What career are you in? Would you switch?

What career are you in? Would you switch?

My career is worshipping this goddess right now.

MOAR

I'm a MD.
Don't know what else I would do really.
Dreaming of not having to work ever again so I can just chill and do whatever i want.

pilot here. wouldn't trade this shit for anything.

>chill and do whatever i want.
get into new wave medicine.
"here, eat some garlic and drink your piss"

>NEET
Fuck no.

No job yet, 1st year chem student, nobody told me it's just physics and math.

I dont giev e flying fuck ==DDDD

>I'm a MD.
>Dreaming of not having to work ever again so I can just chill and do whatever i want.
Aren't you fags rich? Just save money like insane for early retirement.

lamskooooooooooooooooooooo

I hate new age shit, so that would be selling out completely.
Not as much money in it as some people would lead you to believe.
also, depends on where in the world you practice. Scandinavia here.

then open your own practice and make the new doctor do all the work while you bang the hot nurses and patients.

>bang the hot nurses
He should also make them wear white stockings and high heels.

Engineer.

I'm pretty happy and make good money. If I could make more and do less work I'd switch. Not sure what that would be though.

PR/marketing

> all day browsing internet

nope

I work about 4 hours a day and spend the rest shitposting.

Well I for example am a faggot.

What's the money like?

Dentist. No.

make everyday like an episode of benny hill.

Shit. Marketing is saturated. I make about 60k per year. You can certainly make more but there is for sure a cap. Recruiters are relentless and will keep moving you for 2k more or whatever but it fucks up your resume

Chef at Wendy's. Never

Stocks. Nope. It's comfy work.

System administrator/network engineer.
I hate computers.
I'm not good at anything else and it pays well....

My friend went into that too. He's very good, got his certs, job pays well and is steady... but now he hates computers. He has one (1) at home in the kitchen besides his laptop.

at what time did you figured out you hate computers¿
If you can reverse time and studying another thing, would you do the same¿

I'm a firefighter, trapped in a middle class life forever. I would absolutely go back and do things different. Maybe college, or learning a skill/trade.

I work in The Norwegian Military intelligence service. Would never trade this job with anything

I'd probably pick some career I could make an obscene amount of money in.

Money is all that matters.

cryptocurencies,
i would switch for anything, i hate the people

I'm a manager of a comic store. For the past 2 years I've been stealing from the store through a complicated system. Nah I'll stay

Marketing. No way. Mobility, both geographic and career path, is way too good.
Gotta have a gimmick as well, like graphic design or data analysis.

>Money is all that matters.
Not really.Depends on a person to person I guess. It only makes life easier.

Bouncer, only doing this because of mma and trade school.

I've done everything I ever wanted in life, and been everything I ever set out to be. But I regret not specialising in one thing. I've been everything from a warehouse worker to a composer or film score. I just wish I'd done just one from day one. Humans are destined to always want more than they have.

Everyone is 'graphic design'
Data analysis is pretty saturated too.

I mean it's not a terrible profession but it for sure has a cap on how much you can make and is full of numale fags

CAD detailer and I'm sick if the work.

I'm actually working on making the switch to WebDev

Anyone have any advice for me? I just finished college and got my degree in Business Admin with focus in finance. Not sure where to go from here. Maybe a financial advisor or a broker of some sort but I don't know how to get my foot in the door.

What about a CFO for a growing medium sized business? Can you do that?

I'll pay you fifty bucks to suck my cock, how about that?

I used to like helping family with their computer problems and I always had some projects at home like building servers, trying new operating systems, gaming etc.
After working almost two years I lost all interest, i had enough "problems" with the machines at work. I'd rather do anything else.
I'm would rather cook or make music professinally even though it pays way worse.
I shouldn't complain; I'm pretty damn good at my job and it comes with a lot of benefits.

administer some business, but here's the thing.. you gotta focus on finance.

I bet you get fucked info being tech support for your nimrod family too

You arent a fucking chef you worthless shit. You work in fast food. You are a dumbass assembly line worker. You are useless and a fucking retard.

I never realized how many fucking levels of investment certifications I need to go through. School was hard enough to finish as is.

Wow REWD. I'm going to get on my NICE ship and leave

To be a CFO?

"Chef" at Denny's detected

I bet he feeds and makes more meals in a day than some flamboyant faggot in a "fancy" restaurant.

Are there any resources you'd recommend for learning how to get into stocks/day trading? I've wanted to get into that sort of work but not even remotely sure where to start

You start with around 100k in cash to play around with and then cross your fingers

Fell for the bait. Kek

So it's like gambling?

Day trading is pretty tough now with computerized trading and algorithms. I'd say just start reading about the stock market and put a very small amount into stocks to see how it goes (just to learn how to day changes, I'm talking a small small amount), then really it is a research game. I spend most of my day researching stocks rather than actually buying or selling.

