bunp

No one gives a shit

meme tier cast

Saw it yesterday and loved it. Managed to get two of my cousins to go watch it.

It'll lose to Finding Dory

>tfw bottom half of Sister's mask gets broken off
Hot fucking damn son

>tfw I talk about this movie to a romantic potential before she broke contact with me

>its not even good

Now she wont even remember me

No shit, Disney owns the Oscars so they literally can't have a non-Disney feature winner.

This fucking deserves the win though.

Too bad nobody cares. Complete flop, box office cancer

You two seem to care an awful lot

it's one of laika's worst movies why did you like it?

First movie I was able to actually feel emotionally invested in in a while. Plus dat animation was nearly fucking flawless.

that's really not saying much

It's easily the best.

their only other animated movie was moongirl and it was shit, the rest of them are claymation and fantastic
>corpse bride
>coraline
>boxtrolls
kubo has nothing on these

it looked good but the story was pretty shit.

2016 has really been a shit year

wait what are you trying to say

Did you think this was a CG picture

Because I have some news for you

Also why the fuck are you talking about Corpse Bride that was a Burton-led pic

>and Ralph Fiennes
>and Matthew McConaughey
Is that really necessary? To have "and name" twice in the credits?

>Dramatic orchestral version of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps."
Lame as fuck.

corpse bride was co-produced by warner and laika

It's been fucking terrible (I like to call this year the death of the blockbuster) but Kubo was fucking awesome.

bdrip when?

I like their movies, but let's be honest here, it's pretty much a cgi movie. The puppets are 3d printed and everything else is heavily supplemented with cgi. It looks nice and all, but a movie is more than just about how it looks and how it was created. Story fell flat all over the place. Sure it was enjoyable and I liked it, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a shit movie.

...

Huh, didn't know.

Really? I mean I don't know how to defend it but it nearly caused me some tears at some points and I never cry at movies.

it had great moments but the movie as a whole was kinda bad, especially the resolution.

>Complaining about story and dialogue in film.
Film is a visual medium. I find the best cinematic experiences are those with the volume muted, no subtitles, and fully indulging myself in the visual feast that is before my eyes.

The bit with Fiennes being alive and losing his memory was total crap I agree.

weabos are gonna eat this like if its freshly baked bread
