I think its illegal to help other people fullfilling suicide? But I could be wrong here.

you better live you little fucker, appreciate what you have been given

If it stops your heart, you will quickly lose consciousness and die. Don't kys tho, Sup Forumsto. You're a cyborg.

So you're a robot?

not likely.
you will lose contiousness pretty fast as your brain don't get oxygen. just make sure nobody notice and plug you back in, that can fuck you up real good

wtf was wrong with your organic heart? and if you turn off your fake heart it would probably feel like having a heart attack

that invention is old like fuck , not so popular cuz humans are afraid to having things like that

Was it Viagra and cocaine? It was Viagra and cocaine.

Nigger you can replace my legs and arms right now if it means I won't ache all over when the rain comes and my hands will stop hurting when I do anything.

Sell that shit on eBay first. It can't be cheap.

1. What's your favorite furniture ?
2. compared to what ?

Dude! You could totally be Tony Stark or something! All you have to do is create a franchise, become philanthropist billionaire, and have something artificial keeping you alive. Hardest part is already done, next is renaming yourself: Anthony Snart (so it looks original)

most of humans are afraid of losing "humanity" and freak out just of thinking of becoming a cyborg
some kind of organic sentiment

Pic

speak for yourself retardo...i would love to be a cyborg as would most educated people

Pic of the machine

>before they sliced it up

Are you sure about that?

And appreciate what you've been given dude. people in the past would have given a lot for what you have now

I have my family and friends and a GF who is like my caretaker/nurse helping me through this. I won't kill myself, just curious.
Ye
I've had to change my machine over to the back up numerous times. The process is unplugging 4 colored tubes and reattaching them to the correlating colors. My heart has stopped numerous times. I feel my blood and body get cold and everything starts to fade to black. Adrenaline saved my life and I plugged everything back in. When the machine malfunctions it sounds like a fucking fire alarm.

Doctors don't know.
Doctors asked me straight up to not do this if I didn't want to. Said I had a choice in my own life if I wanted to attempt the artificial heart. I couldn't say no bc of my family.

...

no, it wouldn't.

So Can you get a heart transplant or is the machine a permanent addition
Also what's it like not having a heart compared to what it's like having a heart

>Doctors asked me straight up to not do this if I didn't want to. Said I had a choice in my own life if I wanted to attempt the artificial heart. I couldn't say no bc of my family.

Not sure i understood that sentence, you mean they let you choose between having an artificial heart and living, or not getting one and probably dying i suppose (if you need an artificial heart you must have been in a pretty bad shape)

Also how do you deal with the machine, you have to carry that bag around all the time? Like on your back?

What manufacturer and model is it? I want to look up the specs

B U L L S H I T

>Morons fall for it.

Probably just feel like you're suffocating and then you'll pass out.

can you overclock it?

Are you on social care? How do you earn money for your livelihood?

It's a bridge to heart transplant. The longest anyone has had one is 4 1/2 years. I'm coming up on a year in July.
-I'm on a shit ton of medicine. My heart rate is set to 125 because the machine isn't as powerful as a real heart so it needs to work faster to pump the blood through my body. I'm super fatigued all the time but I'm healthier than when my heart started failing.

They told me I would die within the next week if nothing was done. My organs were failing because my heart was only working 25%. there was a clot in my left ventricle that had blocked a major part of it. I carry the bag around all the time, it's twenty pounds. I also carry a backup machine and 8 batteries. The tubes that come out of my chest are extremely painful and sensitive so my movement is limited. I stopped taking my pain meds because my dad is a heroin addict and he was taking them. I don't want to go down that path.

My nightstand with a drawer that I can set my machine in comfortably while I sleep.
Around a million dollars for the surgery and everything. Thankful for good insurance.

Syncardia Total Artificial Heart.

I moved back in with my mother and doordash/uber when I can. I am still applying for disability but the office has no fucking idea what I have and thinks it's bullshit. They made me see their doctor and tried to do an EKG which is POINTLESS without a real heart. So maybe they understand now.

holy fuck bro. Age?

I thought my genetic condition was a shit hand.

If it makes you feel better we all meet up in the end no matter what you do in life - 6 fooot under.

If I was you I would maybe start weed or something to take out the pain and make me feel better. Game everyday and don't give too many fucks OP.

Think of the positives. No one will judge you for sitting around naked all day surfing the interweb, gaming all day - sounds like heaven to me.

katv.com/news/health/21-year-old-receives-arkansass-first-ever-total-artificial-heart-transplant

This is another dude my age. Reached out to him but haven't heard back yet. He's been in the hospital for a while. I'm one of the few patients to go home and do really well.

Post pic of your chest with tubes coming out.

Can you have sex with your gf?

