Great documentary. I tried looking for this a while back can't find it anywhere not even to buy legit.

It was just uploaded again today it looks like. Watch it now before it gets taken down, it's been on yt before but someone puts a copyright claim on it.

FUCKING HELLS BELLS

I sometimes think this when my team concede horribly. Underrated.

F

On the plus side since Roy Hodgson GT is no longer the worst England manager.

Is this some fagball player or something?

He was shit manager desu. A joke. Apparently a nice guy though. Not worthy of a sticky.

lovineverylaugh

literally who

>Graham Taylor has died aged 72.
You mean the gay guy from Monty Python? I thought he died decades ago.

He is more or less a literally who though. Only really well known in England and not even that much due to his mixed record, see here

Show how American and plastic this board really is

>shit manager
>a joke
>not very well known even in England

If you like football and aren't well aware of who Graham Taylor is then you must literally be 14. He was destroyed by the press rightly or wrongly but he was a top man and had a very decent record at club level.

I had never heard of him, but I am very sorry for his family.

Everything to do with England should be documented like this. Then shown a few years later when no tactics are given away and the press aren't going to scrutinise and twist things.

bbc.com/sport/football/38601781

damn, I feel bad about mocking him now, although he was a shit england manager.

>bought based john barnes in exchange for a kit (socks not included) after a tip from a taxi driver
>4th division to 2nd place finish in the first within 5 years with watford
>all watford players contractually obliged to do 7 hours community service each week
>was best man at a fan's wedding after meeting him at a book signing
>attempted citizen's arrest on fan that spat at him
>took on a racist who fucked with john barnes

;_;

RIP in pieces.

Weird that some people tried to brand him a racist a little while ago. In that documentary it shows him having a go at the fan behind him who calls John Barnes a black bastard.

>and aren't well aware of who Graham Taylor is then you must literally be 14

That's why I added "and not even that much". His best days were in the 70s and 80s and he never won a trophy (unless you count play-offs and lower division titles), hardly any kids or even some 20somethings have much of a reason to be told about him unless they support Watford or wonder why England couldn't qualify for the one World Cup where an American was likely to ask "where' England?"

Also dunno if he was a shit manager like the other guy said but he's definitely a joke. Inverting the Pyramid talks about his tactical style which was great for relatively weaker teams but hardly a reliable formula in the long-term, especially as the team begin to have expectations to finish every season well. He was completely out of his depth as England manager.

>Tfw cheating Ronald Koeman cost him his job

Why are the British still allowed to make threads about irrelevant persons? Didn't Americans fight a war two hundred years ago over this exact issue?

rip

>saved Paul McGrath 's career after his suicide attempt
Thanks Graham

>Blaming the player for a referees fault

True. The player has a right to take a man down in exchange for a red card.

>Seaman's goalkeeping in that match

I'm sure that even Koeman was surprised that he wasn't sent off.

He said sorry to the player he pulled down.

Quite literally who?
