how do I fix this? Do the teeth need to be replaced with crowns? Do I need veneers?
Orthodontist says it's from my teeth rubbing together (underbite) so I'll probably need surgery which will fuck up my good jawline I'm sure

Add in a piece of paper and glue it
Or wood
You went to an orthodontist and he told you what needs doing and you came to Sup Forums to ask for a second opinion?
/thread
she didn't say what we can do to fix the teeth, just talked about underbite and I didn't realise till I was out the door. Probably didn't tell me because it'll cost €1000+
this makes no sense OP
all I got from it is referral for an x-ray before we can figure out if surgery is needed for underbite.
I'm not going to see her till next Friday and I need to know how big the hole in my pocket's gonna be
also I was expecting some abuse for never bothering getting my teeth whitened. I'm really disappointed in Sup Forums lately.
my front 4 teeth were discoloured from birth so got them filed back and then had resin put over them, wasnt too pricey think it was about 300 swiss francs (300dollars ish) per tooth
Too many onion rings
Just wear a mouthpeice when you go to bed.
They wanted to do xrays and specialist and grind my teeth and all this o ther non sense just to jack up the bill(over $9000)
Just got an orthopedic mouthguard and problems solved
dentists are crooks & the whole field is a big sham...its good to ask for other opinions
yeah i love getting advice from strangers who know absolutely nothing about dentistry and ignoring trained professionals.
I wish someone gave me this advice before the damage was done.
Ortho didn't even recommend it had to think it up myself, bitch. Couldn't find any in pharmacy though so I'll have to go sports shop tomorrow and pick up a gum guard.
see sometimes dentists are shit
C'mon OP it's not that bad yet
Seriously there really is little to no damage
U fine
dentist can grind/sand down you teeth. just ask em
this too actually, dont worry about it OP youll start spinning out!
>gum guard
No,that is not what i am saying. You need to get it from the dentist. Its a few hundred but no where near the THOUSANDS they want to make you spend. Its a special type of guard that sits differently in your mouth, depending on your bite, under in your case.
>trained professionals
lol you must be retarded ...they are the biggest scammers
maybe in the US...
fuck that, I'm just talking something to put in my mouth to stop the further damage. I'm not bruxism, maybe gum shield wouldn't work for bruxism
you're right, I'm a perfectionist (had ocd in my teens) I'm probably overreacting. Best just to fix overbite if necessary, whiten teeth and then just get clear picture what my teeth look like.
that's not too bad. before you do anything i'd wait it out and in the meanwhile brush your teeth with high fluoride toothpaste because you damaged your enamel
thrust me once that shit is damaged and you don't brush well your teeth start to decay like mad.
yeah offcourse... which 3rd world shithole are you in
switzerland lol nice try
good on you man, just think, it could be way worse
america isnt a third world country? haha dont make me laugh
lol
any way of repairing enamel?
veneers and caps
Is that you, Josef Mengele?
