Is good

only if you're rich.

Middle class and poor get fucked out of healthcare

Na

It's shit just like Trump

Not perfect, but compared to Obama's it's fucking heaven.

Obamacare is basically free healthcare

Trumpcare is basically "if you can't afford it, sorry. Have a nice funeral...Oh wait you can't afford that either"

I'm not a yank, but everyday Trump fucks you yanks and I love it, some of you even thank him for shitting in your mouth and then robbing you, just because the last dude was black. I love it so much.

such an incisive grasp of American politics

Pretty fucking shit. It kicks 20 million people off their health insurance, and people with with pre-existing conditions in red states are fuuuuucked. A universal healthcare system would be much better solution.

>Obamacare is basically free healthcare
What? No it isn't.

GOP ploy to cull the poor and the sick. Little do they know that the primary beneficiaries of Medicaid coverage are uneducated and under-educated whites living in rural areas i.e. the base.

They're going to kill off the trailer trash that enables them to win elections.

DESE REPUBLOCANS GOINA TAKE MY HEALTHCARE

Obamacare is a tax they charge the "free riders" (i.e. people who can't afford insurance) that rich shits like Nancy Pelosi despise

Posting an obese man doesn't change the fact that this healthcare bill is shit.

Excuse me, loyal viewers. I don't usually make videos on this topic but I feel it needs to be addressed. The new healthcare bill made by the Republicans is going to literally kill me and other people like me.

First solid argument in favor of the bill that I've seen

You want to get rid of my healthcare? Oi can't survoive without my medications!

Is someone getting "rid of your gas" when you go the station and they refuse to fill up your beater when you're broke? No.

tell me whats your favorite part about it

>Obamacare is basically free healthcare
Are you fucking retarded m8?

>not knowing how taxes work

Obamacare is by far better than nothing but it is far from free

Rather deal with that then taking muslim cock in my ass and mouth all day in Europe.

Fuck I hate this nasty, sugar-rotted teeth.

FUCKING DIE.

Obamacare caused premiums to double. It fucked a hefty portion of the middle class out of their healthcare. There are states that once had 15+ providers that are now down to their last one.

Watch this, or be ignorant. youtube.com/watch?v=IBFoC1gkExI

It's pretty clear you don't.

...

...

It's not better for the poor who have to pay a penalty because they can't afford insurance. It's not better for the general consumer, who has seen their premiums skyrocket and the number of providers drop as they've been forced out of the market. It might be better for the small sliver of people who were able to get insurance because of the subsidies (though many of them can no longer afford even that, because of the premium jumps), but it fucked over everyone else.

>Obamacare caused premiums to double.
No, that's a misconception. Premiums have been going up even before obamacare. Most economist and healthcare experts agree that without the ACA, premiums would of gone up much higher. Also, the ACHA doesn't fix the high premiums, they're still going to go up for old and sick people, and after a few years for young people as well.

>Stefan Molyneux
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

People who are poor and can't afford the healthcare gets it free..."medicad" mate.

Im just so happy I live in a developed country with healthcare.

If you think healthcare is expensive now, wait until it's free.

If you want to sound smart that desperately, at least try to come up with an argument instead of just insults.

where are you getting this information from fox or Infowars

Medicad/medicare

It's great m8...

Of course once I graduate and start getting a good paying job I'll pay my own health insurance

>Most economist and healthcare experts agree that without the ACA, premiums would of gone up much higher.
[citation motherfucking needed]
And when you come back with Salon and Vox, I'm going to laugh at you.

not free is comes from taxes

>Obamacare is basically free healthcare
This is such a moronic statement that I'm going to assume you're trolling.

I haven't watched network television in decades, and I don't even know what Infowars is. Try harder.

Only reason we europoors get free heatlhcare and education is because of high taxes

So either you amerifats can pay higher taxes and get free healthcare or

pay low taxes and get expensive healthcare.

Hold on, i'll find it.

No shit.

