hello guys, would really appreciate some feedback on my new tracks. thank you!
>beats
i liked the first one, although i would maybe make the drum groove a little more. i liked how they were spare, but maybe there needs to be a beat that really stays constant and keeps the flow. it's a beautiful riff though. very summery.
the other was too stereotypically trap for me. that's just my taste.
both tracks i'm sure would work well for someone to rap over with some additional production. keep making music!

for Y2K Aftermath
+ The Final Days, Last Second Party
+ when samples with a history continue being slowed down or have resonance added until they are unrecognizable
+ using other sample-based works as a callback but contrasting them with acoustic guitar/more intense glitching
+ removing biggie’s flow from the beat on Depressing Scene was funny, Closure was funnier
+ Y2K on a whole has a fair combination of variety and consistency, PP having comparatively more defined songs works with being on the second half
- since Pizza Palace isn’t in its entirety this criticism might only reach so far but the spacing between Seconds Away… ad when the national anthem plays on Cuban Ties feels a little too close together, some extra spacing between those two points might have better impact
- the digital drums work at some parts but seem naked at others, when they’re standalone there needs to be another element to make them seem more out of place, like a recording of real instruments somewhere faintly in the mix
- thematically it’s decent, it’s amusing when there’s a centered period of 1999-2001 in mind but then macintosh plus surfaces to psychic effect, maybe tying that bridge together with samples of things in between those years would be a nice thought
- overall there’s lots going on, my favorite parts were when there were eerier moods, listening through the entire thing didn’t seem like a waste and it would be nice to listen to again when the time is right

It's odd to actually read someone's review for something you made, and they actually seemed to have listened to it. Your words are very kind, sadly this is all old stuff.
I really did enjoy making this when I was like 14-15. Definitely was exposed to many music genres back then and it shows. The main idea for the album was too big for my younger self to comprehend, but what I can assume was, 1999-2000 was a difficult time for rational though. You had world ending rumors to glitches disrupting conversations. I just tried to combine different moods, thoughts and fears for the Y2K scare.
Tracks like Seconds Away, and Closure tried to tie both albums, like a story.
Anyways, thanks for your nicely made review. It definitely made my day. Y2K and Pizza Palace were basically my freshman years of music making, I am pretty sure my younger self was quite happy to read this.
