If you San Diego faggots wanted the Chargers so bad why did you democratically vote "NO" on a new stadium?
Besides San Diego is a ceespool filled with hedge fund managers and hobos anyway
Here is a video depicting the average """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""people""""""""""""""""""" who dwell in San Diego, embarrassing representation of our great country
Just like most teams moving, people are up in arms now but once there's a great player that people associate as being a Los Angeles Charger, no one will give a shit. People outside of Seattle are fine with the OKC Thunder now because of KD and Westbrook, the Titans because of McNair etc.
Logan Hernandez
>mfw rivers wins a super bowl in LA, forever cucking the city of san diego
Anthony Flores
Only San Diego city got to vote. San Diego county is much larger and a more accurate representatjon of the fanbase
Jacob Cook
the questions is, why don't more cities refuse to cave in to the owner's threats.
teams would stop extorting more money if people stopped letting them.
Adam Mitchell
If there is one thing I wish we could copy from European sports it would be keeping the same stadium for more then 30 seconds and upgrading it every decade or so.
Christopher Peterson
Only the city of SD got to vote and there's a bunch of fags and liberals in here who only care about roads.
Nobody liked the plan proposed for a new stadium. We wanted to overhaul Qualcomm and bring it up to date but Spanos rejected any offer that wasn't for a new stadium downtown.
And most importantly, nobody likes Dean Spanos. We all love the players and what they've done for us. We liked going to games on Sundays and hanging out at the bar with fellow fans. But since 2013 when Spanos hired Fabiani they made it abundantly clear that their only plans were either to extort the city of San Diego to build them a golden palace or to go to LA.
Would you really give somebody your dollars if they just don't care about you? If you have one hand on our shoulder and one hand on the door then you may as well head out the door. Commit to the city or fuck off. But he wouldn't commit to the city or try to work with it, despite what Goodell will tell you. All he did was extort and threaten us. Good riddance.
The players we will continue to love and support, but Spanos and the snakes he put into the Chargers organization will NEVER be welcome back in San Diego.
Brandon Carter
Fuck off nigger. Billionaires shouldn't get welfare or tax cuts.
Brandon Sullivan
Why the fuck would all of SD County get to vote on taxes that only would have affected the city of SD?
Juan Rodriguez
>one Owl appearance in 56 years >ONE >got btfo
It's a pathetic, shit franchise that was always under the hoof of the Broncos. Who cares
Jose Wright
Tell that to Repukelishits and Trumptards who value corporate greed over American citizens
Christopher King
Taxpayer funded stadiums are horseshit, I don't give a fuck about the chargers but the la thing looks like it's going to be a huge fuckup. The most popular team in Los Angeles will be the Oakland/LV Raiders.
Should have just moved the Chargers to Toronto or London already, unless they're really gonna expand
Ryder Allen
I agree in theory, but the reality is that another city will give it to them if yours doesn't
Cooper Brooks
And our city will be better off because of it.
James Lee
>horseshit How? This is a capitalism. You vote with your money. Some casino in Vegas is willing to put up, what, half a billion dollary doos because it wants a football team there? There's no wrong or right here. Las Vegas wanted a football team, so they paid for it. SD didn't, so they didn't. Ya, Spanos didn't show San Diego any loyalty, but nobody is forcing him too.
Colton Foster
Good, let them. They will objectively suffer economically for it.
Jose Cooper
>Billionaires shouldn't get welfare or tax cuts. Even if they're creating jobs. My city, Indianapolis, built a new stadium and we got a Superbowl out of it. The Colts being in a lot of revenue for our city and Peyton Manning even built fucking hospitals. This meme of wealthy people being evil, mustache-twirling villains really needs to die. Another city offered the Chargers a new stadium. Period. LA will reap the financial rewards of it.
Brody Adams
*bring in
Tyler White
San Diego (the City, County, and SDSU) offered $375 million, and the NFL offered $300 million, so there was $675 million on the table for the Chargers. Estimated cost of a new stadium in Mission Valley was $1.2 billion, including contingency. Left a 'gap' of $525 million for the Chargers to fill.
Instead, Chargers are paying $550 million in relocation fee to LA. They are paying more to leave and be a tenant in Kronke's stadium than they would have paid to play in a new stadium in San Diego.
Dean wanted a downtown stadium or bust and didn't give two shits about actual San Diego fans. He's a piece of shit.
Ryan Clark
LA won't reap shit.
NO ONE WILL GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THE CHARGERS!
NO ONE WILL CARE ABOUT ANOTHER SHITTY NFL TEAM WHEN THEY CAN SHIT ON THE RAMS!
You are fucking retarded if you think anyone except Spanos.
Benjamin Wright
Bootlicker detected
Joseph Turner
tax payer stadiums can be good but the city should own the arena and get the shekels not some billionaire
Sebastian Sullivan
>things that will never happen
Brayden Mitchell
>bunch of fags and liberals
stopped reading right there bud.
Landon Barnes
las vegas doesn't have a team you fucking sperg
Brandon Perry
Tell that to kanjiklub
Logan Diaz
They're going to make more money in LA. The cost of moving there isn't all that relevant. Quit whining faggot.
Ethan Walker
How will they make more money with no one coming to games?
