ive been downloading off the pb since i was 15 years old

im fucking 27 now

and have gone thru several different isps
not even a single cease and deist notification

Somewhere between 0 and 0. I've never heard of anyone getting arrested pirates.

doubt they have time or resources to worry about this

100% all torrents are being monitored
use a vpn and safe
simple
since ur in the states I would strongly recommend that

Should I avoid downloading newer titles?

You don't need a VPN for gods sake. The chances of actually getting arrested for piracy are next to none. If they started seriously persuing piracy they'd literally have millions of cases spanning all states.

make sure there are a lot of seeds and leechs and by trusted posters
look at the comment section

I have been busted 5 times. They watch. New and popular titles are the most dangerous. Done be a fool. Use a vpn. Mine is 35 bucks a year.

they do
every once and awhile the usa makes an example out of a few dummies who dont protect their shit

if ur going to break the law dont be a fuking moron

does being a minor help? Like i'm only 16

movies are gay

Try out a seedbox maybe?

Ok. Delete the torrent after seeding. I know it's being a dick, but you won't get caught.

Got a letter in 2015. Never acknowledged receiving it. Porn is the only industry that refuses to prosecute pirates.

underage b&

reported

THIS. like your already saving a ton by watching the movies for free 35 dollars a year WILL NOT hurt you. Yea theres "next to no chance" but hello? People HAVE been arrested so wouldn't you rather just pay 35 for a good vpn and sleep better at night? common sense

>MODS are on their way.

Got to bed Billy, and ask your mom for a Netfilx account. They now have pokemon.

so scary

Prepare to be b& m8

i meant to type 161 years old sorry not 16

Edit: Like what if i'm only 16

You should be banned anyway, go have some diarrhea faggot

Charter (Spectrum) has sent me a couple DMCA notices, but nothing has come out of it.

No they will sue your parents.

For anyone to sue you, at least in the United States, they have to sue you in your jurisdiction. Live in a huge city? Be careful. Live in buttfuck PA? Torrent all you like.

You must turn off seeding at all. you do seed while downloading dummy.

Fucking computer illiterates.

I used to use Peerblock even though it was apparently a placebo and didn't do much. But they started asking for money and I bailed. I've been using torrents and ddl sites for years without anything happening.

...

I think all they need to know is if you are active in the swarm (or whatever the term is). I don't think it matters to anyone coming after you if you were merely downloading.

790 million people actively using the internet every hour since 2009 and you think you're going to be found and prosecuted? the chances of that happening are 790,000,000 to 1. so stop being a pussy, download what you can before file sharing becomes extinct.

youre both retarded

the whole concept revolves around peer to peer connections

there is no getting around having your ip visible to others within the swarm regardless of what caps you set your upload speeds to

youre both fucking computer illiterate

And don't forget that there are direct download sites that use cyberlockers. I prefer 2ddl myself.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing user. It would pay you to understand how torrenting works

why even download? I haven't DL a movie in yrs. I just stream all the latest movies and shows. Just like nextflix, but better.

and it's an honest question. Why do you guys download the movies when you can simply stream the latest releases?

fucking MODS MODS MODS

a minor slipped in here

This guy prbly doesnt even know what an algorithm is
let alone a fucking program
he prbly thinks youtube has employees that go through ur "watched history" in order recommend videos for you

please tell me youre kidding

nah im in no mood to school your ass just kill yourself

Where?

Are those popcorn forks that make you download something worth it? I guess they've started using torrents.

Personally, I find sites that just stream plain and simple. When I have to download something to watch content, I get wary.

Sometimes they just make an example out of you and throw huge fines your way and make it public in media or some shit.
Gotta be unlucky to get caught.

i still got their last lists they ever done, plus some new site updates new lists. i go through it and delete this shit called bogon cause i thnik its dumb and their idea or something but tis allin one list andtogether and..
i can run on any p2p network and watch halliburton addresses fly by
f13 match online on cracked servers
same wanna see the while iplay what happens?

I'm not the same user, but hit google, type in the name of a movie and 123 afterward.

They didn't say what they thought, they asked what the chances were. Do you always answers questions you project onto others as asking?

Depends how you do it. You're probably more likely because you have to ask.

One time i came home from vacation and my internet was off and so I call customer service and they say "yeah, we got here you been downloading movies" and I say "yeah, well, fuck you turn my internet back on".
So consider using a VPN or something so your ISP doesn't fuck you up.

dude, it's the internet, not real life. You're not going to be arrested unless you own the pb.

>there is no getting around having your ip visible to others within the swarm regardless of what caps you set your upload speeds to

Woa nigger jew, let me stop you here.
The odds of some cuck in hollywood searching the most seeded torrent on TPB and capturing all peer IP addresses is very probable. Like others have stated, use a fucking VPN. The fact that most of you jews are IT savvy and are NOT encrypting your home connection is fucking mind boggling.

they been cracking down on 123, but they keep changing their address. Still way better than torrents. Less work, less chances of getting viruses, and as someone already mentioned, it feels less sketchy when you're simply streaming. That crap is nowhere near my hard drive.

