Hey Sup Forums

Hey Sup Forums,

What clichés do you hate hearing in lyrics?

>Compressed record static added to the song in post-production

Lies, pain

>what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

Imalying in lie
with the pain thas so painful
Lies in my pain, pain in my lies fool
Paining my lies while I lie to my pain, you
Never will know how my lies got so painful

>the song is about haters

>city
>pretty

i need some more BEER
cause I got something to FEAR

How about a piece of STEAK
Im so close im gonna BREAK

When you can tell a lyric was chosen just because it rhymed with the important line they actually wanted to write. Just cut that shit out, man.

>Milennial whoops
>yeah yeah
>I miss you
>The party
>fuck Donald Trump
>when were young
>Over the top sentimentality and nostalgia
>Don't know what to do

Oh and
>down on my knees

>rapper compares themself to a famous rockstar

>>The party

I'm not sure what it's called, but that fucking really fast almost snapping song in every shitty rap beat ever fucking made. If you're walking and a group of young nogs have a speaker and they are playing music loudly (for some reason) you can always hear it before you hear the lyrics.

You're probably talking about the rattling high hats from a Roland TR-808.

>ON MY KNEES
>BEGGING YOU PLEASE

I'm seeing this and fire-desire in every thread, but I can't name a single song off the top of my head that has either these.

>You might as well be walking on the sun

Self referential songs. Like: It's a rock track and the singer says "Because this rock is going to make you dance". I fucking hate this.

>put me on the/a shelf
>I don't want nobody else

Thank you for naming this menace user

Grey Poupon mustard in every rap song, it's so force everytime it gets mentioned.

for specific words I gotta say

>work
>ass (bonus points if it's preceded by "drop that")
>bitches
>hoes
>nigga
>money
>beer
>women
>trucks
>party

as far as themes go

>edginess
>singing about one's self excessively
>party (again)
>narcissism
