Seeing as all the people killed were not limited to Germany, that makes sense. You don't build a monument to all those killed in one place and add on to those killed in others. In total, across the extent of the German empire and all of its holdings during that period over 12 million undesirable people were exterminated. While the about half of them were jews the rest were not. These included other ethnic minorities (the Romani for example), political adversaries, journalists, non-combatant Allied sympathizers, the sick, the handicapped, the mentally deficient, basically anyone that the Germans didn't want to deal with. Then you have the millions that were killed by the actions of the Germans but not directly by them. Those taken by starvation, disease, etc.
This, of course, is not counting those that were actually fighting the Germans. Members of the Allied forces, resistance fighters, prisoners of war, etc.

That plaque was put up by Soviets and it's not specifically about jews. After the communist regime in Poland collapsed, the number was lowered. Furthermore, the six million figure does not entail a death toll of four million at Auschwitz.

Uh, no. Germany started World War II when they invaded Poland in 1939. You can spin it however you like, but those are the facts. Boycotting a certain country's goods in response to their government's policies is not the same as invading another fucking country.
