>making a cheap-ass barricade out of chairs and shit
>not making it out of bricks like it expressly says they did in the book
>all die after two minor skirmishes
DROPPED

Yes, yes it is.

The book is clearly unrealistic

The 1985 cast recording is better. Nobody in the film can sing.

No, Grease is the word.

>Hugh Jackman
>can't sing
top kek/jej/lel/joj

AND I'M JAVERT

Huge Act Man doesn't do awfully, but Crowe has one note.

Into the Woods is GOAT.

What are some MANLY musicals?

Best musical comin' thru:

youtu.be/NDIV_LJgLG0?t=1m29s

anything with Frank Sinatra or Elvis I guess, but "manly/straight musical" is an oxymoron.

Opera.

Were they gommies or what?

There's nothing particularly gay about Little Shop of Horrors.

Try Oliver!

The problem with Les Mis is that they sacrificed voice quality and cinematagraphy for the sake of saying "we did live singing" rather than having them go back and dub overthemselves in a studio. There's nothing wrong with that, but because they didn't, most of the time when people are singing, its just a closeup of the face.

The South Park movie is legit an amazing musical. Stephen Sondheim even called Parker&Stone to tell them that was the best musical he'd seen in ages.

>UH OH YOU MADE THE WRONG SUCKA A KEKOLD
>TIME TO PAY THE PIPER FOR THE PANTS YOU UNBUCKLED

Well they went and made Book of Mormon and that's won a gorillion awards, they've clearly got talent for it.

I've still never managed to see it ;_;

What the fuck even is that? I've seen it advertised but have no idea.

The funny thing is that movie inspired Bobby Lopez to make Avenue Q, which in turn inspired Stone & Parker to make Book of Mormon with Bobby Lopez

It would much harder making a brick wall in the street then it would just throwing furniture out their windows
