Why was he the perfect Bond?

Why was he the perfect Bond?

Because he's a slasher...of prices

because he was only in two bonds, and both those were kino

i mean the same logic fails when you apply it to OHMSS but whatever. dalton is best bond.

He's definitely the most underrated.

Was he in the living daylights or godleneye

Because he was essentially the combination of the serious dark Craig Bond and Sean Connery's suave and cool Bond.

imagine if Brosnan was only in GoldenEye

that's Tim Dalton

Tfw there will never be another Bond film as badass as License to Kill.

Good one lad.

He's the most dangerous Bond.

Ever.

Daily reminder that Dalton would be the undisputed GOAT Bond if he had starred in Goldeneye as originally planned.

see Brosnan's only good Bond was his first one.

>mfw my father looks like Young Pierce B.
Y am I ugly tho

GOTTA LICENCE TO KILLLL

He got one of Roger Moore's old scripts and a Miami Vice pastiche for both his movies. Still made them both work.

Think of him as being a head of the curve when it came to Bond. He was trying for the dark and gritty when the producers were stuck in 70s cheese mode. It took a decade of Brosnobond(tm) before the producers realised Dalton had the right idea and we got Casino Royale.

Imagine if they'd done CR as Dalton's first movie and hit the 2005 movie's tone. Probably would have tanked at the box office because audiences back then might not have wanted that but the critics would have raved over it.

He's the best actor but Sean was Bond

iktf, my dad could pass for Jude Law's brother but i literally got his only bad feature and inherited none of the good ones.

this was by far his best bond film

Because he's handsome but not too handsome, and there's something slightly dead in his eyes.

He looks the closest to the Bond of the novels.

i can't stand that fucking haircut / hairstyle

I GOTTA LICENSE TO KILL

AND YOU KNOW I'M GOING STRAIGHT FOR YOUR HEART

He looks like how James Bond looks to a person when they think James Bond.

If you were to take a hundred people off the street and ask them to describe James Bond, they'd either just say the Guy who just played him recently, whatever his name is, or this guy, depending on whether they associate James Bond with the character or just saw the last few movies.

That's not George Lazenby.

Why didn't he stay add Bond longer. His two movies are the best in the franchise imo

people say Brosnan is the best because of Goldeneye, but it is clear that was written with Dalton in mind, after that it went back to a amore campy goofier Bond.
If Dalton hadnt gotten fed up with the studio and ended his trilogy with goldeneye things would be very different

>tfw Mel Gibson took Dalton's leftover

Because both his movies were perfect.
Too bad these days the average moviegoer retard wanted a Roger Moore rehash instead.

Sanchez: "Problem solver."
Bond: "More of a problem eliminator."

Living Daylights was a total bore for me, I'll never understand the praise it gets, but Licence to Kill will always be one of the best bond films ever.

Maybe?

You are right. The pre production for Goldeneye originally was written for Dalton I am pretty sure.

Still Brosnan did a 10/10 job in that film and no doubt it is his best (no campiness cheesy comedy that we got in his other movies).

>Living Daylights was a total bore for me
No idea what you are talking about.

When did you last see it?
I rewatched it a few months ago (hadn't seen it in like 12 years) and absolutely loved it.

I still need to rewatch License

That brutal Cradle fight scene with Sean Bean is something that I wish we saw again in another Brosnan movie instead of the action feeling toned down.

Although the opening scene of Die Another Day before the credits to me was perfect with the gritty hovercraft chase.

I remember watching the Cradle chase and feeling the pain of Bond as he's jumping and smashing his body across the pathways and Alec has a bloody hand after their fight.

Really felt realistic and brutal

>tfw Goldeneye was written for Dalton

Just imagine how much different things would be if Dalton didn't drop out after the delays from the lawsuit. Let's face it, the 64 game is was made Brosnan "muh Bond" for the Millennials.

The Goldeneye game was the most violent Bond game ever. After that they did not allow any blood for the World Is Not Enough game (idk why) and hardly any blood in Brosnans other games.

I remember you could cover the enemies in blood

Yes. But... The Living Daylights was one of the worst Bond films and not because of Dalton who actually looked embarrassed playing a SJW Bond.

Then he did the more appropriate, rugged Bond in License to Kill which was the first PG13 Bond. then after 5 years of legal shit he got sick of waiting. I don't blame him. It's a shame because he would have been amazing in Goldeneye because it was so well-written.

Craig is good but he looks too much like a Chad or a club bouncer.

>worse hairline than Cavil
>perfect bond

pick one u stupid fag

I never noticed his hairline before until you just said it right now.

I guess Sup Forums has really made you inspect people

He still had more hair than Sean Connery.

According the you, Lazenby is the perfect Bond then because Conner had a wig, Moore and Brosnan both used minor hair pieces and Craig is going full pineapple bald.

Compare his hair here

Cause he became Lord President of Gallifrey!!!!!

To here. Did he really have extra hair pieces?

Bond

I loved the fucking monged out retard faces of the enemies in that game.

Because he had the closest resemblance to how Ian Fleming himself imagined and drew James Bond.

bond burger

Craig's voice melts me like butter. I think all it'd take to make me cum would be for him to just stroke my cock and talk in my ear.

Connery was always open about his baldness, apparently he would go to public events like premieres as he was, without the fake hair he used for Bond onscreen.

Best Bond is clearly David Niven.

Smiert Spionam

WHEEEERREEEEE HAS EVERYBOOODY GOOOOOOONE?

I watch a View to Kill thinking he's the one playing it.

I take it you ride.

...

>tfw movie posters will never be this good again

>Let's get a shot of Craig lying on the ground with some dust flying about with a white background
>GENIUS
Seriously what the hell has happened to movie posters nowadays?

At least it's not blue and orange.

not sure what you mean but dark blue posters like this I find really amazing.

I'd place World Is Not Enough as the second best Brosnan film after Goldeneye due to it having that kind of Dalton serious tone

It's a more recent trend than the Brosnan movies, but for a while fucking every movie poster was orange and blue since the color disparity apparently draws the eye. Don't know if it's still the case, actually been years since I've seen a movie poster in person.

World Is Not Enough is definitely second best Brosnan Bond.

I'm still pissed that everybody near me remember Goldeneye as cheesy Brosnan movie even though it is almost perfect agent movie: high stakes but personal or is it? I have nothing against cheesy fun but seeing intense action is more entertaining.

To be fair TRON kept up that colour tone throughout the movie so it's not like it was doing it purely for the poster
