Where were you when based JJ Abrams became the most recognized and influential director in Hollywood?
Masterpiece after masterpiece, he's consistently demonstrated his keen eye for cinematic perfection. This is no ordinary director. No, this kind of director only comes once in one hundred years. This century's Andrei Tarkovsky, JJ Abrams will usher in a new of age of film-making. Revolutionary in spirit, breathtaking in scope, JJ has his sights set on greatness. The bar has never been set so high.
Hold on to your hats, boys. This is only the beginning.
But he didn't do a good job at directing/making Force Awakens.
So much potential ruined and wasted. He edits his films in a too fast pace

>After the dying stormtrooper wipes his blood on Finn, Finn becomes shocked to see someone like him die. He then comes face to face with a villager as he doesn't to not shoot. This completes his character arc journey to the light side But JJ had to cut out this villager moment which was VERY IMPORTANT to Finn's character arc youtube.com/watch?v=BliTDc_WYy0
There is no blood in Star Wars. Ever. The entire prologue was bullshit ripped straight from every WW2 film ever.
Brayden Jackson
The problem with JJ is that he makes his films too action watered down. Force Awakens felt like a 95 minute action flick. It didn't have the slower paced magic star wars feel that the prequels had, that Empire Strikes Back had.
Not to mention there was no backstory into the explanation on how Snoke seduced Kylo as you read here
Nolan Butler
why is he giving me the finger?
Bentley Barnes
>Do you know a smoke ?
Jace Walker
Thats an entire movie not a first act
Michael Adams
>There is no blood in Star Wars. Ever.
Eli Brown
>Thats an entire movie You can do this in 40 minutes user. Won't take long at all.
Watch Batman Begins' first act
Jaxon Morales
>lets just completely take the piss out of the original films
Asher Jenkins
To be fair, the OT failed to outline Darth Vader. The fact that he's considered an iconic tragic antagonist is ridiculous.
Doesn't excuse J.J., but TFA was supposed to transcend Star Wars from being a visual effects circlejerk into something more, but it didn't.
Hell, it failed to have even remotely interesting effects.
Jace Torres
>Would you like supreme with your smoke
Ian Ross
He's a jew, why wouldn't he? At least he's honest about it, usually they do it behind your back.
Ayden Sullivan
It's a gold comedic moment with Han. Also Finn and Han are so good together here
Oliver Myers
Anyone else get the feel that JJ really doesn't care about making movies but he does it because it's easier than getting a real job ?
Henry Garcia
I was going to quote several parts of your post, instead I'm just going to use an image.
Andrew Martin
Not exactly but I do feel that he doesn't care to make something original or unique.
Blake Russell
And yet his best film is still Mission Impossible 3
Ethan Sanders
He's a business man pretending to be a film maker.
Asher King
its not that he doesn't care, but rather doesn't know how. This is why he turned Star Wars into a joke
Chase Bailey
Trips confirm his best movie, despite the fact that it's him imitating he work of another director as always, in this case the Jim Cam.
Matthew Carter
>despite the fact that it's him imitating he work of another director as always Name one movie by JJ that isn't him imitating someone else, he's a tv producer, all of his work is derivative of one or more movies.
