A Lymphnode, on my neck under the jawline, has been swollen for over 6 months. It usually doesnt hurt except when Im sick and even gets bigger during those times
Im incredibly poor and couldnt afford to go see a doctor. Do I need to to the ER or something? Or should I just chill about about having Cancer?

Not necessarily cancer, but go see a doctor. If you can't afford it, bad luck. It will get worse. Also, think that almost your entire immuse system depends on your lymphnodes.

Out of curiosity, have you had your spleen removed?
Carson Sullivan
Since we're talking about lymphnodes, is it normal to get swollen whenever you have a sore throat? It usually hurts when I touch it. I used to get sick all the time as a kid so maybe that's why? Do I need to get my tonsils removed?
Isaac Turner
Nope
Aaron Nelson
Yes it is normal
Noah Evans
HIV causes swelling in lymph nodes. If you see seeking in your arm outs as well as throat, you may want to get tested. Also, you would have undergone seroconversion. Have you had flu like conditions, lack of energy, etc?
Not trying to scare, but you asked and it's the first thing I thought if as someone who has been there
Zachary Fisher
No, I have not
As I said in my original post, my swollen node isnt tender, but if it was always tender would it make a big difference? Because i cant actually remember now that i think about it
Colton Campbell
I'm no doctor, but I know that a chiropractic adjustment can often fix inflamed lympnodes. Smoking cannabis with a lot of cbd can also help.
You should for real go see a doctor though. Go to a walk-in clinic and write your social security number incorrectly on purpose.
James Gray
This. I've done it and just dodged the bills for years. After 4 years, they drop it.
Cooper Brown
No seroconversion, as Im pretty confident I wouldnt have HIV, though I feel tired all the time and get flu like symptoms pretty often, but not constantly

Can someone help me out here Since 3-4 days ago I have been blacking out at random times and feeling extremely lightheaded/dizzy nonstop along with a bad migraine and double vision I have also been vomiting a lot starting today along with sharp pain in my stomach. Eating makes the pain worse and I black out temporarily every time I lift my head or stand up What should I do? I'm too poor for a doctor
Landon Wilson
Can you sometimes smell something burning/fire even though there is none?
Josiah Nelson
Yes, like a gasoline kind of smell almost
Blake Smith
Have you gotten angrier/unbothered by the consequences of your actions since then?
Jackson Garcia
What do you mean? I don't think I've done anything with negative consequences recently
Juan Long
Alright then you're safe, not a brain tumor. Go find a doctor on some forum and email them your symptoms or something and see what they say
Blake Phillips
Okay
Justin Brooks
OP here again, I wanted to ask about what the ER could do for me, as I see this as my only option.
I would feel shitty about going, but I have no other option. I would have to go to a clinic, pay money I dont have just to be referred to a specialist that wouldnt see me because i dont have insurance
Could they diagnose cancer?
Cameron Jackson
you must go to a&e asap, what country are you in? gps can be expensive , but going to a hospital would sureky treat you, or would imagine that would be going against "first, do no harm?"
Leo Morris
I live in the grand ole USA, were those with disease die on the street like rats
Adam Allen
step 1: Don't post on b and actually post on a legitimate medical forum
Step 2: See what they say
Jace Sanchez
Go and fuck up your credit by not paying. Sounds like you might die. Yes, they can. ER costs way more. Go to a clinic. It might save you.
Leo Rivera
ER is straight raping rate. Only use ER if you think you're legit about to die. If for whatever reason it turns out to be some bullshit you're paying ludicrous amount of money.
Find a clinic or work something out with a GP.
Isaiah Wright
The referral game doesn't matter too much outside the insurance game. GPs can still treat a lot of things or at least give you good advice. Call around to see what your local clinic's self-pay rates are. You'll pay 10x as much at an ER and you won't know how much until months later.
