
>I bag the guy with a BVM until we get to the LZ
>Pass the patient off to the flight crew and back to the rig
>Look down and see that my entire pant leg is covered in blood
>Everything in my pockets is bloody because it soaked through
>Boots are covered in blood, with chunks of face on them
>Go decon, and go home and shower
>Go to work a few days later, find more chunks of face I missed and blood on my boots still there

>get called to a cpr
>three story townhouse
>suicidal black dialysis pt runs a bath
> pulled port out of his arm in 2nd story bathrom
> blood fucking every where 3rd and 2nd floor
> looks like murder scene
> parents know he was suicidal
>didnt bother to check on him all day
>nigger mom found his corpse after water >leaked from ceiling

I'm a firefighter/EMT-IV. I'm a basic EMT that can obtain IV/IO access and place supraglottic airways. Yes, this is what you can expect, and worse. That call was so low on the scale of the spectrum of fucked up shit I have seen.

That's crazy, man. I want to be part of an ALS unit after getting emt cert. What's one of the most fucked up stories you have? Also, if you don't mind me asking, how much do you make/year?

More stories
>Dispatched to a structure fire, possible person trapped
>Law enforcement arrives first, two officers pull up and run inside
>Run and evacuate the two people on the first floor
>Stairway is on fire and access is impossible to the second flood
>First engine arrives on scene and stretches a line, only staffed with 2 people
>Random pedestrian grabs a ladder off our rig and ladders the house and chucks a brick through the second floor window
>Fire grown rapidly afterwards
>I arrive on scene and gear up
>Crews are unable to access to the second floor, the heat is too intense at the top of the stairs
>Stretch a ladder truck in the air and start hitting in from above, fire has now opened the roof, letting out heat
>I'm backing up the stairway group
>Get ordered outside to hit it from the exterior on the bravo side through a window
>Get fire out and find body in the attic bedroom
>Body is charred black, large skin tears exposing muscle tissue everywhere
>Skull cap is busted off due to heat fracture
>Brain is literally gone, no where to be seen
>Go outside and get rest while other crews take over the overhaul phase
>go eat domino's we got delivered while hatting with PD

Had a heart attack last year. Soon after being out of the hospital (double cabg), still dealing with chf. Wake up middle of night, can't breathe. sit up, seriously short of breath. Wasn't given nitro yet, didn't have oxygen yet. Called ambulance.

Ambulance came out. In back of ambulance. Guys are annoyed I can't make out sentences to explain. Manage to get out "acute pulmonary edema". Looks at me like I'm an idiot spouting medical terms to them. He puts me on 3 liters of oxygen. Tells me I need to get rid of our cat since that's probably causing my asthma problem. Tells me they'll take me in, even though I'll probably get sent right home for bothering them with an animal related asthma problem.

I make around $3k pre-tax a month but that's because I volunteer for the fire side of things. Only a paid EMT. Career firefighter/ paramedics here make $100K a year.

If that's true that's cringe worthy. They should have
>Done an EKG
>Put you on a Nebulizer of Albuterol and Atrovent
>IV Access
>See if o2 Sats improve, if not go to next step
>CPAP mask goes on, to help with pulmonary edema

i studied with tons of premed kids who would do hospital work and tell me their stories, pretty fucked up shit. but damn, that's raw. chunks of brain i could deal with but chunks of face...
do you ever find out about the conditions of people you picked up? like did that guy make it?

So you only volunteer? As a paid emt what do you do mostly then when not volunterring? Also, 100K, a year. Damn, that's crazy. Where do you live where firefighters/paramedics can make that much

Yeah, i live in a rural area. The local hospital knew what to do at least, but our ambulance guys were awful. I pointed out my fresh chest scar too, and no EKG.

I don't work for either but where I live there's about a 1 mile straight away and then a 90° turn so people ignore the 25 mph speed limit and go 100+ instead and get into horrible accidents. When I was 12 or 13 I saw a car catch on fire from one of the accidents and there was this kid about my age trapped in the burning car literally on fire, he twitched for a while but eventually died. Pretty fucked up, another time this kid did the same thing but his car didn't catch on fire but I walked outside and looked at the car and his face was spewing blood and I called 911. I saw a dude get stabbed and knocked out at a trashy house party when I was about 15 but have no idea what happened after. Those are the ones that stand out in my mind right now but I've seen my fair share of fucked up shit.