>do an EKG
Isn't this test suppose to show if there is a problem with you heart rate or something like that? I'm not a doctor and this seems retarded even to me
"Wow your heartrate is pretty elevated, but why does it stay perfectly still at 125 bpm?".....

this machine has given me the best excuse for anything. Got out of a speeding ticket doing 100 in a 60. "But muh batteries are dying and I need to get home"

Mind if I ask what your problem is?

Kek

...

Can you overclock yourself?

It would be awesome to jerk off and never get tired, or run like 400 miles.

You need a turbo of sorts.

wtf OP man, that is some hard core shit right there Sup Forumsro

Lmao no I can't :-( the max bpm the machine can be set to is 150 and only the doctors can change it. They are asking for input on the next machine going through trials so I'll be able to ask for the ability to overclock it and put it into turbo mode.

Rippo

I know how shitty heart problems are. I got a ventricular tachycardia. Do you got any problems with your heart before? I wish you good luck, my friend.

kek'd

If you take off the heart, would you die?

You need a way to add oxygen, dopamine, steroids, HGH, Adrenaline and some way to combat lactic acid.

You are like one device away from becoming a fucking cyborg super human.

WAIT WAIT WAIT

Since you actually have no heart that means your heart can't get fucked up by coke.

You literally can't get a fucking heart attack.

WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU NOT ONE COKE AND VIAGRA ALL THE FUCKING TIME

Seriously, I'd be just nutting in cheap eastern european whores all fucking day long.

No shit retard

You could control your body temperature so you would never overheat.

This is future shit.

do you play league of legends?if no, why not?lots of heartless people play that game

Holy shit.

He can't die!

Do heroin man! Fuck yeah speedball.

True, but too high blood pressure will overload the machine. Also they drug test me in order to stay on the transplant list. I almost came close to not being on the list because I had a history of marijuana use.

>Mind if I ask what your problem is?
rare genetic mutation. Chronic pancreatitis ---> high chance of pancreatic cancer.

A guy from the states whom I was in touch with online was diagnosed with it and died in under a years time at the age of 28.

Close to my current age. The problem is that I can't go full chill mode in case I survive into my 40's and beyond and have achieved nothing in life.

On the other hand I'm torn between working more and studying less to have an easier life now.

Led to a lot of procrastination in my life in terms of achievements. Either live in the moment or study hard and cash out a better life in a future I may or may not have.

My issue pales in comparison to you. I feel both of us were dealt a shitty hand.

so is it a thing that looks like a heart or does it work based on a turbine-system with a little pump?

in other words: do you have a heartbeat or are you a vampire?

good luck bro

also, if you enjoy playing games, play Eve Online. It's free now and it's a shit game but it has one of the best communities out there. Most MMO's people are microphone-shy and pretend they have no microphone because they don't want you to know they're 12. In eve online everybody is 25+ with kids I'm not even joking. There are some caring and kind people out there hiding between between the campers and 0-morals scammers. You just have to join the right player corporation and get on teamspeak and say hi.

The game is garbage if you don't join a player corp tho. I reccomend joining Brave Newbies Inc. within the first 30 minutes of playing. But as a member back when I used to play, I'm pretty biased.

Nigga you got aids

looks like fucking garden hoses. i know that scar, but only had bypass surgery. i feel for you young man. and i'm sorry you're going through it. but you're tough, so hang in there a while longer until you get a transplant.

then when you get your transplant, you can go out and nig it up like that one kid.

>it would probably feel like having a heart attack

No, it wouldn't. Heart attack hurts because a part of your heart, the muscle, isn't getting the oxygen it needs. He has no heart.

All he would most likely feel are the effects of a major blood loss - except in his case it's not a blood loss it's lack of blood circulation.

That would be dizziness, shortness of breath and rapid breathing, more dizziness and loss of consciousness.

People who don't blaze deserve to die.

There I said it. Fucking inhuman freaks.

What happens if you are near an EM pulse?

Does your heart make a sound? Can you hear it? Can your gf hear it if she rests her head on your chest?

Does the machine have any settings? Like, "sitting in front of PC" setting which keeps your heart rate lower and then when you go have sex you gotta turn on "sex time" mode to up your heart rate so you don't pass out while fucking.

He could install an AIDS filter.

Just spin the blood and separate the AIDS and kill it with UV light.

OP is immortal.

He gets more powerful.

a man with robotic parts is called cyborg you uneducated fuck
i guess you can t even tell the difference between an android and a synth, pathetic

Idk if it pales in comparison dude, it's still pretty heavy. In my case there's a "cure", I can still get a heart transplant and life for maybe 20 years. There's a clear way out I mean. I wish you the best of luck man. If this has taught me anything it's to live in the moment life's too short.

How do you feel about humans now that you are a cyborg.

You gonna do us dirty?

so they dissected you heart without finding a cause ? and what about donor list do you get informed about you getting closer too a transplant ?