Learn the day to day changes*

I'm a network engineer, and hell no I wouldn't change careers. I'm sitting here on Sup Forums during my workday with a joint. Now tell me who that captivating woman is OP, tell me now and post more of her.

Just being able to speak the language of web/graphic designers, data guys, etc. can really make the difference.
I can see what you mean by a cap though. Fortunately, I found my skills to be very portable.
>numale fags
Yeah, this line of work is dangerously close to the artsy types.

Maybe for some. But I'd rather have a job I enjoy because I'd be doing it everyday. Ive had jobs I hate and I would rather die than wake up and go to that shit hole.

This only in insurance

railway conductor
just started so no, I wouln't switch

What's the smallest, most viable capitol investment you'd recommend to be able to buy into the market as a means of research?

Wtf could be so important to steal from a comic store. Please enlighten me

>manager of a comic store

Tell us about your average day?

How do you spend 8 hours at a COMIC STORE, day after day?

I mean, what do you DO there?

part time warehouse worker. Sell at flea markets on the weekends. Buy/sell collectibles online.
I'd trade it to be an actor

To learn you can literally buy one share of something.

>complicated system
>read, "stuff shit in my pockets and write it off as damaged inventory"

Marine Engineering, I won't. Half of the year free from any work. No need to do shopping, cooking and deal with people for the other half.

I do all the orders, inventory, and scheduling.

Automotive technician for 14 years

>currently trying to transition into real estate

I dunno I guess I'll see how it goes. I'm 32 and don't want to wrench the rest of my life

Any recommendations for a first purchase?

So a tug boat driver?

We get legos and that's been my most recent looting. I've also gotten every trade and comic I've ever wanted.

That's how the last dude got caught

Way to go you fucking under achiever

Uni professor. Invested too much time and work to want to switch, and I generally like what I do.

I have a degree in oceanography, I work in a garden nursery for minimum wage and I want to be a detective or a police lab rat.

So a greasy mechanic? Ok.

Not really. I'm a long term guy. Monitor Nucor steel and Souhwest Airlines. I made 40% return on those recently and I think both still have more in them.

Art teacher, and yes, to work for myself.

How do you know when to sell? Just basing it off previous trends?

I'm a NEET and willing to retire, but have no retirement money.

wat do

Hahah, no. Steering is for navigators. I'm beneath the deck taking care about all the machinery. And I'm not working on a gay tug.

If you consider a technician making $65k
A "greasy" mechanic then yes.

Typically mechanics have no ASE certifications and are essentially parts changers. Technicians have their certifications and do engine, ABS, airbag diag etc

>wat do
acquire employment
that's the best I can offer

Reminds me of a marine biologist I met in Las Vegas. He was a manager at a Quiznos. Published a few papers and discovered a couple new species. Shit's kinda sad.

>40x50

>be night custodian for school district
>$26/hour and raise every 6 months til i max out
>plan on waiting a few years and trying to transfer to grounds dept and be mower op.
>pay scale goes up to $40/h
>guaranteed overtime
>retirement
>full benefits
>will be good

Yes. And researching the company news, and anticipating market changes. For example Nucor do some research in what they make. Then watch those industries. If you think the raw material usage will go up, then it's possibly a good time to buy or hold. If you think something political or economic might slow those industries down, then maybe better to sell (or short, but I don't do much of that). So you'd be looking at manufacturing fields that use their product. I do lots and lots of research for every stock and then religiously follow the news. I recommend the magazine The Economist also for general global news.

$40 an hour to cut fucking grass?

So i've got a problem. I'm in insurance right now and i dont really like it much.

I have an oppurtunity to go to a new agency that would pay better and make the sales process a lot better or I could start driving a bus for the city and focus on other things such as learning programming/music. However I hate the idea of working for the government.

Wat do?

Lawyer career here.
Would possibly switch for politics or becoming an author.
Career goals are either having sucess in the private market or becoming a judge in the German supreme or Federal Constitutional Court.

40 an hour to cut grass that's fucking lit Sup Forumsrother

Top of the pay scale. I know one of the guys who is making 38 right now and on rainy days he just hangs out at the maintenance yard and gets paid anyway. Union, fuck yea!

>German judge
Wow you must have the autism

Information security analyst. Yes. I've considered

>construction
>mechanic
>landscaping
>farmimg

IT Manager. Would switch for more money in a heartbeat.

>NEET
>Wonders about not having any money
Marry rich cunt is the best you can do since you wont ever work, downside is youll have to work out to have a chance to get one.

No Career, shitjobs
would switch

Forest Ranger. And no I wouldn't change but I'd like it if I didn't have to deal with so many drunks and tweakers.

Go with the first one and just save a ton so you can live decently well if you do finally decide its no longer worth it.

I really apriciate the input. Thanks a lot, my dude.

If you don't mind me asking, what's your yearly income?