Most fucked up story? Hard to say.
>Called to help remove body with coroner
>Person has been dead for 4-5 days in the summer in their home
>Body is on the couch, bloated, a purple, black, green and covered with blisters of fluid
>Try not to grab the flesh if i dont have to
>Have to grab the arm to put a towel around the shoulders to move it without pulling off flesh by pulling on the arms
>Fluids leaking out of every hole
>A oxygen mask if fuzed to their face, clearly died of COPD exacerbation while using home neb
>The smell makes me have to stop and step out a few times
>Just moving the arm popped a few blisters and they leak blood and other fluid all over the couch
>I decide to grab the guys sweat pants when we move him, placing the bodybag under his feet
>I grab is legs by the pant leg and they grab up top
>Immediately pops multiple blisters and tears skin on his leg
>Blood and fluid pours into the body bag from both legs like a faucet
>Slide him down, go outside and get fresh air immediately

As far as disgusting, thats up there. Got another story like it too. Or do you mean the most emotionally fucked up?

He was probably really scared and was just worried about doing what he is now supposed to do. That's pretty much exactly how I would imagine myself in that scenario. He just got in a crash, himself, too.

Yeah we get updates from most hospitals. That guy died during surgery. He was 90 and had multiple forms of cancer. I live in the Pacific Northwest. Some unions have great contracts.

Here is another decomp story
>Dispatched to assisted removing another body (this happens a lot in my rural area due to the coroner only being a one man response)
>It's winter time and like 30 degrees out
>Body is in a little tiny camper trailer
>Open door and step inside, guy had space heater on when he died, been about 4 days
>Walking in I see blood and feces everywhere on the floor and walls
>Guy drinks a half gallon of fireball per day, do the math
>Blood trail leads to a small back bedroom with two beds on either side, and a closet separating the beds
>Body is on the bed with no sheet underneath
>Kinda tucked back in the corner facing away from us
>His feet are mummified, black and dried out
>We have to place a sleeping bag on the ground below to drag him to the door
>I grab the legs and start pulling while someone else gets his shoulders (sounds familiar right?)
>I start pulling and feel his flesh start separating and sliding off under my glove
>Get him down and drag him out
>Glove rips and I get gross shit on my hand
>Guy died of a massive GI bleed from drinking all the fucking time

Either one emotional or disgusting but I don't want to make you relive anything you don't want to

why do threads always seem to get shut down right after I post in them?

I'm so numb to death at this point, nothing really phases me or makes me scared to talk about. I like telling people stories, it offers a glimpse into a side of the world most people never see.
>During routine chest pain call, about to AMA the guy
>Taking off 12 lead and getting him to sign when tones drop
>Respond ALS Red for CPR in progress on a 1 year old
>Oh fuck
>Clear this cal and go enroute
>Arrive on scene and walk inside
>See mom and dad on the couch, mom is crying uncontrollably
>Walk to the bedroom and see a crowd of uniforms
>See a pale pair of little legs laying on the ground, moving with each chest compression
>Get swapped in for compressions, we are a few rounds in at this point and aren't making progress
>I feel the kids lungs expanding under my fingertips as I do CPR
>Get on the airway and swap out to bag the kid
>His brother who is like 2 is sleeping in crib right next to us
>Will never forget the look on the kids face
>Just a blank lifeless stare, your brain seems to know right away that this is not a normal thing to see, because it causes a feeling nobody can understand
>Lead medic makes a call to see the ER has any other ideas before we call it
>The say nope, and we called the time of death
>We all walk out one by one, walking past the parents on our way out
>The medic is walking out last and mom has realized what she is about to hear
>Medic stays in and tells her that her son is dead
>We all walk out, hardly say a few words then return to the station

You're making my night much more fun.