Plex. Yes you can stream most of the active or popular media at the time; however having it stored is far superior. I host my Server and giving it out to family is ultimately better. Netflix and other streaming services take an estimate $300 per year and that's not counting your cable TV service. I've turned around and investd that money into my storage system and host it all; including IPTV services I pay $0 each month for digital entertainment.

if this 123 stuff is real i love u bless u

I met a girl who for some reason wanted to work for the FBI and she told me that you have to download/distribute $10,000 worth of content in a period of six months before the FBI cares. That's actually pretty hard to do much less prove. The odds are very low unless you get a cease and desist and ignore it multiple times. Even then encrypt and dban should do.

yep
your stupid
you watched that movie on your computer somehow cause of magic
i dont worry one way or the other and when they think they can sell everythign let them try it idiots

>op dun goofed
MODS GET IN HERE

nobody is catching anybody! calm your tits, and it's all free.

>be me 16
>in HighSchool
>Download movies using extension on firefox and a legit "watch online free" websites
>One day sitting in class hear a kid say "How are you watching that?"
>"come here"
>show him my stash of downloaded movies
>"Can I buy one from you???"
holyshit.jpg
>I give him SpiderMan1-3 for $20
>Sold movies from my usb drive at school for him and others for about 3 years
>Never got caught by anyone

im from the mpaa - everybody in this thread is going to be subpoenaed.

kek

I've been doing it for over 6 years, never so much as gotten a cease and desist letter from my internet provider.

just don't seed for infinity

Thanks for the confession. We will be dealing with it ASAP.

fuck u fake ass niggas

Tell that to Jamal when he's raping your nerdy white ass.

>watch online free
>legit
choose one, asscow

Fuck okay here's what happens. When you download/seed you show up in the tracker list. There's a bunch of people (security companies) that make a fortune off snitching. They use various methods, mostly programs to read the tracker lists and then document them. Those companies sell these lists of hundreds of thousands of IPs to the service provider that their subnet is under. Comcast is the major buyer of these, and is the most active about sending out these letters as both a deterrent to piracy, but more importantly to free up bandwidth. Use a VPN so that you don't show up as yourself in the list, especially if you use Comcast. Don't listen to these computer illiterate little shits that say it's never gonna happen, every day we are straying further and further from internet freedoms.

>subpoenaed
is that even a word?

Been torrenting movies for over 3 years. No VPN. Only had 1 DMCA request come from Comcast so far that was over a year ago.

Your isp will rather pay the small fines and keep your business to make more in the long run. You'll be fine and might get some warnings but as long as you're not uploading in mass quantities you'll be fine

Why are you still downloading movies? Are you a time traveller from 2011? Just buy a firestick and stream everything instantly. Stop going through the risk of downloading and even worse wasting space on your hard drive. There's no longer a reason to download anything but PC games anymore.

the question is
why is halliburton, and maybe amazon goes through on their adware spyware network built in game but
merck? halliburton? on a cracked servers list

oh where did my internet go when i lost my job cause i really dont do anything needed?
then you know where to shove that firestick
even 1 day i hope you kys

They probably won't arrest you but if your ISP sends you letters you are likely to be put on some sort of list / kicked off the ISP

The imporatant question is how can i torrent in public places like cafes and libraries and mcdonalds and shit.
Is there a way to fool the bandwidth monitors or something?

...

Cause Kodi is shit. Busted ass low quality repos that buffer for ages even with gigabit fiber. Shit sounds cool if you've never had a proper media setup

Streaming anything I want in 1080p with no buffering bro. Maybe you didn't learn how to work it right or your wifi is shitty?

You'll get caught downloading the latest tv shows and films, since I got a letter from my brother downloading shit, even though I had a seedbox.

You'll get warnings from your ISP, and you may even get sued, but it's unlikely that you'll go to jail for it.

A little bit of protection is warranted imo, VPNs are pretty cheap nowadays or get a seedbox, which is a server you rent for downloading and seeding torrents from. Seedboxes are essential for private trackers.

Also Peerblock is a placebo, don't use it.

These days if you get caught, they don't actually know who you are most of the time. They will just send your ISP a letter stating you should pay them X amount of dollars, and if you actually do you fucked up - that's how they find out who you are.

Otherwise, they have to go through a lengthy lawsuit they almost always drop - and it's almost always "Rightscorp" these days that goes after you.

They are basically copyright trolls who threaten you with bullshit letters. If you happen to get one, archive it and delete it and never look back.

These kikes won't want to actually spend a dime most of the time.

Because some people want quality, and many sites like Netflix and Crunchyroll are known to fuck up their streaming algorithms giving you a cucked experience.

This user is speaking the truth. Listen to him.

I just do. Never had a problem, either.

VPNs are pretty much the only way and spoofing your MAC address

fuck you

always a good idea. Probably out of reach for most internet users though

Dude... Calm the shit down.

Spoofing the MAC address maybe, but VPNs are retard proof. Most VPN companies out there, at least the popular ones (that allow torrenting) have VPN clients where all you do is set it up on your PC or phone and log in.

I'm sorry... What? I'm saying just hop on public networks and download. I never have problems. Sometimes some throttling. Last time I went grocery shopping I got all of AHS season 6 off the store's wifi.

Sorry I suggested just trying it.... I didn't know I did wrong.

funny, I apparently downloaded Outlast 2 while on vacation and some movies between the end of May and June and I haven't seen or heard of at least 3 of them.

because of the freedom to watch on airplane trips and motels with crappy wifi and touring other countries

some of us leave our mothers houses faggot

Change your wifi password and turn off the guest SSID. Faggot.

u might wanna delete that shit before the mods come, unless they already banned u