Yeah it's awesome. Like the coalmining bit, only 3d world countries still fuck around with that shit. Who in their right mind still wants to walk around in a tunnel, chopping for coal for some fat fuck

Back, Satan!

kek
> understands Bernie

unless your premium is too much. What if you have a child and she has special needs or cancer. Theyre going to either drop you or raise your premiums to the point youd literally have to be billionaire to afford. Fuckin twit

America in a nutshell

>yank

Found the fake Brit

>pay low taxes and get expensive healthcare.
GOP doesnt understand that. They would prefer we all just circle jerk ourselves until we all die.

Well that's true...

But in general its either cheap or free depending on your situation

but regardless trumpcare is really shit. Even GOP themselves are against it..

But...but muh taxes...

I'm sure they would just prefer millions of americans die if it means making a profit

There are alternatives to driving. Whats the alternative to getting sick dumbass. "just dont get sick"

kys

>>Try harder.
SUCC

...

I'm sure millions of Americans would prefer that millions of other Americans would die instead of having to pay more tax. GOP's onto a real winner.

Just move to Canada and get it for free

problem solved HAIL THE LEAF!

not the guy you were talking to but.. LA Times?
latimes.com/business/hiltzik/la-fi-hiltzik-obamacare-premiums-20160726-snap-story.html

Do you think they're biased too? I honestly don't really know anymore who different people think are the "fake" sources. Can you give me some examples of sources you'd consider reliable? Not even about this argument in specific, just where you'd prefer citations to come from.

ncsl.org/research/health/health-insurance-premiums.aspx#State_by_State

This includes a section headed "Analysis of 2015 Health Premiums Finds Average Nationwide Is Flat". I haven't done a cross-comparison to states that refused federal medicaid expansion dollars but I think some people have.

npr.org/sections/health-shots/2015/10/15/448729327/states-that-declined-to-expand-medicaid-face-higher-costs

Pretty sure that's Obama's fault. I mean Kentucky. Kentucky is Obama's fault. Nigger.

Badass

That's exactly what insurance should address -- catastrophic needs. Unfortunately, they've confused health insurance with holistic all-in-one coverage of every elective thing under the sun, and left the people with real needs high and dry.

I think I basically agree with you, but then what do we do about the absurd cost of basic health care services?

...

Giving 800 billion dollars to the already-rich and screwing everyone else is a good idea??

>>latimes.com/business/hiltzik/la-fi-hiltzik-obamacare-premiums-20160726-snap-story.html
>An important new study by Loren Adler and Paul Ginsburg of the Brookings Institution adds another key factor. Their finding is that, even with an expected spike in premium increases for 2017, rates are still lower than they would have been without the Affordable Care Act. They calculate that premiums would have to rise by more than 44% for next year to approach where they would have been given the pre-ACA trend line. In fact, Adler and Ginsburg are being conservative — they calculated a rise of 5% a year from pre-ACA rates, even though the actual annual increases ranged from 11.7% in 2010 to 7-8% in 2011-2013.

Thanks Obama.

As a veteran I can't even use obamacare or trumpcare. I don't qualify for the tax credit unless I also forfeit VA healthcare, which only covers my service connected disabilities, so 2 things.

So either I pay full premiums and have VA healthcare or I just buy whatever care like everyone else but forfeit the VA plan. But wait, if you use the GI/Bill and go to school full time, your MHA isn't income, so you fall below poverty unless you also work full time as a student. Then you aren't covered by either plan anyway.

Both bills have/had gaps tons of people fall into and are just political pissing matches. It's like choosing between trump and hillary again, they still both suck dogshit. We lose again.

I'm not sure, the system's really fucked up because of the bizarre incentives. The one thing I'm sure about is that the politicians -- both parties -- just keep making it worse.

If it doesn't affect Joe Sixpack to do so whilst allowing him to keep more of his paycheck, then yeah. Not my opinion, but a commonly-held one, i think.

I think that describes one of the root problems -- this shit's way, way too complex. Nobody really knows what's going on or how to fix the mess. Which is to the politicians' advantage (they can make promises, and shift the blame), but fucks over the voters and general public.