Do you even know what caused the cardiac arrest in the first place

Spook'd

I never found out.
>Dispatched ALS to an unconscious person found down, 15 years old with a history of seizure
>last seen an hour ago when they went to nap
>Get on scene and help with the code
>first Im holding the IV bag
>I get swapped in for compressions
>Doing CPR when blood starts coming out of his ET Tube
>Blood starts gushing out of his airway
>I dont have safety glasses on so I look up >Can feel his blood slashing out like a fountain and landing on my hand
>Feel the warmness and wetness of what I know is blood on my bare arm and wrist
>Dad is out in the living area screaming and throwing things
>Telling his kid not to die, telling us we can't stop CPR when we check his rhythm
>Tell us mid code to use Cannabis Oil because it will help
>We push epi instead
>We wait for cops to arrive before we call hit and pronounce him dead
>Died of positional asphyxia due to a seizure

I want to hear stories from men in uniform who have done fucked up things on duty

Only fucked up thing I have ever done is give drunks larger IVs and check out girls tits when we expose their chest

The cannabis oil might have really helped

> made fun of a dead guy on call
>mvc involving motorcycle
> half of head missing brains fat and blood across two lanes of high way
>legs all fucked up. put sheet over his body
> legs sticking out
> turn to ff buddy
>*point at legs*
>"WHAT ARE THOSE!!!"

It would have helped before the seizure started

...

>Dispatched to a motorcycle accident
>Arrive on scene, guy is in the ditch
>Helmet was knocked off on impact, he hit a ditch and flew and landed about 30 feet off the road
>get him in the rig and get to work
>We get dual IVs and check injuries
>He has a large depressed skull fracture, we can see his skull due to his scalp being torn off
>He says he is nauseous, obviously from his head injury
>medic tubes him and I ride in while bagging him
>We airlift the guy and he heads off the trauma center

>Dispatched to a motorcycle accident
>guy is unconscious
>We put him on a backboard while calling for a helicopter
>Get him in the rig, start assessing
>he has a large laceration on his leg down to his femur
>medics try tubing multiple times but are unable to get it for 3 tries
>Guy starts vomiting
>stinks like bud light
>Guy gets tubed and we take him to the LZ
>dumb shit lived

>Responding to a call for a welfare check
>Cops on scene and say the house smells like gas
>Womans soon to be ex-husband has their two kids
>Havent been able to reach them for the past few hours
>We stage, my gut tells me this is bad
>Cops get warrant and enter
>4 year old is sitting on the couch watching TV
>Gas is poured everywhere
>Part of dads head is in the hallway, the rest of his body is in the bedroom
>he bled his head off with 12 gauge
>1 year old is laying dead on the bed, smothered with a gasoline rag
>dad decided that he would kill his baby and hope the gas would ignite by the gun shot and kill the 4 year old

I'm not sure if that's entirely true. I've seen video of people with seizures/autism that use medical marijuana to cope with seizures if as they are happening.

nice

Work for a towing company, and I've seen son sick shit.
>Head on collision between two 18 wheelers
>Driver of the one we got was shredded
>Coroner never recovered all of the poor bastard.
Another
>Once again two 18 wheelers, head on
>Fire Dept. extracts the driver
>We clean up scene, and tow truck back to our yard
>Couple of days later wrecked truck starts to reek of death
>They got the driver out, but left the co- driver, and a dog in the sleeper.

Those people usually have muscle related disorders, I have yet to hear of an active seizure being stopped by cannabis oil. Sometimes during a seizure you don't breath, and it has to be heated in order to be activated and putting something in someones mouth during a seizure is not a good idea to risk of aspiration and biting your finger, their jaw may already clenched.

*even as they are

>wrekt

fucking summer

>Been here longer than you
>Summer
Been here since '08 bitch

Regardless I want further research, I think there's tons of potential

I don't want big pharmaceutical companies hiding the benefits of marijuana or lobbying for restrictions just to keep their profits selling their half-as-effective drugs

>respond to cpr in middle of boonies
>dude an hero'd via heroin
>ex con two weeks out of prison for murder
>walk in house cpr in progress
> house mate sitting on couch adjacent to pt drinking beer and watching tv while cpr going on

Saw a guy that bounced his car off the bottom of an overpass without a seatbelt on. He broke the steering column with his neck.

FUCK THE POLICE AND FUCK FIREFIGHTERS

What's a firefighter ever done to you

12 year old nigger detected

>complain about my job
>read this thread
>still complain about my job but now appreciate EMTs more

cannabis oil cannot be absorbed by the human body quick enough to stop a current seizure.

stop.

Fuck, what a shithead.

