elysia crampton, actress, arca, sophie, symmetry - probbably the closest chart i've seen to my taste on here, i'm guessing ur an artsy student?
>HTTT at #1

Good at enjoying things and situations that aren't stressful
Intermittently retarded despite their greatest efforts

Resents casual perversion and hypersexualization, addicted to porn
Hail to the Thief really grew on me over the years. I love We Suck Young Blood and consider it the strongest song on the album after WIEAYB and The Gloaming.

Do you really like Vektroid's Floral Shoppe?
close user by im 18 not 20 ;)
It's complex multivalent nostalgia-core for me, reminding me of driving home from parties with my mum, sleepy, radio on, vague sense of the past, when I first discovered it, and, mostly, having missed out on the vaporwave trend, tumblr, whatever, back when I might've enjoyed it, plus it sounds beautiful

Thanks
Surprise me with recs. Kinda jaded musically so listening to older favorites since even the newest record on this chart is actually a 1983 rerelease.
Kill whitey!
Elizabeth Cotten - Freight Train and Other North Carolina Folk Songs and Tunes
Guy who thinks he's super weird and out there, but actually has a lot more in common with others than he thinks.
Clinic - Internal Wrangler
Raised in some sort of isolated zone (ex. being raised by a more well off/relatively rich family) that's made it harder for you to relate to others.
Menace Ruine - The Die Is Cast
You don't step out of the house enough. I would recommend you go see Robert Ashley's Quicksand, but I don't think it's on at any operas anymore. So I guess just watch a video of it, that man excels the most when it comes to operas.
Non-confrontational, just wants to share a J with his peeps and have a fun time.
De La Soul - Three Feet High And Rising
Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique
thanks for the rec this is sick
I've often seen Paul's Boutique on best albums list and such. Heard its kinda plunderphonics-y. What kind of album is it? Agressive like Licensed to Ill?
PB isn't as aggressive punky as LTI is, but is still relatively energetic while having A LOT of samples (more than SILY).You like Kanye and Avalanches? Then Paul's Boutique is definitely worth a listen.
Sounds great, will definitely check it out! Thanks for the rec.
...
Recommend me music
Check out Sex Mob
Tom Waits
Big Bill Broonzy - Sings Folk Songs
Bump

curious
thanks for the recs. will check out
whoah. nice rec.
try out P-Model - Big Body or Rom=Pari - Views
Seeing a lot of stuff I like. How's Roy Montgomery's solo work? I've only ever heard him on Well Oiled but obviously he's a phenomenal guitarist
he layers reverbed twings and twangs to create psychedelic soundscapes, i also highly rec his work in dadamah, best velvet worship.
>Rec: Everything Everything - Get to Heaven
>Rec: Haruoso Hosono - Pacific
>Rec: Swans - Children of God
Also, what's the album left of CLOUDDEAD? I'm intrigued
Heard it, but good choice
I Am a Lake of Burning Orchids - Innocence
Thanks man
anyone know how to fix when topsters2 does this?
loaded halfway on a slow connection and now refuses to load the rest, even when i clear cookies etc. works in incognito mode.
I had to restart my computer when it did that to me, if that doesn't work try using it on your phone
Bumping again, I'm always looking for recommendations, and I'm pretty much willing to give anything a shot
TR/ST - TRST for bleep
Uniform - Wake in Fright for industrial rockish stuff
Trepanerignsritualen - Perfection & Permanence for black metalish noise
JK Flesh - Rise Above for more noise
Lawrence English - The Peregrine for some harsh, chilling ambient
Janek Schaefer - Glitter in My Tears if you like easy listen radio stations like NPR at 3am in the morning, and you've just decided to go for a night drive.
meh
eh
oke
hmmm
Piero :)
uuuuh
i do not.
lmao I do listen to NPR... I'll give some listens
Ha yeaaaaaaah. I'm not really ashamed to admit that I've only recently broadened my musical horizons for the first time in a while (let's just say there was a time with a lot of acid and a lot of Phish being played). Scaruffi's website has actually been a great resource for me to find some new stuff, same sort of reason I came here I guess. Good recommendations
Also check out a few things if you haven't already
A.R. & Machines - Die Grüne Reise
Popol Vuh - Hosianna Mantra
Caspar Brotzmann Massaker - Tribe
I don't know how you make those big charts. Seems awfully time-consuming. Not to mention that you have to save all of the pictures you want to use in a collage. Going through the trouble of finding them is hard enough.
topsters.com
didnt work for me :\
Maybe try just remaking the chart
Rhys Chatham - An Angel Moves Too Fast to See (the compilation not the album)
Moebius - Tonspuren
see above + Klaus Schulze - Picture Music
Fushitsusha - s/t
...
Ever heard of Sandy Bull? I saw Inventions for Electric Guitar and I thought of the Sandy Bull album Inventions. He's got another one for electric instruments called E Pluribus Unum, you might like it. It's not exactly krautrock or electronic sounding like Manuel Gottsching is, but I have a weird hunch
I'm terrible at recommendations sorry. Would be curious about any pre-90s recs for me
you seem fun, would go to festival with
why...
I would not like you
I would like you

That site did make things easier. Took me a minute to figure out there was a search bar. Thanks.
nicely designed troll chart
>Sex Mob
Thanks for the rec! Their players are very good, though I wish the drummer would move away from the rock style drumming.
Check out Sabbath Assembly - Restored To One it's folky like a lot of stuff on your chart but with a slight occult tinge like Sabbath or Swans.
>Chatham
I already own that record but thanks for the rec he's a great artist!
Check out Fuck Buttons - Tarot Sport it's something between the more chill droney ambient stuff on your chart and the more psychedelic stuff.
>I would like you
Thanks!
>Oceansize
Cool, don't normally see people talk about them much here. Pretty nifty group.
Check out Roy Harper - Stormcock it's something in between the folk stuff and the more progressive stuff on your chart. Also check out Buffy Saint-Marie - Illuminations that's folk plus electronic synths but like early experimental electronic style. Both are pre-90s.
Not gonna even bother trying to guess personalities cause I suck at it. Some recs would be fantastic, though!
>+Electric Wizard, Emperor.
Check out Sleep.
>+Frank Zappa, Snarky Puppy, Miles Davis, King Crimson, Yes, Rush, Jimi Hendrix
>- Neil Young, Bob Dylan
If you don't listen to them already, I think you would like Dream Theater!
Snarky Puppy seems up your alley.
>+Green Day, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag
Take a listen to Vanna.
>+Alice in Chains, Kyuss, Korn
You might like Mastodon, check dat shit out.
>+Black Sabbath/Ozzy, Beck, Pink Floyd, System of a Down
Check out Funkadelic and Testament mate.
Protip: Check the file first before uploading to make sure your chart isn't fucked up.
Here's the entire chart :P
let me guess, everyone in this thread is less than 21 because only kids actually care enough to make charts
>thank you