Wut, no. A Good healthcare covers from family doctor to expensive cancer treatments. You cover all or nothing.
BUT what I don't get is that a country can complain that gasprices are rising (half of the price of any european country), that they can basically print a world currency and still don't manage to supply basic needs.. Like a healthcare system. How can you pretend to be a 1st world country

and aside from the premiums, you'll have to first pay a $6000 deductible before the insurance pays a penny

>current year maymay
>not having medicare
>developed country

Part of it is on what they charge for the services. If i am the hospital and people have insurance I can charge you 10 bucks a pill of asprin and Ill get it I can charge you whatever I want because your insurance will pay it. So in theory government healthcare would help bring those costs to light and bring them down. Because if they dont they could be taxed harsher to make up for their overcharging of materials. But with this clusterfuck we have now nothing will change. We have so overcomplicated it to the point its hard to make those changes in one swoop ya know?

Don't you qualify for Medicaid as someone below the poverty line?

80% of us were happy with the coverage we had before ACA. Now I can't even afford to pay my huge deductible so it's like I don't have insurance

and then we write more bills based on a party line and fuckin se how complex we can make it apparently

You're an idiot who should learn what words mean. Look up the word "insurance".

>and still don't manage to supply basic needs.. Like a healthcare system. How can you pretend to be a 1st world country
Because people here have been brainwashed into thinking universal healthcare and welfare is "socialism"

Because they're hamstrung by the nation's implicit faith in the virtue of profit. I'm sure we'd all like to do something about everybody being greedy shits all the time, if only we weren't so busy being greedy shits.

>trump's healthcare bill?

This isn't Trump's healthcare bill. Presidents do not make legislation. This is the Senate's healthcare bill.

Uncertainty and confusion helps the incumbents. Look at the tax code, for instance, and how much resistance there has been to making it somewhat rational.

britfag here. u guys fucked up whenever u wouldn't accept obamacare. the best part of our society is our NHS and free healthcare. guess american's are too stingy to share their money cus muh freedomz

Do you also disagree with people calling the ACA obamacare?

Depends on the state. The majority of states have very limited medicaid available for anyone not over the age of 60 or pregnant. Medicaid funding is pretty much shit too, so it's another huge gap people fall through.

Enjoy your diversity you fucking faggot

but thats the problem. We know it wasnt good before either but you cant make all the change at once. It has to happen over time. Right now you might not qualify for ACA. Now lets assume costs keep rising as they have been. Eventually you will qualify becuase your private insurance wants too much and you have to have coverage. Thus you have now begun to phase out those companies who cannot compete. you have to take steps toward making things better it cant all happen at once. Not with how complex its become.

Obamacare is a federal law that forces people to buy private insurance. Since everyone must now buy private insurance, they have jacked the prices way the fuck up. It's a compromise between public healthcare and private healthcare that takes the absolute worst from both worlds and taxes the everloving fuck out of small businesses and citizens.

Wrong thread. We'll talk later.

I don't live in America so not really sure about your system. But, if a person fell really really ill and didn't have health insurance, what happens? Are they left to die in their homes? Would that happen often?

what has diversity got to do with the state providing the universal right of free healthcare?

Low education Republitards who live in Buttcrack County will be the first ones to feel the pain when the bills come in. Zero shits given.

The ACA was specifically about expanding Medicaid coverage though. Specifically to cover exactly the hole you're talking about. If you're in a state in which you fail eligibility for credit in the exchanges AND also make too much to be eligible for medicaid, you're probably in a state that refused federal funds for medicaid expansion. 60+ is MediCARE though, different beast.

Explain in detail how.
I bet you can't
I bet you havn't even read the bill and you just assumed that because
>Republican bad
>democrat gud.
Brainwashed faggot

No money, no help. Your life is literally worthless in the land of the free.

Wut?

You get crippling health bill debt.

Yeah, that's the problem indeed. You see Healthcare as an 'insurance', gl with that

Fucking horrible. We need Michelle in the office, not some fucking unqualified reality tv star.
