NFL MVP?

It basically comes down to 4 dudes, right?

>Brady
Great stats, went 11-1 as the starter but the pats also went 3-1 without him.
>Zeke
Also great stats. Pretty much the whole Dallas offense, but much of that is due to having the best o-line in the league.
>Ryan
Great stats again. Leader of the best offense in the league. Kinda dome babbyish though. His RBs do serious work for him with the YACs. Also, Julio.
>Rodgers
Again, great stats, despite going through a long slump losing several games. But for the last two months he has arguably been playing the position the best it's ever been played.

Who do you got Sup Forums?

It's already been decided. Ryan was voted first team All-Pro and thus will be MVP

BUT so was Zeke

>again, great stats
>again great stats
>again great stats
>again great stats
>slump meme

Nice breakdown faggot

It'll probably be either Rodgers of Ryan

Elliott won't get it because >imblying anything other than a QB will get that award in this era

Brady won't get it because of the 3-1 thing, but more so because the suspension gives people/voters who don't like him/patriots an excuse not to vote for him (a reasonable one tbqh)

Ryan's offensive stats are easily the best this season, so my guess is he wins it.

Award voting has become so numbers driven in recent years, most voters don't actually watch em all play they'll just look at the end of season stat lines and make their decision that way.

But Matt Ryan was better than Zeke. All of your arguments against against him are bogus. You cite YAC, but he was the best deep ball passer in the league. You cite Julio, but he missed two games and was a non factor in many more. Elliott had a good, but not a historically good, season. That's not worthy of MVP.

Rodgers deserves it. Ryan will get it.

Stats don't tell the whole story you fucking shitlord. Brees constantly finishes like top 4-5 in most of the major stats and never is in the conversation for MVP.

It's between Aaron and Matt. Matt deserves it for superior season performance, and he's Matty Ice. It wouldn't be a crime if Aaron won it.

>Passing yards
>attempts
>major stats

for most normies, passing yards is a super important stat

I think this.

The Packers go as Rodgers goes. There isn't another team in the league that depends on a single players performance more.

Ryan did have a great year though.

Rodgers literally carried that team to 6 (now 7) straight wins and a division title after everyone left them for dead. Look at the stats and you'll see the only difference is his performance. They were a sub-500 team until Rodgers became Rodgers again, then they went on a tear because HE went on a tear. It's most valuable player, and Aaron Rodgers is more valuable to the Packers than Matt Ryan is to the Falcons.

Dak will get RotY and Zeke will get OPotY, Ryan or Brady will get MVP

Raider fags are going to cry about how Carr deserved it, just like they think Khalil deserves DPotY (since he won't win that ever)

If the Packers make the Superbowl, Rodgers will be MVP regardless if they win or lose.

Otherwise, I think it'll be Matt Ryan.

But the whole reason they were in the shitter to begin with was because Rogers was playing like shit senpai.

Wire to wire, Ryan hasn't had any bad stretches like Rogers did.

That's not what most valuable means. It means who is most valuable of all players in the league, i.e. who had the best season. Otherwise the MVP would just go to good QBs on mediocre teams every year. There's also really no way of measuring which team would be better without a player.

Who the frick is saying Carr deserved it. He did good but MVP? Frick outta here.

Exactly, and he redeemed himself.

Not to mention the NFC North is a far more competitive division than the South. Each NFC South game is a softball being lobbed at the Falcons.

I'm starting to notice all of the arguments against Ryan don't actually stand up to reason. The Falcons had the second hardest slate of opposing defenses in the league.

first time on Sup Forums?

And yet he threw for less TDs while having an offense with far more weapons. Rodgers was literally (LITERALLY, no bullshitting) using a WR as a RB a majority of the season.

Wait guys...

What if they do that gay shit where they do the co-MVP? Rodgers and Ryan.

Not to mention Rodgers was at midway through the year accountable for 100% of his team's TDs, passing and rushing. Still finished higher than 85%, led his team in rushing TDs and was 100 yards away from leading his team in rushing yards as well.

Ryan still played better. It's close.

>he threw for less TDs

because unlike "padding my stats at the 1 yard line" Rogers, Matty Ice hands it off to his RB to score from the goal line

He threw about 100 less passes. And his offense didn't have more weapons. You know who was at WR behind Julio? A guy who couldn't cut it as the Bengal's #3 receiver, a Browns castoff, and a second year guy who was useless last season. At TE they had a rookie and a player who couldn't even catch a pass until this year, and then a couple practice squad scrubs (who both caught TDs). Everyone said the offense was just Julio and Freeman this off-season and the team would suck. But now that Ryan is lighting it up, it's because they're all-stars?

If Ryan wins the MVP you know the league is a pandering joke. Guy shouldn't even be a candidate

That meme better never happen again

Not to sound like a dick, but I'd prefer Ryan to win it because there's no way this season was anything other than an anomaly for him. He'll never be in that upper echelon again, so let him be rewarded for his season when he did get to that level. Brady and Rodgers are multi-MVP winners already, let's get someone new in the mix.

Matt Ryan is the most underrated player in the history of the NFL. Anything he does, it's never because of him according to people and that pisses me off. That's only because niggas don't watch the Falcons like that. I've been a fan since fucking the Chris Chandler era. Anyways Matt Ryan is a fucking stud. His only bad season was last year, and when you break it down, it really wasn't that bad at all considering all the shit he dealt with. Matt Ryan isn't a big name, and it sucks that he isn't getting his fair shake because of it. Sure he has Julio, but even without him Matt Ryan is a fucking monster. He didn't have Julio for his first 3 seasons and he put up absolutely great numbers and was the leader of the Team (No, Roddy White isn't in the same League as Julio faggots). Matt Ryan is the true fucking MVP. He put up historic Hall of Fame numbers this year. Shit that if someone with a huge name like Rodgers or Brady had, they'd be an absolute lock. He has been consistent all year. Rodgers was only good the last six weeks, and those six weeks his numbers are comparable to Ryan.

(you)

>Rodgers was only good the last six weeks, and those six weeks his numbers are comparable to Ryan.

If you're just looking at stats then sure they're kinda close. But when you give it the eye test Ryan can't hold a candle to Rodgers. Rodgers is fucking destroying defenses. Putting up 30+ on too 5 defenses with his arm and his feet. He's a one man wrecking crew right now and it's insane.

pats fan here
it's going to ryan and anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional
faced the facts when the pro bowl picks came out

>NFC North is a far more competitive division than the South

Reminder the Cowboys swept that shit conference and they deflated our strength of schedule.

Winning MVP could also ruin his career following that. The expectations would be set even higher for him and when he doesn't perform people will get pissed.
