Who cares both are for scum bags

One kills you, the other doesn't. Pretty simple Pedro desu.

Smoking anything in public is inconsiderate, and should be met with a fine for polluting public spaces. What you do inside your home is your business, though.

We don't know if weed kills yet

It kills more people in a year, than bullets in America. According to the CDC, more people die each year FROM SECOND HAND SMOKE than guns.
No one is going to ban it, yet they freak out over guns.

Where is the logic in that?

Neither will be banned, and I'm fine with it. I just don't see the logic.

it's like just a plant man it's like natural dude lmao cures cancer and creates brain cells.

The ignorance is strong with this one.... Yes, cigs do have many chemicals but you're still putting smoke into your lungs. Smoke is everything that hasn't been fully burned by the flame. You are still inhaling plant matter that clogs your bronchioles. Also, it turns you into a fucking autistic rambling dumbass.

thats why i vape my dude

it cures cancer!!!

It makes sense though, doesn't it? Studies show marijuana can raise estrogen levels and heavy use in the teens can be a cause for gynocomastia (man tits), as well as making you lethargic and passive i.e hippies.

Tobacco has natural properties that prevent estrogen from synthesizing in the body and a few other things that essentially increase testosterone production, as well as being a traditionally masculine activity (those who smoke/drink alcohol have higher levels of testosterone). Why do you think they are pushing to stratify the to and further cuck men?

Yeah dude Stimulates creativity and makes me more happy man Shit isn't even addictive
hinhinhinhin

how long are you gonna wait

yeah so how long do I have until I start seeing my health being affected by weed I'm genuinely curious

I've been smoking weed for about four years

So then the best outcome is to legalize only edible marijuana, fellow leaf?

We also pay for cable in prisons and fund people with no jobs having housing at a federal level with nearly no process of monitoring it. We force people to use medical insurance and then force the insurance company to buy drugs at named prices no matter how jacked up those prices are. We pay for government officials vacations as well as their drivers then on top of that let them decide their paychecks and days off. Law enforcement rides above the law and education is the last thing we worry about. If you believe anything our government is handling is meant for our bennifit you are fucking retarded.

Agreed, people have only been using it for thousands of years so who knows what it will do in the long run.

Tobacco makes people smarter, pot makes them dumber.

Just make pot legal. It will get the SJWs under control.

Legalize opiates and meth, too.

The sooner they get out of the way, the better. The west is off track. Give them drugs, keep them sedated.

>the farts and shits the next day

Never again

I'm sure you can already see signs. Do you cough? Shortness of breathe? Less stamina? I remember when I used to smoke pot, I couldn't achieve peak performance in sports.

People used tobacco for thousands of years too, you fucking racist.

How many of them lived into their 80s?

one kills and one makes you retarded

both addictive

both degenerate

both wastes of money

KEK

look at Russia. Communism failed.

The krokodil is dealing with a fraction of the atheists. The atheists that can't cope blow their brains out.

It's time for social engineering with drugs.

I say the government has no right to control what people consume but also shouldnt be giving them money for jack shit if they aren't working to better themselves. If you aren't willing to stay sober and piss in a jar for a welfare check you deserve to starve anyway.

Natural selection. Let the fiends and morons take their drugs and fade away while the rest of us actually do something.

weed a few times a year is completely fine, everyday is absolutely degenerate

>ban happy meals
>legalize muh drugs

It's a solid alternative but you'll still end up depressed if you ever decide to drop the whole getting high phase.

>both may kill but may not. one is more likely to kill you than the other. neither makes you retarded

>one is habit forming and physically addictive, the other is only habit forming

>opinion

>opinion

please bring more science next time

Speaking of which, when are liberalsgoing to realize that they're literally inhaling cultural appropriation 20+ times a day?

Obamacare and western socialized medicine already pays for anti-depressants.

People are more willing to self medicate with cannabis, meth, or opiates though.

The anti-depressants and anti-psychotics make then "fuzzy."

