I've never eaten it but i think i've smelled it in school, it is/was a pretty common prank to open a can and hide it stinking the whole building up, i didn't understand what it was at the time but that has to have been it, smelled like really intense shit and puke combined.

This really only applies to those bar mounted wall heaters, which I have no idea if you have in Sweden, but we did in NSW, Australia and this method can make a classroom smell absolutely fucking foul, with the plastic and shit melting to the heater.
