Influence & favorites are pretty much the same to me at this moment: Basinski, Grouper, Tim Hecker, Satie, Pärt etc.
However I'm quite deep into slowcore and spoken word which does not influence me at this moment.
...
ivonnevancleef.bandcamp.com
> rural psychedelia, lo fi, portastudio
biggest influence: j jammerson, mark sandman, les claypool
i love the first track but the last one it´s my favorite
>QOTD
Favorite bands/artists of all time are The Brave Little Abacus, Elliott Smith, Lil Ugly Mane, Duster, and Mat Cothran. Don't think I'm influenced by any of those but Elliott Smith too heavily. Maybe a bit of Duster. Listening to a lot of Phil Elverum, just got into it a couple months ago.
Influences...heavily weighted towards Modest Mouse, Elliott Smith, and Astrobrite I guess. More literature and directors desu. I like Bill Watterson a ton (obviously), Terry Pratchett, and Neal Stephenson. David Lynch too. And Park Chan Wook.

RECC CHECK
sup aer i like the new stuff, whats your digital piano? it sounds great.
oops forgot the question, biggest influences are Brian Wilson, Van Dyke Parks, and older video game OSTs, but i mostly listen to bleeps
Thanks for listening! Piano's Yamaha YDP-162.
Feels too meandering, but in a sloppy, less refined way. There are cool melodies in the songs, but it feels...well, improvised, like the title says. Are they all improv? If so, pretty good. Just not my thing
Definitely ambient/drone with almost no gaze elements this track. I dunno. One minimalist idea repeated for 4 minutes isn't going to win anyone over, and it definitely didn't make me care enough to explore your other stuff.
Thanks for checking it out nonetheless. Sorry to hear it wasn't to your liking.
>Are they all improv?
Yup. Every single one of them. One take, no repeats.
That's pretty impressive then, God knows I can't do that. Just not something I enjoy listening to, I like more cohesive stuff

EP coming soon. :D
Biggest influences: Radiohead and mus.hiba.

Not much time to give feedback today, I'll try though. Always appreciate feedback in return.
since you recc'd me (clyp) ill give you feedback.
Based on just the first track, great vocals, what synths/software are you using? Also nice arranging chops. I usually try to say something resembling of a negative in any feedback but i got a weak spot for this kinda stuff
...
I FUCKING LOVE "Glance"
Thanks for asking, my primary software synth is FM8. I love crafting patches in it, and future works will abuse it just as much.
yes
Nothing on my expectations. Nice, mellow and warm. Fanfare is my favourite. c:
This.
Go spread your love around. :D

What do you know about portable music? The idea is great but there is not enough releases. So, every track on the album was made on the go (no matter if it was a crowdy street or midnight bus, urbanistic cities or deep nature).
Of course, before recording we tried to dig through some obscure places to record the EVP and other wierd stuff to mix it. If you find something unnatural don't be afraid electronic voice is believed to be a myth, digital artifact or a kind of city legends and who knows how real it is. Thanks for listening ;)

nice to see more stuff from you, this album is massively trippy

nice music. very 2001. something like carl crack and muslimgauze but not the same production and not as dirty.
Same from you, loving what I hear on Paul! Thanks man.
Thank you!
Just listened to this in full, WOW! This is a very nice collection of electronic grooves. Highly recommend it
Funky as hell
You're one of the most overlooked guys ITT, maybe because of the default bandcamp design or that I rarely see you posting here
Oh God I can't describe how awesome this album is.
Much respect, especially coming from you. You're so prolific with your releases, great to see you posting here still. I love to lurk the Bandcamp threads, post when I have something to post.
Also yeah, my Bandcamp design blows! I'll fix that eventually.
have you ever released on a digital label before? you are serious fire and I hope you get super known. you're in my 'top 3 artists I discovered because of Sup Forums' list
I'm prolific because I make minimalistic noise and drone. Even if I try, it's hard to slow the pace down. I work on something every day, sometimes more projects and releases at the same time (one day I record a bunch of guitar tracks, on another day I record noise or mix/master them all in a DAW)
Just my own pseudo label, nothing separate from myself yet.
You've got a good pace dude, it's inspiring to see someone with a creative output as vast as yours. Love it, keep it up.
who /1k club/ here

my influences are DDX-10, Amnesia Scanner, Autechre, ▣世界から解放され▣, and Xenakis. (i have much more influences, but they aren't really related to my music, both compositionally and in mood) I guess Current 93 - I Have a Special Plan For This World effected the mood of my music as well
This is pretty cool user, and that album art is fucking great
Where did you get it?
Shit, that pic is great!