Nicotine, like caffeine are productivity drugs. Nicotine in cigarettes can make people less lazy,

Imagine you needed to make a rational life plan for yourself; to pursue projects over the course of years in an organized and efficient way. Now, imagine you had multiple personality disorder, and frequently a second identity would interfere and mix up your goals, reverse your progress, waste your carefully-allocated resources, and, in short, make your plans impossible. Now, imagine instead of two competing personalities, you had millions, or hundreds of millions of them. Why would anyone ever expect a democratic society to be coherent. Why wouldn't it contain massive contradictions?

And why exactly would it be good few times / year - I bet when you smoke it that times it's just because of social pressure and you thinking it's cool.

>modest daily tokes to relax and chill are degenerate

when did Sup Forums become such a puritan board?

You thought the tobacco jew wasn't going to adapt once he got banned out?

because I suffer depression and antidepressants don't do much for me anymore and I smoke a joint of pure cannabis and it reminds me of what joy is like and made me trip and ate some mushrooms too and kind of helped me mentally fight my demons, plus sex with those drugs is amazing too

smoking tobacco makes you feel emotionaly lighter and addicts you if you smoke too much

smoking weed makes you feel a little happy but makes you lazy and lethargic in return and im not sure how much it can be addictful

smoking anything too much destroys your lungs and probably your Y chromosome

They do?

Also why prohibit drugs?

This may be true but cigarettes are not just tobacco

Let's ban fat people. They cost the healthcaresystem twice as much as smokers.

If they ban obese people I stop smoking.

happy meals should be classified as drugs not food

and I don't want to do it everyday because of the memory problems it gives you for example, I need my memory for my career

>they want to ban this
do they? Banning smoking inside public places I'm all for but I've never seen anyone calling for an outright ban on tobacco.

In my opinion everything should be legal but if you live in a country with socialised health care and choose to smoke/drink/do drugs you waive the right for treatment for diseases related to those vices. The fact my taxes pay for the health care for smokers, alcoholics and drug addicts who never cared about their health in the first place makes my blood boil.

I went to school with a weed smoker. I met him two years ago.

He moves like a sloth, Talks slowly. Thinks slowly. Everytime I waited for an answer I was thinking about taking a dump and continue wating for his answer afterwards.

He can't go two days without weed. He gets bitchy and nervous.

>wead is nT adicctivve, brooooo

Marijuana isn't as safe and clean a drug as people think, seriously. I mean it's not that physically harmful besides harming your lungs and some IQ/brain damage but the biggest effect is on the mind.

I won't lie, I smoked plenty during highschool, almost every weekend like the degenerate that I was. But I quit around senior year, got a job, joined the military etc. Got my act together essentially. My friend kept smoking and smoking.

You think the stereotypes about the lazy stoner sitting around all day is a cheesy portrayal? So did I. But this fucker, a really energetic guy who used to be full of life and spunk, just sits around smoking weed and hiding in his room, doesn't talk to his family or anything, just gets blazed and hides, it's fucking disgusting. Honestly, fuck marijuana, I regret smoking it and I'll try my hardest to keep my kids from smoking, it has the potential to turn you into a spineless loser and I've seen it happen time and time again, don't be fooled by it's casual nature. It takes it's toll, you just won't be able to notice it. Don't be a fucking loser like my good buddy, seriously. It's pathetic.

all fast food should be banned

>some IQ/brain damage

Come on user, you know that's not true. It's temporary at worst. I don't even smoke and I know that.

Please do some research.

Do you not realize that using pot for depression is the worst thing you could do? Not to mention taking shrooms too... I'm not trying to berate you for the decisions you've made but neither of those drugs will truly help you vanquish depression.

...

>Not to mention taking shrooms too
there is research suggesting shrooms and LSD might be good for depression

healthcare just simply isn't for everyone. I can't think of a single poor person who deserves treatment. they're just gonna die young anyway.

No, I would say there is ample evidence to suggest it impairs some executive action in the brain like motivation, memory, etc. This can be seen in regular pot smokers as well, even when not high. It certainly harmed my memory to this day, it was much clearer before highschool. Don't let stoners in denial say it's not true.

because votes.

>ban tobacco
>ban on any nicotine

I will literally kill the nearest politician's children and then myself if my state does this

>how edgy
a couple of children is nothing compared to the amount of people who will be killed buying and selling this shit on the black market

>mfw people think weed doesn't harm you
Did we all forget that breathing any kind of smoke into your lungs is inherently harmful?

nicotine has a long history of being good for you in small doses, especially for your brain

marijuana trashes your synapses

guess which is better for a docile, stupid population?

