Invincibles

>invincibles
>drew and lost to chelsea in europe

>being this butthurt about something that happened 13 years ago

Lmao, considering Arsenal fans always bring it up what do you expect ?
If you keep the specialist in failure you're gonna spend your days reminiscing about what was, all in all, not that great of a season, considering man united and chelsea's seasons.

I'm not even an Arsenal fan, my team is in League 1. The only time I've seen Arsenal fans mention it is within the safe space of their own containment threads. The fact is that going unbeaten in the Premier League is a very big achievement, it's why no other team has done it other than Preston a very long time ago. I'd say the only achievement in the PL that has topped that this century was Manchester United's PL/CL double in 2008 (and Leicester winning the PL, although that could arguably be put down to everyone else around them failing).

Chelsea's 2004-05 season is very, very underrated.

Conceding just 15 goals and getting 95 points over 38 games is almost unfathomable these days.

Games lost:
>03/04 Arsenal '''''''''''''''Invincibles'''''''''''''''''
Charity Shield: Arsenal 1-1 Man Utd (Man Utd win 4-3 on penalties)
FA Cup semi final: Arsenal 0-1 Man Utd
League Cup semi final 1st leg: Arsenal 0-1 Middlesbrough
League Cup semi final 2nd leg: Middlesbrough 2-1 Arsenal
CL group stage Match 1: Arsenal 0-3 Internazionale
CL group stage Match 3: Dynamo Kyiv 2-1 Arsenal
CL quarter final 2nd leg: Arsenal 1-2 Chelsea

Games lost: 7
Trophies won: 1

>98/99 Man Utd Treble Winners
Charity Shield: Man Utd 0-3 Arsenal
PL Match 5: Arsenal 3-0 Man Utd
PL Match 13: Sheffield Wednesday 3-1 Man Utd
PL Match 18: Man Utd 2-3 Middlesbrough
League Cup round 5: Spurs 3-1 Man Utd

Games lost: 5
Trophies won: 3

>Arsenal fans will seriously try to argue that 03/04 Arsenal > 98/99 Man Utd

>over 95 points
>unfathomable

Make sure to APOLOGISE when >we get 100 points this season.

fuck my face Veira is fucking tall.
also who is the player behind henry lel?

if you buy into the "muh pl strongest league ever" hype, sure. but if you dont, then not really. undefeated seasons happen fairly regularly, all over the world. hell just in europe it has happened like 5 times in last 6 years.

not to mention it happened in a weak year for the pl. every single title win since chelsea became a force has been harder(but it also got a bit easier since united died).

Kanu

t. old

Have fun getting 3 goals every game from now Mr. Exposed

no not him, the one whom we can see only the legs of

Have fun watching us expose the league further with another record-breaking win streak.

Who are you lot playing for European competitions?

They have about the same chance of winning a European trophy as the other English clubs do tbf

He's tall but not that tall, he's probably standing on something or on his tiptoes

>chelshit have shit manager
>change him, walk the league

>arsenal have shit manager
>keep him for another 10 years, win 0 titles and ruin his legacy

really makes you drink

Idk if you're talking about Ranieri in 04 or Mourinho in 16, either way not really a "shit manager"

Where are you from again kike owned coon?that flag is the meme of memes . that gmo food obongo has been feeding you really messed you up.

Nah he's just tall mate.

An undefeated season in Croatia or where ever is irrelevant. An undefeated season in a top 4 league is very rare, because there disparity isn't as huge, plus the team that could you go undefeated will likely go far in European competition too making it harder

Mourinho is a fraud.

Kek, one bad season following a season where he won the title and he's a fraud....

Honestly chelsea 04/05 was better than the invincibles
>Only 1 loss
>most wins ever in the leauge in one season
>95 points which is still the record
>conceding only 15 goals
>making a champions leauge semi final
>winning back to back titles

After 2006, Arsenal became a joke like Liverpool. United and Chelsea were the only great teams in the league until the emergence of City.

And Chelsea still bought their way to success like City have done. United, Arsenal, Liverpool and even Tottenham all built up their reputation over the years.
