PAKI STAND

Good video, shit music.

Radiohead is the shitty version of Motorhead, trying to be relevant now that Lemmy died.

Literally no one likes Radiohead.

>shitty version of Motorhead
nigger you crazy?

[Verse 1]
Stay in the shadows
Cheer at the gallows
This is a round up

[Pre-Chorus 1]
This is a low flying panic attack
Sing a song on the jukebox that goes

[Chorus]
Burn the witch
Burn the witch
We know where you live

[Verse 2]
Red crosses on wooden doors
And if you float you burn
Loose talk around tables
Abandon all reason
Avoid all eye contact
Do not react
Shoot the messengers

[Pre-Chorus 2]
This is a low flying panic attack
Sing the song of sixpence that goes

[Chorus]
Burn the witch
Burn the witch
We know where you live
We know where you live

Seems like you're reaching TBQH.

I'm not reaching.
the guy who wrote and sang is saying that.

theguardian.com/music/2016/may/05/radioheads-burn-the-witch-may-be-critique-of-refugee-crisis-says-animator

>says animator

You're not just a dumb cunt, you're a willfully ignorant dumb cunt.

They probably are meant to be pro-refugee but they are vague enough that I will interpret them to be anti-refugee.

No they're not. It can easily be interpreted the other way around too as a criticism of religious dogma (Islam). It seems to me just like a commentary on the abandonment of reason. Also maybe a subtle dig at the demonisation of our supposed enemies like Russia and Iran.

I always thought only crackheads and potheads listened to Radiohead. And 14 years old who think that music is deep.

because no one has listened to radiohead since like 2004

they have 5 good songs, most of which on 1 album OK Computer.

~end discussion~

>animator
>wrote and sang

learn to speak english you fucking paki piece of shit

This. Thom Yorke usually has a more neutral opinion on such things. He is more of a deep conspiracist with a fascination with the ruling elite and their grand plans. Just look at Hail to the Thief.

>the guardian

From wikipedia:
"The song's lyrics and video have been interpreted as a warning against groupthink and right-wing politics."
>The song's lyrics
>lyrics

m.youtube.com/watch?v=h0SU18iHdek

>the guardian: the song

I used to have a serious radiohead phase in tenth grade. please don't ruin them for me.

>Radiohead
Oh wow, is that still a thing people listen to?

lol

>wikipedia is a reliable source for a subjective interpretation of an irrelevant band's song lyrics

kek, what shit writing, there's hardly any rhymes

This

Never been a fan of them.

I like Radiohead until Thom Yorke starts singing which is every fucking song.

Because that isn't BURN THE WITCH

this is youtube.com/watch?v=v7c187E5BxY

"wikipedia agrees with me"
>wikipedia is the word of God

"wikipedia dis-agrees with me"
>wikipedia is not a reliable source

genius.com/Radiohead-burn-the-witch-lyrics

i dont see it

it amazes me how people don't realize how much leftism promotes groupthink nowadays. I guess it's an example of groupthink, convince everyone that the opposing view engages in groupthink, but the way you're convincing people is through groupthink itself,.

>groupthink itself
all your guys (Sup Forums) do is groupthink itself.
100% of the time.

Not an argument and stop deflecting.

Stop being such a faggot and post where Yorke went out and said it was about refugees. Right now you posted the animator's analysis from a liberal publication and a random unsourced statement from Wikipedia without so much as a reference.

learn how to speak English

There would literally be absolutely nothing wrong with "refugees" in a economically stable country that act with dignity and respect towards the host peoples.

So basically whites and japs only lmao

Second rate pop group makes record, who fucking cares.

>artists are edgy for decades to sell records and because they're too dumb to understand politics
>being edgy now consists of calling for the genocide of your own people

hahah great satire sir

I almost believed you were serious for a minute

Top bad this song was written in like 05 you fucking invalid.

shit thread but thanks for the tunes

>headlining summer sonic this year
>irrelevant
But the shitty death metal bands you listen to are totally awesome right?

If anything I got the opposite vibe, people on the right are the ones getting called out for heresy against the left's secular morality that dominates the state.

But knowing that Thom's a bit of an SJW, supposedly the video creator chose it's style to insult le ebil countryside England and a bunch of shitty dildo sites like the Guardian and p4k have argued that it's against right-wing badthink it could very well be, I'm not sure.

Enjoyable enough song though.

I liked Exit Music and Fake Plastic Trees
That's about it

Kid A was their best, you fucking pleb

nobody knows what the fuck the guy is saying half the time. you can argue its anti refuge

youtube.com/watch?v=sPLEbAVjiLA

It seems all of you have the bloody mistake of assuming one thing

>musicians making informed and knowledgeable opinions about anything

Musicians are insufferable cocksuckers 90% of the time. Literally the most selfish, vile, and out-of-touch people you will ever meet at times. Who the fuck cares what the song is about famalam.