>Dispatched to stage for law enforcement
>Suspect has called in saying he shot an officer dead on his porch, says the officer is in uniform and tells dispatch the name
>Says he shot his wife 30 mins prior
>We stage at the end of the road, LE is still not on scene
>Soon a trooper arrives with a deputy right behind him
>at least 3 other marked cop cars go by
>2-3 more state patrol go by
>another sheriff goes by and an MRAP is right behind him
>another deputy followed by an APC, followed by another marked officer and a coms truck
>at least 3 detectives and state atrol swat officers who POVd arrive
>Turn out the guy was just mental and off his meds and full of shit

I say there's potential. Who knows what kind of new drugs and treatments can be synthesized if researches were given more funding and freedom to develop treatments from cannabis

You fucking waste of foreskin. I watched them, and it just proved my point.

Those vids are to ease future seizures, not to help a current seizure.

A seizure lasts from 10 seconds to 2 minutes. A drug taken orally takes 15 to 30 minutes to take affect....

There is no "treatment" or "synthesizing" or "research funding" that can change that.

I hate you.

You seem like an irrationally angry person. Have you tried smoking pot?

>My ALS project will send an MD to a scene in a chase truck
>Get dispatched to another shooting in the hood
>Shot 4 times in the ass, back, jaw, and arm
>Still warm, crowd is forming, time to grab and go
>MD shows up, we both know this guy has no chance
>MD wants to play
>Bilateral Thorectomy post intubation
>Aorta is clamped and we get to do cardiac massage to the Trauma Center
>Guy is pronounced and we have clean up the MD's mess now

...

moar stories! i know you got some sick sex shit you're not sharing....

How old are you?

oh shit, im here asking for stories and i forgot i had one.

i ran rescue truck for two years. which means 90% finding the body, pointing to the body, and the emt/medics load it up.

pager tones, go to courthouse, grab truck, drive 30 miles to a podunk town.

dipshit runs thru stop sign, yanks the murf and over corrected. cop estimated 45 mph when the car hit the bank.

rear passenger ok, gives statement. driver fucked. can't find front passenger. hour later still on scene, car has been towed.

all that's left is scattered clothes and flares. leave flares burn while we pick up clothing. shirt sleve... fingers.... a shoe, half a foot. rest of the clothes are on the bank, and 5 feet up a tree... and there she was, partially dismembered, still wearing most of her clothes, stuck in the branches.

...

Coroner Assistant

>2 AM
>Get called in to office, grab van, light ambers and go
>Pull up and two cops outside are stiffling their laughter as EMTs are leaving
>Go inside and follow the smell of death
>Coroner and I freeze in doorway as we see it
>Oh my god. This dude has a 12 inch dildo bulging out of his ass
>Begin to bag him up, we were not informed about any fluids
>Holy shit we should have been informed.

We went to pick this fat-ass dude up, my hands slipped (I had the waist), and he dropped - forcing the pressure from his stomach to release and rocket propel this fucking dildo across the room and into the wall.

The last officer in the room had to walk out in tears he was laughing too hard.

Later found out he burst his colon and bled out internally. Poor horny bastard.

I'm a medfag in Australia. Medical marijuana is legal is most states here now. It costs a fortune because in the process of regulating it, it is treated like any other pharmaceutical.

So the manufacturers make a fortune for something you could just grow at home. They're not hiding anything. They'll make a profit whether it's legal or not. They don't care either way.

Running with same rescue squad. Got call from dispatch woman found suicide note from terminally ill husband that's he's going to shoot himself, and where to find his body. Favorite hunting spot or some shit.

Again, rural area, dispatched because no local pd, and we would get to the scene quicker than the staties. Follow directions from wife. Get 3/4 of the way to the ridge, and here's this fucker sitting on a log back to us.

Rescue driver nudges me, "go get him". I said fuck no, he's pissed off at the world, he might not care who he takes with him.

MFW we both just stare at him until the staties arrive.

Long story short, when approached he offed himself.

he is not irrational, hes probably a cop and he makes money from locking kids up for smoking weed. its job security speaking there... hes the worst scum of the earth

>Respond ALS Red for CPR in progress on a 1 year old
I have a friend who's an ER doctor in a really bad area, so he sees all sorts of shit. One night he's standing in the ER and a paramedic walks in and hands him a little bundle as if to say 'well, this is your problem now'

>what's this?
friend unwraps bundle and sees that its a baby

>one year old infant, unexplained fit, no signs of trauma, still breathing
(this was the paramedic)

>still breathing?

>yeah, why?

>'cause he ain't now

Fortunately they started resuscitation and were able to revive the kid. But it was lucky my friend was not a gormless retard, unlike the paramedic, and actually noticed right away that the baby had stopped breathing.
