It's the only type I tried driving. I'm not getting a license though, too much trouble for the ability to have even more troubles and expenses.

It is when you first start driving it, but its nice to have more control over your vehicle.
The main appeal of driving manual (for me, anyway) is having more complete control over the vehicle. To some people, they couldn't give a shit less and that's fine. But I enjoy having complete control and being able to manipulate the car exactly how I want

You sound actually autistic. Like, not when faggots here insult each other with the word "autistic," but actual autism.
same
Until you get in a traffic jam and start masturbating the shift and doing a DDR on pedals.
>high performance
What am I, a Nascar racer? And idgaf if they're harder to work on I'm not the mechanic either. And since autos are the norm, mechanics aren't going to charge extra for working on them

We have a mandatory safety driving program in Slovenia, where you try to evade obstacles at higher speeds on wet and smooth road. And trust me, you want to have that transmission.

This, being able to manually control your gear means you can control the speed of the tire rotation in an automatic it just shifts when the fuck ever.
I was taught on a standard, but I prefer driving automatic. It'd be different if I wanted to race or something, but for a daily commute and errands it is supremely unnecessary.
Saying a manual is the only "real" way to drive is like saying there's no reason to listen to music without $2000 worth of audio setup and gear.
also manual transmissions are just on the whole cheaper thats why thats the only thing that Europoors drive.
Say hello Mr police officer, sorry.
Male

Never owned anything but manual
I can respect this, if you live in a city its probably a real pain in the ass.
Only getting tranny work done. Everything else is the same.
Do u do manual @ make too?
Would like to c u motor pairs if it's ok
The police dont let you control the vehicle as you want, so why bother.
Good thing we're only talking about the transmissions then....Like no shit body work costs the same?
male

because going up hills in an automatic is fucking autistic they pretty much have no idea what the fuck they are doing.
At least there's someone reasonable. I feel like everyone should know how to drive a standard, but thinking either is the only thing worth driving is either autistic or arrogant

By the time I had transmission issues in my car it had 250k miles on it, and it wasn't worth the cost.