>have been interpreted as

That's still not the same as the guy who wrote and sang it stating that it is.

Nah, man. When several people on here independently come to the conclusion that you're wrong, that's not groupthink. That just means you're wrong.

why are those men who are pointing swords at the white woman dressed like they are in a satanic party? and i dont mean like LaVey edgy atheist type i mean like those you would expect to be versed in the occult worship of Baal/Moloch also they seem to be forming a spining hexagram could it be related to Saturn worship? i think this song is anti-refugee and probably anti-kabbalah but i could be wrong since everything seems so subtle

>right wing group think

Annnd fucking dropped.

>the current year
>still watching music videos

but the new album does suck hard. so boring

sorry, guys, i don't 'get' british soft rock bands.

Low energy.

Radiohead makes shitty ''music''.
No one cares.

I listened to this, the song is shit and you can't even tell what he says. Even their ''fans'' who pretend to be cool by listening to their music aren't going to make out the lyrics, so who cares?

That was pretty fucking terrible. They went down hardcore after OK Computer, which was god tier.

Listen to Elbow, they're cool.

>suggests even shittier band

Why does Sup Forums apparently have the worst taste in music?

Why not just listen to them instead of being contrarian for no fucking reason?

link me their best song in your opinion i will listen and give you my honest opinion

I saw thom Yorke once irl

He's a manlet

Red doors = rapefugees

google.ie/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/immigration/12109453/Red-front-doors-on-asylum-seeker-homes-in-Middlesbrough-mark-them-out-to-race-hate-yobs.html&ved=0ahUKEwjO4pzg38zMAhUKtBQKHbd-A1sQFggkMAI&usg=AFQjCNGn7mqqM2fszKt3GA5KUpD2dS8tjw&sig2=mRKTbTre0fqwwlMb58c6ow

There is no best song and one song isn't enough to form an opinions.
My favorite song is The Loneliness of a Tower Crane Driver, which is a very slow song which I don't think most people would like.

This is something I think people would enjoy more.
youtube.com/watch?v=VAhgnRSYn08

Holy shit guys wtf is going on

it's a tribute to the wicker man

Also, I think Burn the Witch was written around 15 years ago, because it has been constantly referenced through some artworks. Can't remember if it's in Kid A or Amnesiac. They sometimes release finalized versions of songs that were written a decade ago.

this is actually pretty good lol. thanks

try this uk up and coming band
youtube.com/watch?v=P2rPHqj-9ss

video is more like burn the kike

I like their melodies, and generally the lyrics are often slurred so I don't bother to listen to them.

I like their music, you don't have to agree with them, they're not politicians, they're musicians. The only thing I dislike is that I have no idea of any musicians that are openly sing about the moral collapse of society, and that's really fucking scary because it feels like there are all these role models pushing one ideology and absolutely nothing expressing anything against it. The entertainment industry as a whole is a one sided argument.

(Also, Moonman doesn't count, I mean artists who are popular in the media and will get radio time)

I like it

>I mean artists who are popular in the media and will get radio time

the worst music to listen to

Yeah, I know it's the worst, but the problem is, it's what everybody listens to, and it's mostly jewish bullshit.

it's crazy the talent the UK has. that's why you guys need to stay white. otherwise you will be known for arab rap

Bloodhound Gang released a new album last year. No one seems to talk about it at all. It flew under the radar entirely.

Is this the most red pilled album?
youtube.com/watch?v=GRb1VlRnCv4

is hiatus kaiyote on the radio there? that's where they're from

Fucking bullshit, the lyrics had already been written several years before the refugee crisis

If you're going to quote Wikipedia at least read the next paragraph. Radiohead has been working on this song for a long time.

According to long-time Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, Radiohead worked on "Burn the Witch" during the sessions for their albumsKid A(2000), Hail to the Thief(2003), andIn Rainbows(2007); the phrase "burn the witch" appears in theHail to the Thiefalbum artwork. The song was mentioned by frontmanThom Yorkein a 2005 blog entry on Radiohead's website and was briefly teased in performances in 2006 and 2008, but it was never played in full. In 2007, Yorke posted lyrics on the band's website.

The only groupthink happening here is a bunch of leftists pushing their own agenda on someone else's work.

>Does Sup Forums listen to Radiohead?

No, faggot.

Pseudo-intellectual trash. They would be better if they were a purely instrumental band.

>Sup Forums = 1 person

>socially awkward penguin