People vape it nowadays more and more.

What then?

>inhaling smoke doesn't kill you

Ideally, a rational, well-informed adult should be making the decision on what to consume. I don't give a shit if it's cigarettes or marijuana, as long as it doesn't infringe on my rights when they smoke it.

What about fat people, they cost the healthcare-system twice as much as smokers.
What about extreme sports.
What about S&M sex accidents
At least they pay their fines for the HC system

What about all those filthy immigrants from the shitholes of the world who get free treatment here for parasites, tuberkulosis, pestilence etc. they never payed a single cent into the HC system and just benefit from it.

What is the biggest problem huh?

>live in socialized healthcaresystem
>deal with it

A link to that research would be great. I've only heard that shrooms and LSD help people with PTSD and alcoholism. I was also speaking from personal experience. Psychoactive drugs really embellish your current state of mind. Also, what happens when the trip is over and you feel depressed again? Do you just keep taking shrooms and LSD to keep yourself at bay? No drug can pull you out of depression. You can only pull yourself out.

That's just the delusion pot put you trough, you think it helps but in reality it doesn't do shit, it's a depressive and it worsen the situation.

Same goes for tobacco smokers - they think it relaxes them when in reality a smoker even after a cigarette is more stressed than a non smoker.

It's just a dopamine mechanism that tricks you.

>i dunno if le weed is addictful lmao

If you know anyone who smokes on a regular basis you know weed is addictive. Stoners are destroyed humans.

It's quite alarming when I run into one of those kinda people.

Literally anyone can become socially autistic not just cannabis smokers.
They're just more prone to it because cannabis is a depressive and puts your brain in theta waves, and then your brain gets used to it - quicker than someone who just day dreams everyday.

>FPBP

its not about using shrooms as medication, they are looking at the effect it has on the brain and trying to recreate parts of that. google "mushrooms depression" and you get lots of stuff
nytimes.com/2014/11/30/opinion/sunday/can-mushrooms-treat-depression.html

Basically this, like I said about my friend in the story above, it turns you into a an unmotivated and clueless cuck/loser, no motivation or gusto/testosterone, just an empty shell. It's fucking pathetic. I'm typically a pretty easy going libertarian but I would be lying if there wasn't a small part of me that wanted to ban the stuff from this country and make dealing it a federal offense, and this is coming from someone who both smoked and dealt weed frequently in highschool. It's scary how subtle the dangers are, but they accumulate.

Weed isn't as addictive as most other drugs. Think about people who drink coffee, they always need that cup of joe or else they get headaches and feel anxious. To relieve the addiction only takes about 2 days. They're all weak minded people who are dependent on whichever drug and don't have the will power to quit..

Vapor isn't smoke numbnuts.

My next door neighbor sure as hell did, he'd been smoking unfiltered Camels since he was 15, and all through the Pacific Campaign. Salty ass Marine who hung on forever.

>turns you into a fucking autistic rambling dumbass.
this is the only true part about it

The only problem I have with legalization of all drugs is the fact the tax payers are still paying for their medical expenses. Fatties and addicts and drunks should lose coverage desu

uh, insurance companies get to negotiate what they pay for stuff. big customers have sway m80

what the Fuck am i looking at?

this must be shooped? r-r-right?

>tfw my roomate invited over his stoner friend
>tfw all he wanted to do was smoke weed
>tfw he literally could not play a simple board game because his brain was too fried

i never want to be like that. it must be dreadful

what kind of ostrich is that?

A FUCKING DUDE WEED LMAO

You can't even form a coherent post.

One helps you focus, the other one tames you

You see m8, in 50 years all drugs will be legal and promoted, but certain ideas will be illegal, having a personal hard-drive will be illegal, having an opinnion will be illegal, having conversations outside of Facebook's computers will be illegal, certain types of protests will be illegal, certain information leaks will be illegal, driving will be illegal, grounding your son will be illegal, etc, etc

But of course, we will be a pluralistic free, non-fascist society that allows its people to do psychodelics all day long

what was wrong with marinol as medicine?

should we also legalize heroin so people can start smoking it instead of taking oxys for pain?

