UEFA confirms that Rugby is the GOAT sport

>The Six Nations is on average attended by more people than any other sport in the world, according to a new UEFA report.

>It is one of rugby's flagship events each year and attracts an average supporter base of 72,000.

>soon

Wtf how

>muh attendance

In person attendance is literally meaningless in a world where games are broadcast live on television

>grand slam

>Six Nations
>its not even an event that the All Blacks take part in

POO PEELAND UTTERLY BTFO

>Six Nations
>Number of games:
>15

Only because Italy has played two home and three away last year.

> 72,000

A Rugby field is fucking gigantic, so obviously they can fit a lot of people in the stadium. If the superbowl were played in an arena that could seat 100,000 people, then it would be sold out, too.

>rugby competition with more ""''''''countries'"' involved has more attendance
Who would have thunk it. I certainly can't connect the dots here

Wouldn't raise the average up enough even then mate

>15 matches

>muh per matchita

No need to be upset that your "spoort" sucks

Supply and demand, if NFL stadiums sell out why not build a bigger stadium to get more people in.
Oh yeah they don't sell out, look at any shit teams' stadium when they are 2-12

it's still a sellout, lots of folks just don't show up

and you can only make the stadium so big before people can't even see the field. the nosebleeds at many new NFL fields make it so you almost watch the game on your phone more than actually watching it in person

>2017
>watching games from nosebleeds instead of your 4k 70 inch tv

The pitch is more or less the same size as an American football pitch

>domestic competition
>winners are crowned the world champions
>2015+2
>thinking the atmosphere at a live game can be substituted with a large tv and a surround sound system

Its like 2/3rds the size
Not only are their "Athletes"' hippos but they can't cope with a larger size without dying from low blood sugar

Even in higher seats the atmosphere at test matches is great.
I went to see Wales Australia in Cardiff a few years back and the whole stadium sang Waltzing Matilda before the game
The Army Navy match at HQ was great as well, everyone was hammered

Even better, people buy tickets and then can't be arsed to go. Shows how much they value the spectacle.
Weird people complain about terrible views, maybe Americans can't build stadiums because the biggest NFL stadium is the same size as the biggest rugby stadium and I've never heard of anyone complaining about that.

I've played both sports, the pitches are literally the same size
Gridiron players are stupidly unfit though, my first training session there a few people were late so for a ''gruelling'' ''punishment'' we had to run just under a mile
the number of people who were just about dying was absurd

tbf Gridiron players are used to having a minutes rest after ten seconds of exercise

American football: 110m x 48m
Rugby: 144m x 70m

Those both might include the in goal though

It does include the in goal, in gridiron the in goal (and actually the whole pitch) is a regulation size whereas in rugby it isn't
I know in my local league teams with particularly fat and smelly forwards make their pitches narrower

Yea it was hand egg I don't know if it included the in goal.
For international games rugby is
>the dimensions should be as close to the maximum sizes as possible, and not less than 94 metres in length for the field of play, 68 metres in width, and with a minimum in-goal length of 6 metres. Unions wishing to vary minimum or maximum dimensions should apply for dispensation to World Rugby.
Only the in goal varies everything else is pretty much always 100m x 70m (which is the maximum size) which is still makes American football 1/2 to 2/3 the size

>muh grand slam

Aussie Open soon

>15 games in total

>literally the lowest total attendance

>number of games
>2417
WHAT THE FUUUUCK

>basedball no 1

>not even the lowest in the top 20
>literally the lowest though

A FUCKING LEAF

>grand slam

o my bad less people watch cricket than rugby.
>muh global sport

how much does a Six Nations ticket cost?
how much does a NFL or World Cup ticket cost?

>total attendance rank: 48

British Pound and Euro are more valued than unitedstatian dollar

they're just not as inflated

you're braindead stupid, please refrain from posting

>implying thou're correct

Football is much better to watch on TV.
Baseball live is comfy as fuck but most of the time you just end up chitchatting with people around you and forget about the game.
Basketball and hockey are far better live.

>no rugby trampionship

1994 World Cup (68,991 on average) beats out the NFL for any season.

If the World Cup is hosted in the US again it'll beat out the NFL again.

>Its like 2/3rds the size
They played NFL games at Twickers

argies m8

Don't mind me, just posting the best game played in an NFL stadium last year

Why is Ireland standing in a buttcheek formation?

Ready to be penetrated?

Why is New Zealand slapping all over their body? Are they looking for their car keys?

What a shitty game..

Still better than American handegg though, at least they actually play for more than 10 minutes

>amerifats and spics will never know this feel

I pity you tßh

>CFL