Not OP but he said it's fixed at 125, and doctors only can change it to a max of 150.
Read the thread FFS

What about your general body/fitness? Are you getting fat because you can't really exercise? Do you lose weight because of being always tired, and maybe not eating much? Do you have to do some exercise like apartment bike to keep your body as healthy as possible?

Haha no settings unfortunately. I can chill in front of the tv then sex and then walk around but all my fatigue will hit at once. It will alarm if I'm overloading the machine.

Why do these cybernetic women have mallets, saws and shovels? shouldn't they have spatulas, soap dispensers and scrub brushes?

Did you ever have to tell your gf to slow the fuck down while you're having sex because you're starting to overload the machine?

How the hell has that sorry excuse for a heart kept you alive up until then ? The right ventircle's floppy as fuck.

I'm regaining energy and strength. I just walk a lot take my dog to the park just try to get out. But I'm on a lot of medication to regulate my blood and it causes fatigue and makes it hard to put on weight because I'm on a chemo med to regulate white blood cell count.

All you need to do is jump from a high bridge and get lost.

Would that be painful?

I let that mf beep better to go out in bliss

...

and why do you have a keyboard? i m pretty sure not to make old jokes because you suck man

That's what the doctors said, I was extremely lucky to still be alive.

can you tell us about your condition and general life before the operation?

were you a fat kid or a skinny kid? did you always have heart problems leading up to this or only a short time before you got the artificial heart?

how do I know I don't have a shit heart?

have you ever dropped the machine, or ripped some of the tubes out on accident ? it should crash your blood pressure and make you faint in like 5 seconds from what i read ?

They think leofflers endocarditis. But still idiopathic really nothing to 100% attribute it to. I had a lot of symptoms of a lot of things.

I don't, cartilage is mostly gone, had wrist surgery, and most of my joints pop a lot when I rotate them

wish you the best user, meaning to live as long as its possible with your artificial heart

...

.

Shit would be sooo cash

My dad had a heart condition that couldn't be healed at his time. He was supposed to die in his early teenage years.

He got, when he was almost dead, a new kind of surgery at 12 years old. He was the first person ever to survive to this. He needed a second surgery in his twenties, and had a plenty life and survived until 60+ years old.

He had two children (my sister and me) and three grandchildren. We're all here because of him, and we loved him the most. He was the first father ever.

This year has been the 10th anniversary of his passing. It still hurts, of course, but I feel lucky and I'm very happy.

That could be your story, too. Healthcare evolves pretty fast. You can't know.

tl;dr: there's hope. KEEP FIGHTING. Good luck.

I had no problems whatsoever. I was fit I played a lot of sports in high school and was always skating. But the symptoms started with major fatigue, which I thought was just my depression and weed usage, but then my organs started failing and I couldn't breath and I gained 30 pounds. You can't really tell if something is wrong unless you get an EKG and even then you still need a heart cath to find anything concerning. As long as you aren't bloating up and feeling like you're about to suffocate you are ok.

>If this has taught me anything it's to live in the moment life's too short.

I really wish it was that simple. What am I meant to do give up on my university education just so I can live in the moment. It has the been the ultimate dilemma I've been dealing with.

I'm planning to just go hard for my long term goals. Keep an eye on things. At the first signs of cancer start cashing out whatever I have and go traveling around the world. Fuck spending my last year/s wasting away due to chemotherapy in a hospital.

you would pass out in a matter of seconds, it would be as close to painless as possible

tl;dr means: too long didn't read

He evolves into an super-powered android killing-machine.

Thank you for this, very inspiring. Sorry to hear about him passing but it sounds like he kicked ass.

People have been using it to mean "in short" since as long as I can remember.

The machine shears the blood when its thick, so I'm on a lot of blood thinners to prevent that. But this is what happened when I was out on the more powerful machine in the hospital. It destroyed my blood and made me piss black.

I didn't even know you could get complete artificial hearts. Shit's got me interested.

Are there any upsides to having a artificial heart? or only negatives? list some of the best and worst parts of having it.

is it weird seeing your own organ sliced open like that, knowing it's yours and that if it wasnt replaced you would be dead?

are the tubes visible under clothes? say i walked past you on the street wold i notice?

and, is there any foods you're not allowed to eat? like high cholesterol ?

That's why he's using it to say "if you didn't want to fully read it when you saw its lenght, here's the core message in it:"

Can we have a picture of the machine? The way you described it made me think you were bedridden and hooked up to something, but you go for walks somehow. I would very much like to see this to satisfy my increasing curiosity.

wait why is your cartilage fucked up? Is it the meds? The lack of blood flow before getting the machine? A side effect of the machine?
And when you say they pop off, is it painful? Or do you do it sometime for "fun" or to pass the time? I can do some weird things with my wrists without pain and i often do it when i'm bored because i find the "plop" sound it makes when it come back funny.

Is it difficult to get a full mast stiffy with all that shit in your chest?
