ITT: things that trigger you an unreasonable anount

>5 minutes of silence before a "hidden track"

>clapping or snapping of fingers instead of snare on the backbeat

>songs about how tough it is "On the Road" touring

Fuck off. You wanna' come screed some concrete with me?

I actually love hidden tracks

...

>riff to so-called psychedelic classic is actually pinched from 'So What'

I'm bitching about the silence. So fucking annoying to have to manually skip to the start of the hidden track.

>whistling

This, (unless you are Morricone)

>song has kids' voices, laughs or cries

Yeah, that. It was one thing that made perfect sense in the days of albums, vinyl and CD, as it actually hid it and made it "secret." Now it's just an annoying relic that makes a two minute song last eight minutes when digitized because they keep the silence even though you have a track number and listing to skip to.

RIP hidden tracks.

>trap hi-hats in literally everything

>same song is broken up into multiple parts that immediately follow each other.

What song(s) do(es) that? Legitimately curious?

>same song is broken up into multiple parts that immediately follow each other.
>tfw you actually really like that for listening to different parts but during playback it adds a skip or replays part of a song in what's supposed to be a seamless piece

>20+ minute long tracks that only run for the first 8 or so

>singing gibberish/ screaming
>OhhhhaahhhoohhhWAHHHHHHHoohhhhhh AHHH AHHHHH WAHHHHHHH

fucking great gig in the sky

Stupid little frogposters.

Please do not bully my image it was all I had

>chanting the lyrics in chorus, especially in punk and metal
>speaking in a third person plural to fans of band, or demographic to evoke a cheap and easy feel of inclusion "we are we are, the youth of the nation" "we'll carry on! We'll carry on!"
>clean vocals in a chorus of a song otherwise comprised exclusively of singing
>nonsense words to fill up space. Like "woah" I can handle just singing without saying anything, but forcing in meme words like that is just obnoxious and makes me think of trashy pop
I kind of like this
This. I can handle it on an album, but on the official download of the track, it's uncalled for
Absolutely

*>clean vocals in a chorus of a song otherwise comprised of screaming
My bad

>rap skits
>harmonicas
>choir vocals
>audible "1-2-3" before band starts playing
>forced string arrangements in rock songs to give them "depth"
>synth trumpets
>jews
>instrumentals referred to as "songs"
>audible band banter after song ends
>album has no interludes
>track titles are all uppercase
>album title-track named after lyric in the chorus

>lyrics

You know, now that I'm thinking about it,
>band's self titled album isn't their debut or demo
>album cover is just band members standing...MENACINGLY
>censoring lyrics, especially on songs that are inherently inappropriate, even without the swear words.

>>instrumentals referred to as "songs"
only pretentious retards are triggered by this
pedantic as fuck

>jews
subtle

>songs about having writers block

I generally agree but at least one good one exists even if it isn't quite the point of the song

>song titles aren't correctly capitalized
>song references modern day products or companies (eg Facebook, XBox, CoD, I'm looking at you Steven Wilson)
>the artist is Oasis
>song uses proverbs in lyrics

I dunno, I like some mentioning of modern day products in the right context. Jeff Rosenstock and AJJ do it well in my opinion.

Nah, fuck you. It ain't a song unless there's singing.