I just skimmed through it.. None of it is very definitive. But, there may be a chance that it can "reboot" your brain.

I don't even know why people prefer to smoke cigarettes when there are way better drugs available.

Because hypocrisy.

nicotine is a wonder drug/poison
it also feels good

MFW People really believe inhaling smoke into your lungs from a psychedelic drug is healthy.

This

I can't even begin to fathom what you find incoherent about that...

>weed isn't addictive, look at coffee drinkers!

I think all that foreign semen and marijuana are mindbreaking you

I smoke cigarettes cuz I genuinely enjoy the act of smoking and am not going to get a record for smoking pot. my grandma is about to hit 90 and has been smoking hardcore ass marlboro reds her whole life.

every time my dad tells me "that shit kills you" I say well, your dad left her and he and his wife are dead. so what killed them at a younger age

fuck it I might die. I probabaly won't smoke after 30

whatever.

I don't smoke anymore, but that's just because I'm older now and have bills to pay and don't want to worry about an arrest record

Honest to god I was a very very active potsmoker as were my friends. varsity hockey 9th grade all through hs, very active all through college

people that smoke pot and become retard couch potatoes already had it in them. it just hadn't been unlocked yet. they hadn't uncovered their true callings as lazy pieces of shit

>Weed isn't as addictive as most other drugs.
>attempted to relate weed with coffee explaining that the mental addiction is primary factor
>get called a stoner
>wut
Bud, did you drop out of highschool or something?

By your reasoning every car is polluting public spaces and thus every driver should be fined.

Smoking outdoors is fine for everyone involved, smoking indoors in a public place is shitty, smoking cigarettes indoors is disgusting, a nice aromatic cigar or pipe tobacco is fine in your own home imo.

I think more simply he means "everything in moderation". Even going to the gym or being TOO physically active is bad for your health.

Then your ancestors are scumbags.

Marijuana is 115 times better than alcohol, you can only imagine how much better than nicotine it is.

Humans have gotten high for as long as they have existed, and they will continue to do so. BUT SUPRISINGLY ENOUGH, society doesn't roll over and die when drugs are legal (I.E BEFORE THE WAR ON DRUGS)

So, think before you speak. Don't believe Nixon's memes.

Jesus Christ straight edgers are pathetic

Seems to contradict the studies I've found. IQ is temporarily effected. High strength cannabis isn't as common as say something like reggie. You could argue drinking high strength alcohol in mass quantities kills liver cells and damages the brain too.

I believe you, I just think your argument is incredibly week and filled with holes. My advice to you is to make sure whatever you find cannot be compared with a legal substance like alcohol.

The moment it can, your argument is ripped apart. Also, make sure to find something on -regular- strength cannibis. We're talking about typical use and average sessions, not the extreme.

If you argue that I'd probably shrug and tell you duh, of course it will, it's way stronger than it should be. What idiot doesn't think of that?

Also, personal experience does not equal a scientific source.

Convince me!

And you're a special little snowflake. Get your head out your ass. We're all pathetic.

But physical training and body maintaining it's not a social thing - your body atrophies if you don't use it... it's a natural thing.
While cannabis even once / year - it's not natural and it's just a forced social thing, that you can live without and it doesn't improve you in any way.

Excess is bad regardless of what you do - over-stimulation just fucks your brain receptors so you end up doing even more of that thing just to feel normal.

Unless it emits carbon monoxide particles into the air from the burnt organic matter, then yes, it is just as bad as smoking.

1000x this.

I smoked for 10 years, my house was messy, yard overgrown, all I did was work, smoke and play vidya. I decided I needed to quit smoking because I was a lazy fuck.

I quit smoking weed for 3 months and nothing changed except I was sober, house still messy, yard still looked like shit and all I did was work and vidya. I then realized I was just a lazy unmotivated piece of shit. I now spend 30 min a day cleaning, mow once a week and smoke all the weed I can get my hands on.

Tl:Dr the only cure for being a lazy piece of shit is to stop being a lazy piece of shit, blaming drugs is just one of millions of excuses.
